I've been obsessed with milkshake recipes lately, and one very specific type of milkshake I've been wanting to hone in on is the homemade milkshake. This is the one where you wake up late at night craving a milkshake (Cuz people do that right? It's not just me?) and you decide to mix it all yourself. You grab some ice cream and some milk, mix them together by hand. You usually add too much milk, yet the end result is a very dairy heavy but extremely good milkshake that satisfies your craving.

With that in mind I knew FA Milk along with OoO Cream Milky Undertones were necessary flavors. They add a wonderful dairy note that mixes so good with ice cream flavors.

Speaking of Ice Cream flavors, LB Vanilla Ice Cream is still king for me. I know it is the scourge of pepper tasters everywhere but to me nothing really nails vanilla ice cream quite like LB does!

I wanted something that would kick up the body and mouth feel and Vanilla Swirl is still the king. This helps LB Vanilla Ice Cream come across more smooth and full. It also helps kick up the vanilla note some.

I added a touch of WF French Vanilla Thick to kick up the thickness some.

Finally, a touch of FLV Sweetness tops everything off and adds that nice extra sugary note to the whole thing.

Edit Note : I mixed this up and added WF Vanilla Cream Extra and the result was even better. It kicked up the creaminess and vanilla to about the perfect level.

I originally used INW Custard to make this one a bit more SNV and to add some thickness. While it was good, it kind of took the flavor away from "milkshake". I redid it with WF French Vanilla Thick and the result was much more like an actual milkshake while still adding some needed thickness to the recipe. I highly recommend mixing this new update even if you tried and like it with INW Custard. If you liked it better with INW Custard simply replace WF French Vanilla Thick with 1% INW Custard.

I've been really enjoying this one and I hope you do as well.
