It wasn't my intention to create an accurate Cola eJuice. My main goal was to create something special with Flavorahs root beer. I made some experiments with different and unusual FLV flavor combinations. Root beer and citrus soda was a very interesting combination and I remembered that one day I made a note, that root beer might fit very well with an orange flavor. I tried Blood Orange and it was a wonderful addition, but by adding »Rich Cinnamon«, I finally reached the next and final level of my mix. Honestly I didn’t expect the root beer turning in this direction, but at the end, I‘m more than happy with the result and I hope you‘ll enjoy it as much as I do.

A unique take on an old profile, 60 Hz is a syrupy strawberry custard with the kiss of sweet honey.

Strawberry mutes rejoice (I'm not one of them, but I wanted this recipe to be accessible). The three strawberries here should, in theory, present themselves to even those who have a hard time detecting strawberry in mixes. FLV Alpine Strawberry, WF Strawberry (Baked), and JF Sweet Strawberry bring a deep, dark strawberry to the fold. Strawberry (Baked), with its honey backend also serves as the secret ingredient in the mix.

TPA Vanilla Custard II is a fantastic new-ish vanilla custard. It rivals the boring ass original TPA Vanilla Custard with more body....well more everything. CAP NYC is in here to bolster that creaminess. It serves a place in almost all creamy/custard mixes. FLV Rich Cinnamon morphs the custard with a slight spicy warmness.

Let this one steep a couple weeks. The honey takes the forefront and kills the custard notes until then.

Here is a Christmas Treat for you.
Mjuk Pepparkaka Translates directly from Swedish into "Soft Pepper Cookie".
I never really got that as there is no pepper in the cookies.
It is basically gingerbread cookies, but in Sweden we beside ginger have the trio of cinnamon, clove and cardamom in there.
The vanilla pudding is for the mouthfeel.
Vanilla Buttercream Frosting is for more vanilla and a layer of frosting on top.
The Lava Cake does not really introduce any chocolate here.
It plays the roll of Dark Syrup and does that beautifully.

Again steep overnight and it is good to go.
The ginger is a bit to prominent for the real Swedish feel but mellows out a bit with time.

What was I thinking! I actually put a lot of thought into this and decided upon something that would fit the season, but would be just as tasty served ice cold. After a lot of brainstorming, I chose a delicious creamy yam and avocado smoothie with a touch of citrus, dusted with cinnamon.

My first step was to make a rich and creamy citrusy smoothie base. My obvious first choice was FLV Smoothie Base as it brings just the right amount of citrus with it. To thicken it up some, increase the richness and support the citrus note, I added FLV Avocado. Something was still missing, a bit of sweetness and a twist of flavor, which is why I added FLV Sweet Coconut to my smoothie base. After a nice steep (14 days), it‘s really a mouthful!

Now on to the yam, the star of the smoothie. It obviously had to be FLV Yam. I hadn’t worked with it beforehand, but I‘m glad I finally did. It has a very natural sweet taste to me and I wanted to soften it up some, kind of like that pumpkin goo that comes in cans. I (think) I achieved this by adding FLV Marshmallow and FLV Cream (inspired by kindground‘s cooked yam). Last, but not least, the slightest touch of FLV Rich Cinnamon was added to act as a spicy counterpart to the citrus note.

All in all, I really enjoy it as does my SO. It plays very well with clove, nutmeg and ginger variations. I‘m thinking of maybe introducing a fruit like fig or persimmon, but that lies in the future.

A shout out goes to the beautiful Gloria Gaynor, whose music inspired this title and served as a wonderful companion growing up. Every Saturday, you‘d find me hanging out at the roller rink with friends, skating, playing air hockey and asteroids and listening to tunes of the 70‘s and 80‘s.

A second shout out goes to our great DIY community, without whom I would have never come this far. You are the best!

If you happen to have the flavors in your stash, I‘d be happy if you‘d give it a try.

In honor of the Vape Rally today in DC, we decided to make mixes based on Washington DC. The Korean War Veterans Memorial stuck out to me, so I decided to venture down Korean desserts. There is a dessert style tea that is found during festivities as well as being drank to help digestion due to the ginger. The tea is called Sujeonggwa. It is a tea made with ginger, dried persimmon, and cinnamon. Normally fairly sweet as well. This is a simple mix, trying to replicate a long boil/steep with the spices, so they are a little stronger, while still holding the sweetness of Persimmon plus sugar. Give it a go! The rich cinnamon is at ONE drop per 30mL

This is it guys, the bakery cinnamon. Look no further. Use it like you would cinnamon in the culinary world.
It is a tad steep at $12.50/15ml, but it is well worth it. Not only is it the best bakery cinnamon available, it is super concentrated; you won't be using this one any higher than 0.5%. I've found this to add the perfect accent to a bakery as low as 0.15%, and makes for a great flavorful cinnamon kick at 0.3%. What I find particularly awesome about this flavoring its range. Keep in mind though, if you want to bring it way up for a spicy, red-hot cinnamon, you may want a different cinnamon since this one gets pretty dry for me over 0.75%, but the dryness does calm down after some steep time.
It is kind of hard to work with as is, so making a dilution of this one (10% FLV Rich Cinnamon:90% PG) may make it easier to handle.
