My first goal was to create a simple but delicious custard base consisting of three vanilla flavours and my second goal was to add just one more flavour to this base. Of course you can add more flavours to these recipes, but I wanted to create great recipes with as few flavours as possible with my custard base. With the variety of recipes, there should be something for everyone.
If you want to try out your own flavours with the pudding base, start with a low dosage so as not to overwhelm the pudding base. Of course, everyone has different tastes, and if you don't like the dosage of the extra flavouring, you can dose it higher or lower, but I would leave the base as it is.
I've opted for a default of 0.5% FW sweetener in the recipes, but just see how you like it best. Depending on how sweet you like it, you can increase or decrease the sweetener.
Here on the main page is the pure base recipe, which tastes good without additional flavourings, but the base really comes into its own with additional flavourings. The basic recipe is the canvas, so to speak, which becomes a picture with additional flavourings. I will be publishing more dessert recipes based on my basic recipe in the future. Have fun with it.
