Sour Blue Raspberry Lemonade

I've always liked blue raspberry candies and blue raspberry lemonade drinks but for the most part blue raspberry flavorings kinda suck. Just when I was about to give up on blue raspberry I tried WF Sour Blue Raspberry and it reminded me of blue raspberry jolly ranchers. I really wanted to do a new lemonade so i decided to give a blue raspberry lemonade a try using WF Sour Blue Raspberry. I added just a touch of PUR Sour Raspberry Candy to even out the raspberry and add more tartness.

I went with FLV Lemonade because it always seems to work better with candy-like flavors. It also adds just enough to make it clearly taste like lemonade without overpowering the other flavors. I always add VT Sour Lemon to Lemonades because it just really makes them pop.

I really like LB Sour for adding tartness and brightening fruits/candies but this time around I went with LA Tart & Sour. It already has a candy vibe going on and it really pulls off a tart kick very well.

I tried a few versions of this before landing at these percentages and highly enjoying the recipe but I may adjust this in the future if I find a better way to mix it up

Edit Note - I recently came back to this recipe and tried it again. I really liked it as it was except I was still wanting a bit more blue raspberry so I upped it to 5.5%. It does need about 2 days to steep. The VT Sour Lemon and WF Sour Blue Raspbberry Candy need that time to mellow out some and brighten up fully. Also, the CAP Super Sweet is kept pretty low because of the LA Tart & Sour, which is itself very sweet. Feel free to sweeten this however you like but just keep in mind that LA Tart & Sour is very sweet as well. FYI this recipe works great in boro bridges.
