I've been wanting a good Twinkie eliquid for a while now. Wayne did one up on live mixing that kind of came close but still not what I wanted so I decided to try my hand at it.

OoO Golden Sponge Cake is one of my favorite sponge cake flavors and it mixes really well with FW Creamy Sponge Cake and a touch of WF Fluffy White Cake to make about the perfect Twinkie cake flavor.

For the cream filling I knew I wanted to go with VSO Vanilla Cream and VT Sweet Cream. Those paired with FLV Sweetness at slightly higher a percentage than I normally use make a great vanilla cream filling. I also added a touch of OoO Whipped Cream to help out the fluffiness of the cream some.

OoO Golden Sponge Cake has that golden brown crust-like note that you don't really get from an actual twinkie but the sponge cake texture of it is on point. In order to cover that note up and add a bit of creamy butter taste to the cake, without it bleeding into the cream layer, I added just a touch of WF Philadelphia Butter Cake. Even at 0.75% WF Philadelphia Butter Cake is what really brings this all together.

That's really about it. I tried a more complex version of this starting out but at the end of the day simple was better.

I'm really enjoying this recipe. It's good off the shake but if you let it steep 5 - 7 days FW Creamy Sponge Cake and VSO Vanilla Cream really come to life and make this one shine. I hope you enjoy.

*Edit Note - As this one steeped it was getting sweeter and sweeter which kinda threw everything off a bit. I lowered VSO Vanilla Cream to 2.25% and FLV Sweetness to 0.25% and added 1% of JF Yellow Cake. Off the shake it's too cakey now but after a 5 to 7 day steep it's an amazing Twinkie. Also, now it ages very very well.
