Profile: Creamy vanilla rice pudding with a hint of cardamom
Quote @Zany: "Unlike Traditional Chinese Medicine - This will actually make you erect!"
We wanted to make a delicious rice pudding with hints of spices and vanilla without actually making it too thick and disgusting.
@Zany aka. Dico and I sat down and looked over which flavors we had that would fit such a profile.
The very first version contained VT Thai Sticky Rice, FM Pistachio, VT Yoghurt Drink, FLV Vanilla Pudding and TFA Whipped Cream.
To begin with, we only had VT Thai Sticky Rice on the table for the rice base, but we kinda figured out that it wasn’t enough rice so we introduced FE Sweet Rice to the mix.
At some point, we also had FM Pistachio in the mix, but the more we huffed and puffed, the more we kinda figured that it didn’t really quite fit in for what we were going for.
Pretty early in, it was decided that FA Cardamom would maybe be an awesome addition, so it was added. It somehow didn’t clash very well with VT Yoghurt drink, which also were just kinda weird, so we scrapped VT Yoghurt Drink early on.
Final addition to the line-up was FLV Sweet Coconut and it all just fell into place.
Concerning the taste of this mix, it’s not overly strong on the rice taste as VT Thai Sticky Rice comes with a hint of a spice note. It’s there to add some depth in the mix.
In combination with some notes of vanilla, coconut, a little cream to bind it all together and a wonderful warm and round taste of cardamom as a finisher, it’s a twirl of flavors that dances in your gob.
Please do let it sit for about 5 days to let it all blend in nicely together.

A creamy rich Banana Custard tart with Butterscotch and a hint of Vanilla . For the base i used TPA Pie Crust with INW Biscuit . I also added a touch of VT Butter Base for a richer buttery taste and to add mouthfeel to the recipe . VT Banana Custard has become a real favourite of mine . I do find that in bakeries the Banana can seem quite weak and so i have added some FLV Banana to help push it more to the front . I have added FA Custard Premium and FLV Vanilla Pudding to increase texture and mouthfeel . The Vanilla Pudding also helps with vanilla notes . I have added sweetener but this is optional depending on personal preference
Country Apple/Fuji serve as the apple in this pie. Cookie FA/Cookie FLV serve as our crust. The creamy filling comes from Vanilla pudding and whipped cream. Eggnog is serving as our spice (I can't vape cinnamon so if you can feel free to replace this with a low percent of your favorite cinnamon). Super Sweet to make it sweet ...
There's this incredible juice I love called Kookie Krunch, and when I stopped vaping pre-made juice it was the first recipe I wanted to recreate. This one is so close to the mark, that I actually like it better than the original. It's that cookie cereal I loved put into a bottle. Take it for a test run and maybe you'll find you love it just as much as I do. This is one of my ADV, maybe it will be yours.
There are days when you want to get lost in white fluffy clouds and forget that the rest of the world exists. This recipe is my version of getting away from it all. Delicious vanilla clouds, sweet, rich and waiting for you to indulge in a little hidden paradise. These flavors may seem high in percentage, but they work extremely well. Take a jump into a cloud and enjoy the sensation of your mouth being filled with heaven. The hype is real, try it for yourself.
Diy Downunder Flavorah mixing challenge- dessert.
Cavendish- nice pipe tobacco with cherry notes that goes well with the berries.
Blueberry muffin- main berry but not much of a muffin.
Boysenberry- to boost the blueberry.
Raisin rum- to darken and add a little warmth to the berries
Coconut- to add butter to vanilla pudding.
Poundcake- for a little bit more texture and cakiness.
White chocolate- a little bit more butter and sweet chocolate drizzle doesn't kill anyone!
Hope you enjoy!
