This recipe delivers the Strawberry some folks have a hard time tasting, Alpine is just one of a kind, Hibiscus added to it bumps it up, maybe to much Strawberry for some, but it's good to me with the added banana and pineapple to calm it down just a little.... If you got the flavors, give it a try, it's a keeper !!
Okay another entry for the flavor-pro year in mixing week 19 - this one has a serano chili in it but of course I don't have that so I am switching in hibiscus and ginger - then it is rum, lemon, cherries (this is why I picked this one - I love cherry crush), mint, soda and sugar. My Jamaican rum is from vape wild which I don't see here so put FW. Maybe I won't get flavors from them again?
And yet again the weather calls for snow this weekend - I am so wanting warm weather and nothing says summer to me like an ice tea blended juice beverages. So this is my take on one of my favorites. A Rooibos, Ginger, fruit and mint Iced Tea. Rooibos is not actually a tea leaf but an herb native to South Africa and when harvested and dried can be brewed into a reddish-brown herbal infusion. Some of the flavors that you can get from it are sweet, woody, grassy, vanilla, floral, geranium, honey, herbal and caramel
I used the Red tea from FLV for the Roobios tea base. That is what I get from the red tea a pretty accurate Roobios tea.
FLV hibiscus, brings the fruit and the tea together and adds a slight citrus note to this mix.
Then I wanted to add some bright fruit top notes to infuse with the tea. - FA white peach and VT shisha peach - which is a pretty solid full ripe yellow peach. . (A dash of lemon/ lemonade is also a nice addition but at a very low percent)
The ginger is a nice spcie / earthy base note .
The golden syrup provides that sweet honey mouth feel.
The dash of artic mint provides that hint of mint with cooling on the exhale barely noticeable.
Sweetner if you want - I like a sweet tea
This benefits from a steep for these flavors to blend together to make a fruit tea infusion beverage 5 - 7 days
To me this tastes just like the Tazo Passion Tea you can get at Starbucks. It does need a few days steep for all the flavors to marry well. This one Mixin Vixens recipe of the month
*I diluted FLV Rich Cinnamon to a 10% dilution and used 0.25% as it is a VERY strong flavor and I needed the slightest hint of cinnamon to make this taste like this particular tea... but you can omit it if you don't have/like it.
I wanted to make something different and out of my comfort zone. So I thought this might be a good recipe to try. I have always loved a nice Blueberry hibiscus tea, but don't care for a tea vape. So I decided to make a nice smoothie out of this.
FW Blueberry- The best and most Authentic Blueberry that I have Found and brings a nice sweet Blueberry flavor.
FLV Hibiscus - This is the Best Hibiscus I've tried and it tastes so good mixed with Blueberry. It has nice Floral notes but not too overpowering at .75%.
FA Black Currant- I can't say enough Good things About this flavor. It pairs well in so many recipes and brings a nice spicy tart finish to any recipe while providing a unique Flavor.
Cap Golden Pineapple- I Just love This flavor as it taste like fresh canned Dole pineapples. This pairs really well with the cocunut and the Black Currant really making the flavor just a bit more astringent.
Flv Coconut - This is the Best Cocunut Flavor it's so good and authentic and goes great in this mix.
Cap Vanilla Whipped Cream- This makes it creamy and brings in a light Vanilla note and makes it a nice blended Smoothie.
Cap Supersweet is optional but adds the perfect amount of sweetness to this recipe.
This Recipe also pairs well with a nice mint bringing a cooling effect. I reccomend either Cap Cool Mint or Polar Blast at a .5%.
Best after a 5 day steep. Mixed at 60/4oPG.
Feedback would be appreciated. Thanks and Enjoy.
