This recipe is a Work In Progress.

It might be amazing, but its creator doesn't think it's finished yet.

Inspired by Mixin Vixens challenge week 23

I wanted to move away from the expected with this recipe, and I was intrigued by a recipe on a cocktail recipe site that used almond and stone fruit liquor with pineapple juice, a flavor combo I have never tried in real life. It is much less expensive to try it in a vape first, and it really works! Not too sweet and a real change of pace from the typical pineapple vape.

I used VT Creaming Soda as the beverage base and punched it up with two pineapples, FLV and INW. I tried several almond flavors, and settled on the clean FA Almond. I did not want to add more brightness with the stone fruits, so I chose FA Apricot.

Tested on a Pixie, 0.38 ohm, 40 watts

Man, that’s good, I feel like I’m sitting on an exotic beach somewhere. What really intrigued and drew me to trying this recipe was the little bit of FA Almond, but I also love the combination of vanilla and pineapple. The result is very different in a very good way. Very flavorful, full spectrum of interesting flavors. Smooth and sweet. Never tried almond with pineapple in a vape or in a drink or food, but I love it and will be doing it again, or just mixing more of this. I can pick it out but also the way it plays off the pineapple makes the pineapple seem more ripe and juicy. The pineapple isn’t harsh and mixing some FLV PIneapple in with the INW gives it some body, which combines with the sweet and vanilla body. I can barely pick out the apricot here behind the pineapple but it does seem like something would be missing there without it, and it wouldn’t be the same if it were a peach or TFA Nectarine or something.
