A delicious chocolate and pandan cream wafer.

My wife gets this Yum Box subscription and we received an Indonesian box. That box included these delicious wafers that I could eat until I died. Knowing Wolf is a fan of interesting flavors I sent him a photo of them. We spoke a little about how pandan is sort of weird and how it might be difficult to pull off. I think this turned out really well and I've been really enjoying it. Full disclosure, this was a lot Wolf and very little me, but I have been given the blessing to post this one up.

This one is fairly straight forward.

The wafer: Crispy Wafer is doing most of the heavy lifting for the wafer layer with a little Crisp Waffle to, well, crisp it up. The Biscuit is there to DAAP it up a bit and support everything.

The chocolate: The Chocolate Frosting worked really great in this recipe. It was pretty spot on and had a nice texture. The Chocolate Deutsch gives it a little extra depth and I think it plays pretty well with the coconuts.

The pandan cream: While discussing pandan we ended up describing it as a weird vanilla with a little bit of grassy and coconut notes. Lemon Grass really sold that grassy note without being too weird, the coconuts and Marshmallow Vanilla did a bit of multitasking and brought the rest of it in where it needed to be. These added the bit of vanilla it needed along with the creaminess and delicious coconut notes.

I'm really in love with this mix and I hope you enjoy! Big shout out to WolfWheeler for the major assist!
