Submitted for Mixers Club October 2022 - Witch's Cauldron.
Pretty much going for a bananas foster custard here.
The custard: FA Custard Premium is doing the heavy lifting with SSA Clotted Cream to add a little more richness away from the buttery side of things. WF Egg Yolk, because Wolf said so. WF Philadelphia Butter Cake is here for some texture and a little bolstering of the buttery notes.
The banana: VT Banana Custard for obvious reasons and PUR Banana to fill it out and brighten it a bit and help it stand up against the darker flavors.
The foster: FLV Caramel for a nice dark sugar note. FA Jamaica Special for a dark rum sauce. FLV Rich Cinnamon is used low for just a touch of cinnamon and depth. VT Scorched Caramel is here to round out the sauce and add a bit of a brulee feel.
