This mix started out as a bourbon cream and ended up with us pouring some of your granddad’s “special drink” into a McDonald’s chocolate shake (on those rare occasions where their ice cream machine is actually working).

This mix was a collaboration between @Foment_Life and I on the DIY eJuice Discord

The first draft was 3% Bavarian Cream, 2.5% TFA Kentucky Bourbon, .1% FLV Rich Cinnamon, 1% FA Madagascar (Vanilla Classic), 2% VT Chocolate Mousse, and 1.5% TFA Marshmallow (but we both “oopsied” the marshmallow to about 1.8%).

We agreed that it already pretty much tasted like a McDonald’s shake, but wasn’t really what we were going for. We threw around a few ideas, and eventually landed on TFA Toasted Almond at 1.5%. This ended up adding a nice bit of smokiness that really helped sell the bourbon that was lacking a bit. The only problem, and maybe it was because I was dehydrated, but the mix started making my mouth super dry. We decided to let it sit a few days and see if the cream thickens up and helps out with the dryness.

A few people tested it out for us and really seemed to enjoy it, but we still thought it could be improved. We tried it after a few days steep and the cream really helped moisten the mix up. The dryness issue was pretty much eliminated. Really, the only thing that we thought could be improved was the bourbon. Unfortunately, I only had TFA Kentucky Bourbon to work with, but we both agreed that FLV Bourbon would be a good fit after Foment described it as a more woody/smokey bourbon than TFA Kentucky Bourbon. So Foment mixed up the new bottle and thought that was it. I added the FLV Bourbon to my cart, mixed it up, and fell in love.

Quick notes:
TFA Marshmallow, TFA Bavarian Cream, and VT Chocolate Mousse make up our chocolate milkshake base.

FA Madagascar (Vanilla Classic) is there to help bolster and add some richness to the chocolate.

TFA Kentucky Bourbon and FLV Bourbon are the secret ingredient.

And last but not least, the FLV Rich Cinnamon and TFA Toasted Almond are there to add some extra smokiness and spice to the booze.

Nothing is going to taste bad if you vape this early, however it does take about 7-10 days to reach its peak.

Simple 1-2-3 banana custard.

I wanted a simple shake and vape banana custard for when I’m feeling lazy and don’t want to wait on a long steep.

INW Custard is amazing and doesn’t require a steep, this was an obvious choice.

VT Banana Custard adds a realistic banana while bolstering the custard base

TFA Banana Cream was used to bring the custard and banana together. By itself, Banana Cream has a nice banana pudding flavor and it brought the other two flavors together nicely.

Can definitely be a SNV, but it does get better with a few days steep

The pineapple guava combo is just pure lust. On Lust Island they pour that sweet syrupy mix all over you and lick it off. Adding a little smoothie action never hurt anyone. Even a little prick(cactus) goes a long way here. Once you try it, you'll never want to leave Lust Island.

This was a collaboration between @humanpuck and I.

I don't what to say about "Summer Drink" that is not self-explained by its name. It is a super refreshing vape that is perfect for these hot Arizona days. The honeydew and lime combination works so well, and the peach fits perfectly into the mix. Definitely going to be a new ADV.

When I first was told about this recipe, I was all for it. Right off the bat you have white chocolate, yogurt, and lime. Sprinkled with some graham cracker, this recipe is absolutely amazing.

This is one of those recipes that delivers exactly what it says it was going to deliver. You get every layer and flavor promised.

INW Custard really is amazing. The fact that this recipe allows you to have an amazing custard as a SNV that only gets better with a few days steep is pretty amazing.

3 flavor masterpiece!

I really enjoyed this recipe and it is very true to its name. TFA Banana Nut Bread is obviously the star here and is actually a decent stand alone flavor. The only reason I rated this 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because I did not really see what 3% of CAP Sugar Cookie was doing for it. CAP Sugar Cookie is often used at higher percentages and for good reason. I think if it was either upped a bit percentage wise or replaced with something to add a bit more spice, this recipe would be even better. However, for a super quick and easy 3 ingredient recipe, this is definitely tasty.

This kiwi "cheesecake" is incredible. Easily a 5-star recipe for me. I tasted this as a SNV and then again after 3 days, and although it really is great off the shake, Id10-t was right in saying that it is even better after a few days steep. For only 9% total flavoring, the flavor you get from this is insane. FA Kiwi is a fantastic flavor and the FA Meringue balances it out very well. There is not really anything to compare it to since it really is not a cheesecake. The closest thing I can think of is a kiwi parfait without the yogurt.

This is now in my top 3 favorite recipes. When mixing at this low of an overall percentage, it is amazing how you can tell exactly what each individual flavor is doing for the recipe. EdibleMalfunction's Blueberry Trinity was the perfect choice for this recipe and paired perfectly with the ice cream and cheesecake.

I bought the actual drink from Starbucks before vaping this so I could compare the juice directly to the drink, and holy crap. It is about as close as you can get to recreating the actual drink in vape form. I added 1% WS-23 and .5% CAP SS, but I like my teas cold and sweet. For "normal" people, you probably don't need more than .25% sweetener, if any.

If I am being completely honest, I thought I would hate this. Breakfast vapes and peanut butter vapes have always been very off-putting to me, but I decided to give this a shot. I was very surprised to find that this was the first breakfast AND peanut butter recipe that I didn't hate. I vaped the entire 15ml bottle I made up and even made another one after that. It still is not my favorite profile and definitely not an ADV, but this definitely deserves 5 stars as I think people who like this type of profile to begin with will absolutely love it.

Wintermint Dream. That’s not a typo. If you’re a fan of shamrock shakes, then you have to mix this recipe. The cream and mint are perfectly balanced, and Foment_Life was right when he said that the cream knocks the high percentage of WS-23 down to a tolerable level.

I was actually working on a strawberry shortcake recipe when somebody told me about this one. It is very tasty and deserves a mix. The CAP golden butter does a good job at selling at the cake, but I still didn’t get enough. INW Shisha Strawberry and CAP Sweet Strawberry were the perfect choices for this mix. When I mix this again, I will probably try increasing the yellow cake to 4%

I’m a huge fan of mango and grape, so this was an easy mix for me to enjoy. Doubled with the fact that it’s a simple 1-2-3, makes it a 5-star recipe in my book.

Forest fruit was a good idea for this recipe. It offers a lot of flavor while only using one ingredient. Recipes for pods need to be simple and this executed on that premise very well. I was slightly weary of the .75% CAP SS as I have not been using a lot of sweetener lately and tend to use .5% or less when I do. However in this, it seems to really help bring out the sweetness that you’d expect from an ice cream. Well done

The 10ml sample I made didn’t even last 24 hours from when I started vaping it. I was lucky enough to try the cream base from this recipe before it was released. I can confirm that this base works very well with strawberries as well as pear. I imagine you can throw whatever fruit combo you want at it and it will be good. The combo of TFA Pear and FA Pear really stands out here with a little help from FA Fuji. FA Pear and FA Fuji add just the right amount of juiciness and TFA Pear seems to bring more of the actual pear flavor. Very good.

Cranberry Sprite? Maybe. Delicious? Definitely. It’s pretty much impossible to get real effervescence in vape form, but the combination of CAP Lemon Lime and VT Fizzy Sherbet does a pretty damn good job.
