Paw Paw Pie (Dismal Pie)
Paw Paws are a strange sort of fruit called a custard apple. It works wonderfully as a non-descript soft tropical flavor. It also makes great desserts (although I've seen it paired with fish before). It's creamy with a raw/ earthy sweet flavor. This is not a pastry sort of pie but more like a fruity custard pie in a graham cracker crust that was hand pressed with butter and sugar into the pan.

It's the wrong time of year for this fruit that naturally grows in the American Applachia as it's far too DISMAL outside ;).

Notes:
VT Paw paw is nearly spot on for a real paw paw but far too soft so in order to bring it forward and make it a richer flavor over the creamy bit of the pie I brought in it's incomplete cousins to bolster it: Flv mango and wf cherimoya. The mango is sweet and bright whereas the cherimoya brings the rind and edge of the fruit with a slight bit of pineapple sweetness. To keep the smooth creamy flavor/texture a touch of flv vanilla pudding was used.

The crust is mostly flv graham cracker for the crust with a tiny bit of TPA CC (graham crust) that ties it in with the paw paw rather than sitting completely separate from the rest of the pie.

I loved Fresh's Shake and Vape Custard and wanted to see if I could do one with TPA's new custard. This worked out great!

Mixers club: March 2020. The ice cream man @eyemakepizza is about to be a father. To toast this, I've mixed a pink "milk".

Pink here is a true amalgamation of flavors. INW cherry and INW shisha strawberry are both syrupy by nature, and the FA red touch is helping reinforce the strawberry to stand up along side the cherry. Pushing past that CAP sweet guava helps crank this otherwise pedestrian fruit combo into an oddly tasty medley of red fruits.

Pudding in this case is pretty cut and dry with FLV vanilla pudding and INW custard sharing the duties while FLV smooth vanilla helps cut through the fruit with a sweet soft vanilla.

Special shout out to @rainbowdragon for helping with the art(okay, that's selling her efforts short, she did all the work) in this month's series of MC recipes.

Today on SaturDIY'ing with fresh03 and Friends! We are doing a Wishing Well: Doctors Without Borders! Echodub asked me for an apricot pastry and here in France, we have one called Oranais which is a beautiful fluffy pastry with a bed of crème pâtissière and gorgeous apricot with a sweet glaze and powdered sugar.

FA Armenia/FLV Persimmon = the beautiful apricot that is yellow and sweet.

FA Custard Premium/Vanilla Ice Cream/FLV Vanilla pudding/CAP French Vanilla = It's fresh's quick custard a little tweaked to be a little eggier and with hat good spicy vanilla.

WF Croissant/WF Caramel Butter = The french viennoiserie fluffy pastry with a little brown baked goodness on top.

I hope you enjoy Echo, and everybody else!

Strawberry Custard with a hint of peanut butter cookie on the back end.

Sweeten to taste!

Simple Coconut Cream Pie

Made for my crazy ass girlfriend. Add whatever you'd like

Somebody asked me for a vanilla custard pie vape for a pod/MTL set-up, so here's another quickie! With the confinement, people can't buy vaping products on my island, so I'm trying to help.

It's Fresh's quick custard with my favorite graham cracker in it. The Sugar cookie brings more crust.

Many thanks to @Fresh03.

This should work in a pod/MTL set-up at 50VG/50PG, but you can easily vape it in a sub-ohm tank or RTA/RDA at 70VG/30PG

Enjoy, be queer and vape on!

This is an "instant" style pudding and if you like pistachio, it will put a smile on your face. I've been going thru bottles like I'm drinking the juice.

Sweeten to your liking.

VG/PG: 70/30

Steep: 3-5 days (it's very good right after mixing)

Developed in the Reload S RDA with N80 (quad core fused clapton) around 0.3 ohms at 40-60 watts.

If you mix it, please leave a review.

I don’t know about you guys but I’m getting a little tired of the heavy custard/desert profiles and have had a real hankering for something light, bright and a little on the fruity side. I designed this recipe with the intentions of it being a S&V and free of any extra sweetener however I did give in to temptation and add 0.25% CAP Super Sweet and found it absolutely delicious so if you do like that added sweetness then I would recommend as above,it doesn’t need it though IMO. The profile to this recipe is a banana and blueberries blending with a light coconut cream. If you enjoy this recipe and my work please be so kind to leave a short review and rating on said recipe so that other mixers can see. Happy mixing guys and gals and stay hazey 😉💙

This Apple Pie was created for PI day and especially for the second year start of the PI Network Project a project that started one year ago with the help of some briljant PhD's of Stanford's University. Visit their FB page https://www.facebook.com/PiCoreTeam/

I wanted this to be a real celebration pie, a recipe crafted with some of the best aromas available to the vape community.

The cask
FA Apple Pie and FLV Graham Cracker makes a lovely pastry.
