This recipe is a Work In Progress.

It might be amazing, but its creator doesn't think it's finished yet.

Working off the first BETA release, the common consensus was that that introduction of the deeper, darker, more "matured" flavor, hindered the great aspects of the original Obsidian. The French Pipe seemed to be the biggest issue, especially after steeping. I needed to find a way to bridge the sweeter cookie notes to the darker tobacco, while keeping that luxurious RY4 finish. After a lot of tweaking, I found that replacing the Butterscotch with Smoked Butterscotch, and French Pipe for Tatanka - provides that case.

I'm curious as to your notes on this and would love any feedback. I still want "darker" undertones, I want smokier flavor, and I may even add some ash. But I think this is a much better improvement over the first BETA.

Pretty much spot on my new fav for an RY4, nice job! Using FLV Tatanka is always a win for me :)

Quite a complex flavour. I get Alien Visions Bobas Bounty vibe from this. Vaping at 40Watts 0.2ohms dual SS coil 12mg Nic. I get a mellow subtle creamy raisin flavour on the exhale with a slight ashy flavour. On the tongue it's sweet but not overpowering. A great vape that will leave your room smelling like a humidor. Edit - After a few days steeping the rasin flavour has blended into the mix and mellowed down.

Just my thought on this ........I have made a few changes to my own personal versions keeping the Flavorah cookie dough from the original and adding flavorah graham cracker In place of (FW) pie crust. to enhance the cookie dough .I enjoyed the cookie aspect of Obsidian however I do like your new additions of adding Flavorah cured tobacco , jungle flavors ry4 and Flavorah raisin rum In the Obsidian gold beta version I get your wanting darker undertones and a little ash only Flavorah Kentucky blend will offer @ low percentages or even (FA) Vape wizard could work In that department but to alot of Fans of the Original OG Obsidian Including myself In your Beta recipe was the lack of "Cookie dough" texture and flavor since that Is what the main goal of Obsidian " Cookie dough RY4" forgive me If I don't make any sense It's 3:15 AM in the morning ...And I can't give you any ratings on this recipe since I don't have (FE) RY4 and Flavorah smoked butterscotch so until then .

OK ... and I am not a tobacco guy so I will keep it short and sweet. I get a tobacco, interwoven with a golden honey, it seems bright , present, .... not a dirty ashy tobacco but it is like walking into a cigar humidor and getting a big whiff of bright sweet golden aromas.... sweet bright honey, ..... that is my take. I took it to work and vaped it all day. People around me liked the aroma...... you get the 5 star........
