"THE LAST DRAGON"
Based on Jamaican Sorrel Drink(which I make weekly!), this spicy & cool drink was only fitting to honor the exquisiteness of our beloved Drogon.
These are all the ingredients of the delicious & unique Christmas-time Jamaican Sorrel Drink.
Traditional Jamaican Sorrel uses actual Jamaican Sorrel(their native hibiscus) which can be purchased in any shop that sells Jamaican products. There is very little difference in flavor between American & Jamaican hibiscus in my opinion. The American type is much easier and cheaper to get ahold of.
Occasionally, I will add about 1/8 cup of Jamaican Rhum to mine(also traditional in Jamaican culture). I did not add it here, because frankly-I add so little that I can barely even taste it(I've never really enjoyed the effects of alcohol).
In the real life recipe that I will include after all my notes, I include rum measurement.
FLV LIME WEDGE is the ONLY freshly 'chopped' lime flavoring that compares to the real thing. Lime Cold Pressed, etc., does NOT mimic the taste of fresh chopped lime with these particular concentrates. Sorry. This flavoring is potent as hell, so one 15ml(or 10ml) bottle will likely last you at least a year!
CAP HIBISCUS was the only match for the flavor of dried Hibiscus buds that I usually order from Nuts(dot)com. I am only mentioning that site because it's the best bargain if you want to make the real life recipe. I've tried all other concentrates and they were pretty nasty here.
For my cracked pimento(called 'allspice' here in the States), I utilized CAP PUMPKIN PIE SPICE. TFA's version didn't even compare. I also buy my whole pimentos from Nuts(dot)com and crack them myself. Our powdered allspice in the supermarkets is pitiful in comparison.
I used only 1 drop of **FLV RICH CINNAMON per 20-30ml eliquid here. You don't want it to overpower anything...but you definitely want it flexing its' muscle.
VT GINGER ROOT is the key to getting this just right. In the real drink, I use anywhere from 1/4-1/3 cup of fresh peeled ginger root(depending on how much bite I want my sorrel to have). VT's version of Ginger Root is the most accurate. I even went as far as purchasing NF's ginger to try out(it was very close...but not a perfect fit & had an indescribable off note when mixed with these specific concentrates). And again...if you are making the real life recipe below? Powdered Ginger from your spice rack will not work. At all. Just don't do it.
WS-23 is not listed in the above recipe but was used at 2 drops per 20-30ml eliquid.
FLV SWEETNESS was used at a high 1.25% to mimic the sugar syrup added to sorrel drink.
STEEP:SNV-3 DAYS(I usually SNV it)
As always, I humbly ask that you don't produce this for commercial gain, as it was shared in good faith. And if you like this please rate it. Your ratings are the only way us mixers know if we are doing a good job or not. Thanks so much & enjoy!
I will include the recipe for this delicious drink below for anyone that wants to try it out. With the real drink, the longer you steep-the stronger the hibiscus flavor. I usually steep mine anywhere from 4 hours to 24 hours(it depends on my level of patience!).
Jamaican Sorrel Drink:
•2 cups Dried Hibiscus Flowers
•1 finely chopped peeled fresh lime(I pulse mine in a food processor)
•1/4-1/3 cup fresh ginger(peeled), chopped fine(I pulse with a food processor)
•1 1/2 to 2 teaspoons of cinnamon sugar or 1 cinnamon stick
•4-6 Cracked Pimento(I usually place between paper towels and give them one good whack with a hammer. You dont want them crushed, like allspice powder--you just want to crack them open. These babies are potent).
•2 cups white sugar.
•2 cups of water
•10 cups water
•a fine sieve
•OPTIONAL: 1/8-1/4 cup Jamaican Rhum
Place dried hibiscus flowers, ginger, lime, cinnamon sugar & allspice in large bowl or large pot & set aside.
In one small pot, bring 2 cups of water & 2 cups of sugar to a boil and remove from heat. Allow this to cool. It will be a thick sugar syrup.
In large pot, bring 10 cups of water to a boil. Pour over hibiscus flower mixture and allow to steep at least 4 hours(if steeping overnight, place in refrigerator).
After steeped to your preference, stir sugar syrup(this is also when I add my rum) into mixture. Final mixture must be run through a fine sieve before being poured into a 1 gallon pitcher and chilled. A regular strainer will not work. If you can't wait until your sorrel drink gets cold(like me), serve over ice. I generally make mine at night, so I can enjoy a glass over ice before bed, knowing that by morning, my pitcher in the fridge will be perfectly chilled with no need of added ice cubes.
Trust me...you have never tried any drink like this. It is highly addictive!!
An exotic vape based on the 'Birds&Bees' cocktail.
In this refreshing recipe allot is going on to create a very tasteful vape , i used a berry blend, some rose essence and a touch of back bar bitters infused into juniper gin to create a delicate, aromatic sparkling wine cocktail vape.
The FLV Berry Blend pairs beautiful with the FLV Rose Essence, FLV Back Bar Bitters add a nice bitter touch and mixed with the FLV Juniper Gin and FLV Brut Bubble Wine and some FLV Honey Bee to bind the flavours and adding some sweetness. I added a little FLV Sweetness sweetener, i think this mix need some anyway.
The result is a complex juice experience that changes with every vape you take.
This mix balances from a flower(ish) fruity taste to a more sophisticated and tasteful bubble wine.
A very zen and exotic vape, soft, fruity and never boring. Perfect for the coming summer evenings.
Vapeable after a few days.
Been on the shelf for some time, as with most juices this one change for the better with longer steeps.
Smooth Moves (Tropical Smoothie)
Mmm… just one drag on my vaper, and I feel like I’m on a warm beach somewhere! This smoothie makes me FEEL like I’m somewhere on a tropical island. A man can dream, right?
If there was ever a smoothie vape that tasted like summer, this one is it for me. I’m calling it “tropical” because this smoothie mix is based on the wonderfully new flavour from Flavorah 'FLV Smoothie Base' and is packed with bold and flavourful fruits and a little sweet cream.
• FLV Smoothie Base, a slightly lemon-ish fruit smoothie base, a perfect base to start with as the main building block for this smoothie recipe.
• FLV Banana, fresh candy like taste at the early days of steep, once steeped out it grows to a fully ripe banana.
• FVL Blood Orange, a sweet orange with a slight flesh hint and some juiciness to it.
• FLV Honeydew, It's a great honeydew flavour with a sun ripe melon, very smooth and bold giving the recipe a light with a soft rind aroma. Perfect in this mix.
• FLV Jackfruit, has ripe melon-like notes with a tropical punch baseline, it taste like a pineapple without been a pineapple.
• FLV Sweet Cream, milky with a hint of coconut milk, a milk note that perfectly adds creaminess to the whole recipe. The cream will bring out the smoothie taste even more.
• FLV Wild Melon, a candy-like melon flavour with a tropical pallet, perfectly for this recipe, use in small quantities because its a strong aroma!
• FLV Sweetness, is a flavourless sweetness enhancer. It will not gunk coils like other sweeteners.
Steep: 4 to 7 day's to blend the aromas, 14 day's or more and it just get smoother and seems to change into a fuller and smoother and rich smoothie.
Been on the shelf for almost 2 months, no degradation in taste.
Start your day by vaping this delicious tropical smoothie mix.
This is my al-day vape for weeks now, really wanted to share this.
Something so weird and so delicious. This is my version of a commercial profile that I find absolutely disgusting. I knew that I could make the profile delicious.
Candied yams with a smidgen of cinnamon, drizzled in strawberry syrup with a bit of marshmallows and cookie.
I tried a few Yams and they were all mostly nasty with horrible off notes to me. FLV was pretty good but it tasted really raw and starchy but wasn't disgusting and no off notes. I knew that I needed something to warm it up and sort of cook it so using Rich cinnamon used super low achieved that first try. The Capella Sugar Cookie helps it out a bit here as the generic bakery kind of slides under as a base and fill it out. Sugar Cookie may not be the best but it's a phenomenal tool when used to build a bakery base.
I shamelessly stole ID10-T's marshmallow idea from a lucky charms cereal and it fit very well here. FLV Marshmallow and FLV Whipped Cream.
Then I tested strawberries in pairs. About 6 different iterations. RF, TFA Ripe, JF Sweet, INW Shisha, and then Capella released Ripe Strawberries. I was looking for something Ripe and syrupy kind of generic sweet red berry sauce that blended in. Shisha because... yeah... it's straight strawberry syrup. Capella because it brings that fairly authentic sweetened macerated strawberry thing. I love this new flavor.
Balance was the trickiest part once I nailed down the ingredients.. I wanted something slightly separated that started with sweet cooked yams and finished with the berries and nuances to keep you wanting to come back to it. If you mix it up please leave a review if you're a member and able to. If you want to play with subs, the cookie and strawberries leave some wiggle room for tweaking to your favorites. The yam, marshmallow, whipped cream, and rich cinnamon are not able to be substituted. That candied yam base is a thing of beauty.
So my dog is named Kiki and this made me think of the black culture inspired Kiki balls that started a vogue magazine styled trend of events with dancing, kicking back and gossiping. If you are curious, check-out the trailer of the documentary called Kiki:
FLV Persimmon/FA Apricot/MB Peach Nectar= derived from the @Leilani maneuver for a good peach juice.
FLV Ginger Peach/FA Jamaica Special= Here for the spice and the darkness and also to make this a cocktail.
FLV Lemon Tea= does a good job at ice tea.
Enjoy, be queer & vape on !

I have been on the hunt to find a juice that tastes like the Pink Nesquik. After a couple of misses trying to mix this I think I have finally gotten close. I still want to try and swop out the TFA Vanilla Custard with FA Custard Premium to see if it creates a more mouthful of creaminess when paired with the creams. I have dropped the Malted milk down to 2.5 where it was previously at 4, it can be a bit overwhelming at such a high percentage.
I have mixed this at 70/30 and let it steep for about a week and it tasted amazing. I then left it to steep one more week and OMG, I cannot put down my Vape. This is definitely a winner, although I feel it can still be tweaked slightly to make it even more amazing. Maybe a V2 on the way
Absolutely delicious Cranberry Butter Pecan Pie, runner-up in a competition between Dutch&Belgian mixers organized by Lynn who runs a FB page (Reviews 评论 Just a 只是 Lady 女士) that reviews commercial juices on a daily base. Interested? have a look at https://www.facebook.com/groups/726584030815474/
For the pie base is used FA Apple Pie mixed with WF Butter Pecan Pie.
I love the filling made of FLV Cranberry and FA Custard Premium.
