DIY E-Liquid Recipe

This recipe is a Work In Progress.

It might be amazing, but it's creator doesn't think it's finished yet.

I don't normally buy commercial ejuice. However, I broke down and purchased Cuttwood Boss Reserve to try to clone for Remix Month. I had never tried this eliquid, but as commercial juices go, it's pretty good. Cuttwood describes this profile as: Golden Honey Graham Cracker with Roasted Nut Clusters Drenched in Creamy Milk and Layered with Sliced Bananas.
On vaping this for the first time, I got Honey, nut clusters, biscuit, slightly milky and banana cream. So this is how I approached it.
For the Honey and milk I used the obvious, FLV Milk and Honey at 1.5%. This seemed to be predominate top note so I used it at the upper range at 1.5%.
The nut clusters was tricky. I thought at first to use FA Mixed nuts and maybe TPA Peanut Butter. But the more I vaped Boss Reserve, I became convinced it was just simply AP. Acetyl Pyrazine adds a "nut cluster" cereal note to this mix at 1%.
Cuttwood says there is a graham note in their juice but I get more of a INW Biscuit but just a touch(.25%).
The banana note was pretty easy to pick out. TPA Banana Cream at 1.5% was used for this note. Now off the shake, the banana note is stronger than Boss Reserve. Just let it steep for a few days and it settles down to where it needs to be.
The sweetness level of Boss Reserve is on the upper limits of what I like to vape but not as high as most commercial juices I've tried. CAP Super Sweet at .25% seemed to be spot on for this mix.

I hope people will mix this to see how close it is to the original. Enjoy :)

Can be a shake and vape but is best after a 3 day steep.

I purchased FLV Milk n Honey just to make this recipe and boy was it worth it. I’m not a big banana fan, but love how the AP transforms this mix into subtle creamy note that I really enjoy. Brilliant!

Yo Folk, This stuff is actually damned good! I don't mix many other mixers stuff due to lack of time, But this one was too simple and quick to mix up to pass up on it. Damn am I glad I mixed it up. Five stars hands down bro. Great recipe.

This is probably the best remix I’ve ever seen anyone do. I had to get a bottle of Boss Reserve just to compare. And yeah it’s damn close! And like others have said i prefer your version. Fantastic job! This recipe alone makes Remix Month a success!

Way to nutty for me. As I can't compare it to the original and generally don't like nutty vapes, I just leave this as a comment without a rating.

Boss Reserve might be the best of the few premium juices I tried before DIY, except the coil-gunking sweetness was as high as the price. This recipe really fixes those two things. I made it with .75% FLV Banana instead of Banana Cream and made one batch with INW Biscuit and one with JF Biscuit. I prefer the INW Biscuit because it is drier and the AP turns it into a nut cluster cereal. I didn't even know AP could be used this high as its own flavor. I remember the real BR tasting like brown sugar, so the Milk & Honey brings that amazing dark sugar flavor with the creaminess to balance it out. The banana tastes like putting banana slices on top of the cereal. You hit the jackpot here!

This, this is amazing. I've had the original, and it is very similar. I much prefer this one though for sure. You can taste every little layer here as well. The biscuit/AP give it that slight crunch. The M&H help blend everything together. This is a great example of a more simple, straightforward mix that creates a layered, and even slightly complex mix.

Absolutely phenomenal. I’ve never had the original, but this stuff is hard to put down. Off the shake, the Milk & Honey is pretty forward. After a few days it begins to meld into the Banana Cream. Biscuit and AP give it a crunchy, nutty twist that keeps me coming back for more. Each delicate layer is given room to shine. Folkart did a masterful job here. One of the best recipes I’ve had all year. It starts out fantastic and gets better with each passing day. Do yourself a favor and mix this one up. Thanks for sharing, folkart!

I have never had the original but this is bloody delicious. Tastes just like the original description should taste. A super silky cream over honeynut clusters on graham cracker with a hint of banana. A+

Your sir, HAVE DONE IT!!!πŸ‘πŸ‘ Excellent job! Just mixed this up and I can tell that this WILL be the closest if not actual Boss Reserve... I have tasted enough of the original to know that this stuff is great right off the shake... I now will be deleting my failed attempt at this recipe... Once again, job well done!
