Honeysuckle Ice Cream based on this recipe: http://theviewfromgreatisland.com/honeysuckle-ice-cream/

TLDR for that link: pick fresh honeysuckle blossoms and steep them overnight in milk, heavy cream, and sugar. Strain out the flowers, add real vanilla bean, and run the mix through an ice cream machine.

TFA Honeysuckle infuses the cream flavors with a delicate floral perfume. It’s carefully balanced at 3% to work as a shake-and-vape recipe here. Any higher would be overdoing it – we want the just the sillage of this summery fragrance, nature’s magnet for birds and bees, left behind after steeping in the ice cream base. Failing to strain out the flowers themselves would spoil this elegant dessert.

INW Shisha Vanilla brings a sweet, creamy vanilla, very reminiscent of a homemade, non-custard vanilla ice cream. This could almost be a two-ingredient recipe with just these two flavors, but some additional creams pick up where Shisha Vanilla leaves off.

TFA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream is a tricky but essential addition. It’s tricky because it has something we don’t want, those custard notes, as this is an egg-free, AKA Philadelphia-style or American-style ice cream. Used low enough with these other ingredients, eggs can be avoided while still providing what we do want – that dense body and luxurious mouthfeel of churned heavy cream. that Shisha Vanilla doesn’t have enough of, and a more robust, truly vanilla bean flavor as opposed to Shisha Vanilla’s flavor that sits somewhere between extract and bean.

FLV Cream adds more neutral creamy body to the mix and binds and blends the honeysuckle, vanilla, and creams together. It enhances the heavy milk taste of Cream Fresh as well, but alone, it lacks enough dairy flavor to complete the milk and cream mix used to make this ice cream.

FA Cream Fresh brings the milk, but too much of it seems to react poorly to Honeysuckle in souring way, as if the ice cream had been made with milk that was a day or two past its sell-by date. To complete this ode to longing, Cream Fresh and FLV Cream need each other.

And why "Longing?" Because I miss someone who isn't mine to miss, dream about someone who isn't mine to dream about, and love someone who is no longer mine to love. Moving on with anyone else is hard when they kiss me and I'm afraid all they taste is her name on my lips. Of all the sensual pleasures we once shared, it is her unique flavor I still thirst for most of all. The closest thing I've found to the taste of her body at the height of her bliss, her amrita, is Honeysuckle Ice Cream.

Ms. Emotions- Sooo, I mixed this up awhile ago and I wasn't getting anything from it. I've now switched over to an RTA, saw this little bottle sitting in the drawer and I gave it a taste. This is a very subtle, delicate, and balanced recipe! It's creamy and slightly sweet and I don't get any off notes. I can definitely see this base working in other versions, and think this is well done. IMO, this recipe isn't for mtl/sub-om tank and it's not for you if you like an strong flavored vape juice. I am one of those people that like a stronger flavored juice but surprisingly I'm almost finished with the tester, lol. EDIT- Fuck, florals are hard bruh, respect. 5 stars.

I am apparently well in the minority here. I love the idea, however this recipe doesn't do it for me. It's balanced, and I do not get any of the usual weird off-notes that come out with creams or milk flavors. But it's also seemingly under flavored (to me) for the percentage and I get a bubble gum off-note. I do think this might be a launching point for a remix of the idea that works for me, so I want to applaud the idea of honeysuckle icecream even if it didn't pan out.

After mixing over 100 recipes on ATF, I can honestly say this is my favorite. Every puff takes me back to picking honeysuckles off the bush as a kid. Absolutely fantastic!

My all time favorite recipe. I vape this at all times of the year, especially when I feel a chill when summer is winding down. Love this recipe, can't believe I never reviewed it.

Really nice recipe here. Honeysuckle and cream go together so well. The ice cream is very well balenced. I feel the honeysuckle is just a smidge too strong here though. Edit: after another week of steeping the honeysuckle has really mellowed out by the creams. Now this is absolutely perfect. Well done.

This recipe is something else, it's absolutely stunning! I normally find myself dripping a new mix as soon as my cotton is dry but I can't put this down. If there was vape perfection, this is it.

I was skeptical but darn if this isn't good! Very balanced between vanilla and honeysuckle.

Absolutely stunning vape! Perfect! Very well done @ID10-T!

Delicate and well balanced creamy flavour with a floral note. The only negative aspect (totally subjective) is that it is slightly under-flavoured at least for my setup (Guardian Vaporesso 0.5Ω at 230-250 C), thus the 4 stars and not 5. Amazing balance and roundness to the flavour though!

I don't know why this is special, but it is. I was afraid the vanilla would be pronounced, but steep it for 7 days and this is an amazing vape. It's smooth, it's sweet, it's beautiful. Honeysuckle cream.

This recipe is really something special. Every percentage has been balanced perfectly to bring great qualities to the profile, without adding anything unpleasant or unnecessary. There are no noticeable notes of egg, or bakery elements of a crust or cone. It is a simple and elegant mixture of three things: freshly churned cream, deep, rich vanilla bean, and the floral delicacy of honeysuckle. I could never create a better description than the recipe's creator so please make sure to read the notes.

Very amazingly balanced, slightly floral, incredibly interesting and super creamy ADV. Those particular creams and the extra vanilla really helps stand up to the Honeysuckle. This is definitely one of my top 5 favorite recipes.

Fluffy clouds of summer. Close your eyes. Inhale. Now exhale. Think of walking down the street as a child, smelling the flowers. The ice cream truck's tinkling notes drift down the street. Right, now the silliness is over with, that is exactly what this juice made me feel. It reminded me of summers when I was a kid, grabbing an ice cream from the ice cream van with my mum and walking back with it in hand past our neighbour's garden and inhaling the strong scent of honeysuckle from the vines creeping up their house. The Vanilla is a background companion to the star of the show, the honeysuckle. I can see this being overpowering for people that don't usually like florals, but this was exactly what I hoped it would be. Beautiful.

The vanilla is soft and sweet, not too overpowering which is nice. The vanilla bean ice cream is a background note that makes this more elaborate but it doesn't take over. The honeysuckle is the star of the show here, and although I can tell the balance of the recipe is great and the vape is smooth, I just don't like the flavor in this one. The honeysuckle taste very green and perfume like to me which reminds me of why I can't vape strawberry vapes. It's my own fault but I can't bring myself to like this one.

I mixed this with a degree of trepidation because florals aren't usually my thing but somehow I have honeysuckle on the shelf. I should have mixed this a lot sooner...it's been sitting in the queue waiting to be mixed for months. It's beautiful.

Excellent i tried another honeysuckle ice cream recipe but it was harsh AF and the honeysuckle didnt come through at all. But yours is smooth as glass and honey suckle comes through nicely and great job on the ice cream base as well

I wasn't sure about this at first, but it grew on me more & more. It became a favorite by the time I finished the bottle. This recipe shows what is special about DIY.. making flavor combos that aren't found in any commercial juices.

This is listed as a S&V, but I have really enjoyed sampling it over the course of 4 weeks. Yes, this seems to be true to the profile and that is cool on its own, but there are some other things I would like to note. The ice cream is great. I may have fallen in love with INW Shisha Vanilla as well. I enjoy this recipe with coffee and heavier, darker, and sweeter beers. After a couple of weeks, the overall vape gets softer on the palate and the Honeysuckle blends through a bit more as if the ice cream has melted. The honeysuckle doesn't fade though...no, sir. The vanilla holds its own as well. Beautiful work.

Nice creamy ice cream. Honey suckle makes it very wet and gives a nice floral note. Very unique flavor. The floral note is note overwhelming and blends nice with the cream and vanilla. Not really my flavor profile but a very good recipe and expertly crafted.

I have come to a point where I have realized that every mixer out there has a spirit mixer. @ID10-T would have to be mine. I looked at this when he released it for the contest and thought "Exactly how in the F*** have I not put these together just like this before. These are some of my most used concentrate. The combo here highlights some of the stronger points of each concentrate in a way that absolutely amplifies the strong points of the other concentrates in the mix. This is absolutely the "immortal nectar"...

I've been meaning to mix this recipe for a few weeks but kept putting it off because I didn't think I'd like it, but I was wrong... I basically shake and vaped.. I'm enjoying this quite alot and look forward to what it tastes like in a few days.. I did add .5 cap super sweet by the way.
User: oblivion2k Score: 5 Entered: about 4 years ago
I can't Shake and Vape this one, the honeysuckle is too subtle, but after about 5 or 6 days the juice darkens and then the honeysuckle really comes out to play, and it turns into a fantastic juice. Great stuff.

Tasty ice cream with a slight hint of honeysuckle. I needed some time to fully enjoy it. Sit down, relax and listen to the birds. Perfect companion for a good book.
User: hyperlite310 Score: 5 Entered: about 4 years ago
Tastes exactly like you wouldn't expect lol! Its so different and great for a springtime ADV. The creams really tone down to floralness from the honeysuckle and turn it into something completely different. This really showcases @ID10-T 's mixing skills and I see why he won the competition.

I paid for a subscription in part so I could leave a 5-star review for Longing. This recipe is beyond words for me, and if you don't mix it up, you're definitely missing out on something special.

This is an amazing recipe. The imagery, story, and profile work together flawlessly to create a mix that stimulates my palate and mind with its sweet, creamy, floral, ethereal, and elusive qualities. ID1O-T has created a work of art by using all mediums at his disposal (i.e. words, images, flavor) to create a cathartic experience rather than just another faceless recipe. The only reason I am giving four stars instead of five is because of the "elusive" part. If I remove the back story and imagery (which I suspect most mixers will), and just focus on the mix itself, I am left with something that starts out incredible, but quickly looses flavor until you put it down for awhile and come back to it. Maybe a longer steep will help with this (I waited 24 hours per the recipe's instructions). Maybe ID10-T is well aware of this, and feels that this is essential to the whole "love lost" experience. Who knows? Anyway, thank you for sharing this.

Very nice ice cream flavor! I was hesitant to buy FLV cream just because I think FLV is way overpriced, but I'm glad I did. This is probably the most authentic, real tasting ice cream vape I've ever had! And the honeysuckle is so perfectly balanced into it. I can definitely see why this won the diyordie contest!

A very authentic ice cream base. It has some heavy butter/dairy notes from VBIC and Cream Fresh especially after a bit of steeping, but always just enough to make the flavor feel dense. This is the first floral vape I've truly enjoyed, and almost exactly what I imagined my first floral vape I liked being like: creamy, good amount of vanilla, and not too floral as is jasmin, not too sharp as in cactus, but something.. Pastel purple? I love it.
