Holy shit, that's tasty! I can't believe this is a live mixing recipe. “White bread drenched in vanilla custard” - that’s exactly what it tastes and even feels like, that texture is on point. There are some interesting surprises here. The banana from the banana nut bread isn’t coming through, but it seems to be doing something to the custard, giving it an added layer of richness. The spice notes in the banana nut bread are light, but they are coming though, and making it interesting. The vanilla notes are prominent, which is surprising for me with just 2% each Bavarian Cream and FA Custard Premium providing them. That might be a promising combo for vanilla custard. I love this recipe just the way it is. I loved it so much, it was hard to put it down and try something else. But, if I were going to change something about it, I’d just use a little less Super Sweet and add in a tiny bit more spice, maybe like 0.1% FLV Rich Cinnamon or some of that CAP Cinnamon Sugar.
