AKA Folkart's Reserve

I don't normally buy commercial ejuice. However, I broke down and purchased Cuttwood Boss Reserve to try to clone for Remix Month. I had never tried this eliquid, but as commercial juices go, it's pretty good. Cuttwood describes this profile as: Golden Honey Graham Cracker with Roasted Nut Clusters Drenched in Creamy Milk and Layered with Sliced Bananas.
On vaping this for the first time, I got Honey, nut clusters, biscuit, slightly milky and banana cream. So this is how I approached it.
For the Honey and milk I used the obvious, FLV Milk and Honey at 1.5%. This seemed to be predominate top note so I used it at the upper range at 1.5%.
The nut clusters was tricky. I thought at first to use FA Mixed nuts and maybe TPA Peanut Butter. But the more I vaped Boss Reserve, I became convinced it was just simply AP. Acetyl Pyrazine adds a "nut cluster" cereal note to this mix at 1%.
Cuttwood says there is a graham note in their juice but I get more of a INW Biscuit but just a touch(.25%).
The banana note was pretty easy to pick out. TPA Banana Cream at 1.5% was used for this note. Now off the shake, the banana note is stronger than Boss Reserve. Just let it steep for a few days and it settles down to where it needs to be.
The sweetness level of Boss Reserve is on the upper limits of what I like to vape but not as high as most commercial juices I've tried. CAP Super Sweet at .25% seemed to be spot on for this mix.

I hope people will mix this to see how close it is to the original. Enjoy :)

Folkart's Reserve OneShot now available at https://nomnomz.co.uk/

Can be a shake and vape but is best after a 3 day steep.

IMO I think it needs an actual nut flavor (some sort of hazelnut or almond would be good, I use PUR Vanilla Nut Brittle) and a little less AP. The version I made with 0.5% AP still gives me a salty fritos vibe underneath the nice creamy banana and biscuit/graham cracker. Beyond that, it's a good mix and I can't stop vaping it!

10/10 mix. I made a version subbing VT Banana Custard at the same percent. I highly recommend trying that out if you haven't yet.

Amazing recipe banana is just right Almost taste like banana nut bread Missing more of a nut taste But it is fuckin delicious just after a day even

I wasn't really a fan of this. So much AP from the Biscuit and actual AP all I could taste was corn chips. I imagine if I tinkered with the percentages I could get something I liked.

I do hate AP. But you have me here vaping your recipe as an addict. I tough AP+INW biscuit was too much, but you got a balance there, not sure how. This is just an awesome, thick, sweet and very real material. If you are thinking about it please go ahead and mix it.

Never had the original but I wasn’t paying attention and overshot either the AP or Biscuit (damn I wish I remember because it’s GREAT) so I just steeped it longer (2.5 weeks) and again, it’s great. I’m sure the original is even more balanced. And I’m all about low flavoring ! Fantastic recipe !

Never tried the original but this is one of my favourite recipes. It's rich and complex but smooth and very addictive. I bought a one shot of it from nomnomz and I can't put it down. I find it hard to identify any one flavour in it, it's that well balanced. An ADV is a strange concept to me because I change juices all the time but this is one that I will happily vape for many days at a time.

Never tried the original juice but this takes the cup. Full on flavour with just 4 ingredients at low percentages. Excellent recipe Folkart!

Great stuff!!! I'm really digging it. Love the way you use the AP!! 5 stars

I have become addicted to this, more than the original Boss Reserve. I have made about 600ml of this and have another 600ml steeping. I'm running out of TFA Banana Cream, will make a small batch with LA Banana cream. I hope the flavors are close enough until I get more TFA in. This is by FAR my ADV and I have made lots of stuff. The AP I rarely kept on hand but now I had to order 4oz bottle (as well as 4oz of M&H) because I will be making this MANY times over. I wish I could give it 10 stars, best recipe on this site in my opinion.

Mixed this as I had everything to make it but looking at the 1% AP and Banana Cream I didn't expect I'd really like it that much but I was wrong. I've never had the original but this is really good!

I've never had Cuttwood's version, but I absolutely love this recipe. Milk & Honey is such a great tasting flavor, and it pairs so well with Banana Cream. I bumped up the sweetener a little, but that's just personal preference. Awesome recipe!

Acetyl pyrazine took some getting used to it was a little throaty but i after a few vapes it didnt bother me. The banana and the milk&honey are phenomenal in this recipe

A nice recipe here. Coming from someone who is not a big fan of banana or nut flavors this is actually really tasty. Some excellent flavor bending here...tastes almost exactly as described off the shake. Just a note from my experience vaping this after a steep of 10 days...this changes from honey nut clusters and graham cracker to rice. Yep. Creamy brown rice with sliced bananas and honey drizzled on top. Not complaining but I thought I should note that. Anyways keep up the good work and I will be mixing this up again someday soon.

How can something this simple, with such a low percentage, be such a masterpiece?! I love this recipe; it manages to taste like so much more than the sum of it's parts, and it satisfies cravings I didn't even know I had. Really, really delicious. Thank you so much for sharing it!

I purchased FLV Milk n Honey just to make this recipe and boy was it worth it. I’m not a big banana fan, but love how the AP transforms this mix into subtle creamy note that I really enjoy. Brilliant!

Yo Folk, This stuff is actually damned good! I don't mix many other mixers stuff due to lack of time, But this one was too simple and quick to mix up to pass up on it. Damn am I glad I mixed it up. Five stars hands down bro. Great recipe.

This is probably the best remix I’ve ever seen anyone do. I had to get a bottle of Boss Reserve just to compare. And yeah it’s damn close! And like others have said i prefer your version. Fantastic job! This recipe alone makes Remix Month a success!

Way to nutty for me. As I can't compare it to the original and generally don't like nutty vapes, I just leave this as a comment without a rating.

Boss Reserve might be the best of the few premium juices I tried before DIY, except the coil-gunking sweetness was as high as the price. This recipe really fixes those two things. I made it with .75% FLV Banana instead of Banana Cream and made one batch with INW Biscuit and one with JF Biscuit. I prefer the INW Biscuit because it is drier and the AP turns it into a nut cluster cereal. I didn't even know AP could be used this high as its own flavor. I remember the real BR tasting like brown sugar, so the Milk & Honey brings that amazing dark sugar flavor with the creaminess to balance it out. The banana tastes like putting banana slices on top of the cereal. You hit the jackpot here!

This, this is amazing. I've had the original, and it is very similar. I much prefer this one though for sure. You can taste every little layer here as well. The biscuit/AP give it that slight crunch. The M&H help blend everything together. This is a great example of a more simple, straightforward mix that creates a layered, and even slightly complex mix.
User: MrBurgundy Score: 5 Entered: 10 months ago
Absolutely phenomenal. I’ve never had the original, but this stuff is hard to put down. Off the shake, the Milk & Honey is pretty forward. After a few days it begins to meld into the Banana Cream. Biscuit and AP give it a crunchy, nutty twist that keeps me coming back for more. Each delicate layer is given room to shine. Folkart did a masterful job here. One of the best recipes I’ve had all year. It starts out fantastic and gets better with each passing day. Do yourself a favor and mix this one up. Thanks for sharing, folkart!

YOOOOOOOO I 6 days was long enough this shot is delicious bro. This was a perfect use of TFA Banana Cream. I love the nutty, creamy, banana profile that this offers. I have never had the cuttwood version but now I don't need to this is awesome. It complains my Belgium triple perfectly. Great job homie, keep up the good work. Peace!!! Don't 😴 on Folk art !!!!!!

Your sir, HAVE DONE IT!!!👍👍 Excellent job! Just mixed this up and I can tell that this WILL be the closest if not actual Boss Reserve... I have tasted enough of the original to know that this stuff is great right off the shake... I now will be deleting my failed attempt at this recipe... Once again, job well done!
