Ok Christmas time love it or hate it you still can't help getting into the spirit it's when the coffee house's especially start competing with each other. They love bringing us limited edition seasonal beverages so why should us vapers miss out?? Then fear not let me introduce to you gingerbread latte. Forget the hustle and bustle and relax, slip on them slippers light that fire and take a moment out.
This flavour really does relax you it's something a little different it's warming and relaxing and it did take some development to create that perfect coffee flavour that alot of us struggle to create especially with the coffee aromas we have to work with.
BEFORE YOU CONTINUE THE COFFEE FLAVOUR IS JUNGLE FLAVORS CAPPUCCINO AND NOT FW CAPPUCCINO
This flavour is perfect here it just works it's definitely not an in your face coffee it's alot more mellow and doesn't leave that lingering burnt aroma and taste often found with other flavourings. It's creamy malty present is something that fits the bill when wanting a latte. It's not a strong flavour and 4% works well for the Base without overpowering or allowing other flavours to mute it.
Capella did a good job with this flavour it does get weird if you go to high but here it blends well and gives the coffee that ginger syrup we are looking for. It is basically a bakery but it disguises itself very well and mimmicks what it intended to. It's not over spicy and it takes on that seasonal aroma....perfect!!!
Fa creme fresh/ capella French vanilla
These 2 is the milk the latte in harmony they work together very well they make an excellent milky Base. You have the freshness of the cream and the French vanilla adds some additional creamer.
Who doesn't like marshmallow imagine this is the froth the creamy part on top of the latte it finishes of the cream flavours perfectly and acts like a glue between the coffee and cream.
Tfa brown sugar
It's there for sophistication if you have a posh coffee you don't dump white sugar in it.
Merry Christmas and enjoy xx
This is my entry for the beginner blending competition it's based on a delicious Strawberry yogurt topped of with a crunchy honey and apple granola with hints of cinnamon.
Tfa Strawberry ripe
I went heavy here to punch the flavour through its not a great Strawberry as a Standalone and acts more of a sweetener imo,but it is noticeable throughout the vape and blends well into the yogurt to form the Base flavour as what is a fantastic yogurt flavour. It won't shout out hey I'm Strawberry but it does add to that yogurt Base.
Again this is one of the chosen basket flavours so it had to be used. I wanted to use it in a way that doesn't allow it to be it's bakery elements so I went a small percentage here to just allow them cinnamon notes to shine through. It adds some added flavour to the cereal 27 without it overpowering and making it lead towards its bakery pastry flavour. It adds bite and a little spice to the topping without offending.
Again another basket ingredient this I used for the granola topping it's a strong flavour and works just about wherever you place it. It plays it part well and adds some added flavour to the cereal topping, an extra element. The honey from the FLV milk and honey kind of sweetens it up and combines well to give the apple a twist.
FLV milk and honey
I used this along side the yogurt it takes away some sourness from the Greek yogurt and the honey adds a twist to the apple and the cereal 27 giving both a more glazed effect kind of coating them with extra flavour. The honey works very well into crunchy cereal and apple.
Capella cereal 27
This is a great flavour to use for the crunchy flaky topping it's quite weak so 3% is a good point. It adds enough to the yogurt to replicate that granola topping it's toasted elements work really well especially with the honey unfortunately I could play further with this but the 6 flavours won't allow so this works fine in doing its job of a granola topping.
FLV Greek yogurt
This is an amazing yogurt flavour I was amazed when I found this flavour. It stands very well in what it does its creamy and thick with a slight sour profile you get from a Greek yogurt. It punches through the other flavours you know it's there 2% is a perfect amount. The milk combines very well and turns it more into a creamy yogurt we all enjoy.
Adding just 0.75% is completely necessary it adds some sweetness and brings down the sour note from the yogurt. It also rounds out the recipe.

So I wanted to create a perfect rhubarb and custard it really is one of my favourite desserts that sweet tart rhubarb and rich creamy custard really is the perfect combination. I did however put a slight twist on this simple dessert, I really like the outcome and I hope you do to.
From the first vape you get the rhubarb with that creamy custard but the banknotes of what I added give it fresh flavour. It really does leave you wanting more and more.
Cap Vanilla Custard v1
This is the king of custards you really don't need to be told here it's the perfect flavour the Base that forms the rest of the recipe. 4.5% was perfect in this recipe I didn't want it to custard heavy I wanted the rest of the flavours to shine through while the custard still played it's part without taking over.
I've only just got this flavour and boy was it worth the wait inawera really nailed this profile. It's crisp fresh bright maybe a little earthy maybe slightly sour but rhubarb is somewhat. Now this flavour is strong go to high and it completely takes over not in a good way it gets to bitter.0.5% is perfect it sits there nicely and does its told. You might think at such a low percentage it won't work but on the inhale it's the first flavour you notice and it lingers throughout which is where I wanted it.
FA Bergamot / FA mandarin
This is part of the twist alongside the ginger which we'll talk about later. The mandarin and bergamot work with the rhubarb they kind of infuse the rhubarb and take it to another level. The bergamot is the rhine of the Orange kind of a zest while the mandarin plays the juice it's a very bright sweet juices orange that creates that effect, a very natural orange. The rhubarb and orange combination works really well together you notice the notes deep into the recipe and I'm really glad I found this combination.
This again is a twist it goes well again with cooked rhubarb and it also works well and melds into the custard. It sits in the background and you'll notice the gingerbread in the exhale. It gets interesting without turning anything weird it really makes you want more. I really wanted an authentic ginger for this part but gingerbread was all I had it was a shot in the dark but it works and ties in the rhubarb and the custard.
FA Fresh Cream / FA Marshmallow / Tfa French Vanilla Creme
These 3 are the players for the custard mix you could probably get away with just using vanilla custard v1 and be done with but that's boring we want a custard with more depth. Let's add some fresh cream it's a great diary flavour that will cream up the custard without weighing it down but will add texture. We want an extra boost of vanilla in the custard like adding vanilla pods so let's add some French vanilla deluxe. It does what it says it's a pure vanilla yes it's got cream but who cares this will do the custard wonders. We have added vanilla but without adding any additional eggyness perfect! . The marshmallow is the glue it ties the custard together it adds some additional sweetness.
I feel it needs just 1% you don't cook rhubarb without adding sugar it's the magic that takes away the sharpness from the rhubarb. It just wouldn't work without it.
So there's the notes mix this up you won't regret it. There are various subs you can use to create a similar profile or you can really strip this recipe back and make a completely simple version.
I wanted to create a fruity simple vape with a slight creamy fizz to the whole experience basically something on the lines of a cream soda punch.
Tfa Juicy peach
I choose Tfa Juicy peach as I wanted this to be the main player in this recipe. I think it does this well in its profile granted it's not to everyone's taste basically down to its harshness that some experience but hopefully the obaoba calms it down I feel it does somewhat. Juicy peach just works for this recipe it's candy like profile suits the recipe it takes on that peach profile we are looking for here thus it's sweet has that candy like gummy sour profile and it's not to realistic so it doesn't fall away from the fun profile that it's participating in.
Capella sweet Strawberry
So with the peach taking the star role I wanted a fruit that sits side by side something that accompanies the peach and Strawberry does this very well. They play along with each other and this flavour is just noticeable in the exhale of the vape. Sweet Strawberry again is one Strawberry that suits the profile it's candy properties again work well in it not mimicking a natural Strawberry. The recipe requires some sweetness and this plays well. A natural Strawberry just wouldn't work remember this is a fun recipe.
This is this magic touch a fruit that you think shouldn't be there but along side the other fruits it kicks it in another direction. FA Fuji is a great flavour it works in whatever its trying to be whether a complicated recipe that requires dimension or as fun factor. It sits nicely at the rear just adding that tart apple after all that sweetness. It's bold and even at a small percentage it will tell you it's there. It definitely completes the whole experience.
Now the magic if it was just the 3 fruits it's still going to work but I felt it needed something. Like some sharpness or fizz not sweetener Yeah I could of added that and it will turn it up all that fruit needs a little sweetness but obaoba does that to a degree. It adds some citrus to it like some bite it tears through the fruits but it also comes across like a cream soda think like marshmallow but with some sparkle or fizz. It really is a magical ingredient and I'm glad I found it.
Steep time... Good as a shake and vape 2-3 calms the peach somewhat
Mix 70vg 30pg
This is a remix of the infamous circus cookie e liquid. It was created by 3 mixers including myself Aaron Vause and John N Jill Szollosi so credit has to go to all 3 of us.
Many a long night was spent creating this e liquid and finally after 8 versions between as all we came up with this finished version which all all agreed is very tasty.
Here are some notes.
FA cookie / cap sugar cookie / FW hazelnut
This created the cookie Base for the recipe we decided on cap sugar cookie for the main staple for the cookie but it does tend to hide behind other flavourings so needed some boost to make it shine. A small amount of fa cookie and FW hazelnut gives the cookie abit more weight and flavour and makes the cookie more enjoyable and noticeable on the exhale. Without the additions the exhale was somewhat lacking the texture of a hearty cookie.
Cap butter cream
This adds the butter cream into the cookie and rounds of what otherwise would be a dry biscuit flavour.
FA meringue / fa marshmallow / Tfa VBIC / fa joy
This creates the icing that you find on circus cookies and totally plays an important role in the recipe. We could of gone with loranns cream cheese icing but it tends to overpower and gives a waxy texture that seems to artificial. Adding meringue boosts the sweetness alongside adding weight to the marshmallow which is the star of the show. The VBIC combined with the meringue and marshmallow creates a perfect icing that totally works in conjunction with the cookie. FA joy is the magical addition that ties the icing together and creates the sprinkles over the icing.
INW shisha Strawberry
The recipe required a candy Strawberry flavour for the icing and after playing with capella sweet Strawberry it didn't cut the mustard and faded considerably with the other ingredients so after playing around with INW shisha Strawberry again a Strawberry known for its candy aspects we found it a bolder Strawberry that held its own against the other flavours and worked in its favour.
So imagine the experience you get that full on bold Strawberry inhale that turns into creamy icing with sprinkles that ignites buttery cookie. Perfect all day vape experience that will want you lusting for more.
Add sweetener should you wish
0.5% seems to be the sweet spot.

This is my remix of the popular UK e liquid lemon tart by dinner lady e liquids.
DIYorDIE Runner up recipe of the year!!!
This was a very long journey and i hope i've done some justice in attempting to copy it..... even if i did'nt ha i hope i've created a tasty lemon tart for you all to enjoy. I've managed to create its profile very well with sharp lemon curd followed by a creamy fluffy meringue finishing off with a buttery pastry crust.
FW Lemon meringue pie
I needed a profile to start with and this flavour seemed to work, its profile works very well with the other ingredients its lemon flavour is very bright and more forward and stronger than capellas offering. The meringue and pastry wasn't an issue at the time because i knew that could be worked on. The 3% was enough as a starting point without it taking over the recipe.
FA Lemon Sicily/Capella Juicy Lemon
This was the most tricky part of the recipe theres so many lemons to chose from it was a minefield and completely had my headspinning. I tried them all in various percentages and combinations. some were to authentic taking on a sour aspect that didn't suit the profile. I knew i already had a good lemon within the FW lemon meringue pie,but it wasn't bright enough. Everyone knows FA lemon sicily is a fantastic lemon so i had to use it. I pushed it to higher percentage because the lemon was the main profile of dinner lady lemon tart. It's vibrant and not sour and it really started to work in what i was trying to achieve. Again this was probably enough to complete the lemon profile but i was concerned overtime it might fade so another lemon i really liked and thought it would complement is capella juicy lemon. Adding a small percentage just built on each other creating a bolder lemon with some added sweetness and juice. They really work well together and that was the lemon complete.
FA Custard PI 3.14
I needed something to create the curd aspect i tried alot of variations and to this day this is one aspect that still bugs me and is something i'll go back to. However this seems my best option so it stays for the time being. It seems to work very well with combining with the lemons and the pie. Its not a heavy custard like capella vanilla custard which i did try and to some degree it works, but it does add vanilla which i didn't want in the recipe. Custard pi gives it that creamy curd feel and the custard also has citrus notes which is a win win and really works well into the lemons to create a kind of curd.
TFA Graham Cracker Clear/INW Biscuit/Capella Golden Butter
These 3 created the pastry base and worked excellent into the lemon meringue pie base. I love graham cracker clear and i think its in the original it lends to a nice creamy biscuit base and adding the biscuit at a lower percentage and the butter works its magic in creating a nice pastry filling.
We all now about this flavour it just works!!!! its in the original and it had to be in here. it's really forward in the original and pushing it to 1.5% is enough to give you that fluffy light mouthfull.
I added 0.75% mainly down to it being mainstream juice the original is sweet so why not,a little of whats good doesn't hurt . I also feel it tones down the lemons and turns them more into a cooked lemon rather than a sour fresh squeezed lemon. you can leave it out should you wish its still great without it.
TFA Bavarian Cream
I added this at a small percentage just to combine the whole recipe ,it also works well into the custard and lemons and hopefully ups the curd aspect aswell as adding a little glue to the recipe and not drying it out.
