This recipe should not be an insult to God and has nothing to do with it. In my childhood, my mother always made Gods Food (in Swiss German: Götterschpys, in German: Götterspeise). In a bowl, she has always added a layer of rusk (Graham Cracker Clear), a layer of rhubarb compote and a layer of fine vanilla cream on top of each other until the bowl was full.
I have now tried to replicate this fine dessert in a liquid and I think I have succeeded very well.
If you like rhubarb, vanilla cream and rusks, you should try this liquid recipe immediately.
