Toasted Marshmallow squished onto a Graham Cracker and drizzled with Chocolate.
Was watching Wayne’s Let’s Mix video the other day and realised I’d never made a S’mores vape. Didn’t have FW GC so I left that out and tweaked his recipe slightly to get as close as possible to my ideal s’more.
If you want his exact recipe you’ll have to watch the vid as I don’t think it’s on ATF.
Anyways, I kept the FA Cookie, TFA GCC and AP the same as his, banking on it giving me enough Graham without using FW, which it does... just!
For the Marshmallow I opted for FW instead of FAs because it’s a more authentic artificial/gooey marshmallow flavour in my opinion. I love FAs but it wasn’t the type of Marshmallow I wanted to taste in this recipe.
I had to add some TFA Toasted Marshmallow to ‘toast’ the Marshmallow, gives a little diversity to it as well as the obvious toasted notes that I think helps the Cracker out a bit too.
Totally agree with the FW VBIC. Gives a bit more weight to the Marshmallow and very subtle vanilla, without smacking you in the face with it like TFAs.
Dropped the FA Meringue half a percent, so it’s an almost imperceptible sugary little accent.
I used the old INW Choc, but JFs would be fine in the same percentage. It’s not enough to scream Chocolate, but it’s there sitting nicely at the back end of the vape doing as it’s told.
Super Sweet to enhance the perception of chocolate. Adjust to preference.
And that’s that!
It’s still not what I would consider ‘perfect’, the only thing I think it’s lacking is the Graham Cracker. It’s there, underneath the ‘Mallows but it could do with a boost. The Marshmallow and Chocolate are spot on in my opinion though. Benefits from at least an overnight steep, more if you don’t enjoy fresher flavours.
Big thanks to Wayne for the base recipe to tweak from, legend as always! 👏
Simple, refreshing Lemonade.
Needed something different from the plethora of deserts and bakeries I usually vape. This definitely ticks the boxes!
The LA and FLV Lemonade combo works a treat. LAs is weaker, but more authentic, and FLVs reminds me of a lemon sherbet/ bon bon. It gives a more cloudy impression to the lemonade.
I added RF Cream Soda to thicken the mouthfeel and try to convey more bubbles.
FA Lemon Sicily, my favourite lemon, used for its beautiful fresh lemon authenticity.
INW Cactus at a low percentage really complements the lemon, just gives it a little juicy boost. The Super Sweet pushes everything forward and helps the sour notes hit the tongue more. It could probably be lowered slightly, though I wouldn’t go any higher.
I used a small amount of WS-3 for a cooling effect, without retarding the flavours as it does for me when used higher. The only trouble is it does fade over time.
I can see lots of ways to tinker with this, adding different fruits instead of the Lemon Sicily, just got some VT Fizzy Sherbet in too, which I’ll be swapping for the Cream Soda once I finish this batch, and I’ll update if necessary. But as it stands it’s damn addicting and true to the profile.
Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
Rose Milk only became available in the U.K. A month ago; needless to say I was eager to try it, but fully prepared to be disappointed after the amount of hype it got. Well, let me say I was not disappointed whatsoever! I loved it so much that I've vaped it constantly all month without getting bored; something that is extremely rare for me.
Decided to have a crack at a remix/clone as I can't justify ordering more when I've got all these flavours that need using!
We know 2 of the ingredients; those have been included but the rest is educated guess work.
I’d recently gotten hold of JF Sweet Strawberry and originally didn’t think there’d be enough diversity in the strawberries if I used this, but it had that Rosemilk quality so I used a reasonable amount and it seems to work. TFA Dragonfruit brightens and melds those strawberries beautifully, making them more ‘Rosemilk-y’.
I'd also put money on there being a good amount of CAP NY Cheesecake in there too, 4 % felt about right, prominent but not too much.
The CAP VCV1 was included solely because I remember Wayne saying there was a small amount in, otherwise I may have left it out.
Obligatory super sweet 😉
I’ve gotta say this is damn close in flavour and mouthfeel, 95% there if I had to put a number on it.
I would also encourage anyone that hasn’t tried the original to do so immediately! It’s not your ordinary Strawberries & Cream.
A very simple but tasty Vanilla Cola.
I pushed the FA Cola as far as I dared and gave it some FA Marzipan to push it further. INW Shisha Vanilla is fantastic, it’s strong enough to infuse the Cola with a lingering vanilla through the vape.
Super sweet to get closer to the sugary authenticity of a Cola, and WS-23 for the ice cool beverage effect.
Didn’t attempt to add any ‘Fizz’ type flavours as to my knowledge they don’t work too well and I didn’t want to risk ruining the flavour.
Fresh, Creamy, Blueberry Yoghurt.
Utilising Manson/Skiddlz' yogurt base, so credit to them for that!
I was very sceptical about using 4% FLV GY, that stuff smells gank; but oh boy does it taste good! It's thick and luxurious, excellent mouthfeel. Coupled with the FA FC/Yogurt it makes one of the best full bodied yoghurts in vaping.
Added a solid combo of Blueberries, a touch of Sucralose to round any sour edges and boost the blueberries and voila!
I prefer this as a S&V, the Bilberry isn't as strong off the bat in this recipe, but if you find it strong just let it sit for a couple of days.
Blueberry Cheesecake for the Weekend mixing assignment.
I actually made this up last weekend, gave it it's full week steep and tasted it. If this doesn't taste blue; I don't know what does!
There's no vanilla to distract from the blueberry. It's straight up blueberry and cheesecake.
The FA Bilberry and FW Blueberry combo make an intense, deep and authentic blueberry.
TFA CCG and CAP NY Cheesecake are staples in good cheesecake recipes, no reason for me to mess with that.
Some FLV Cream and FA Marshmallow to sweeten and give a fuller creamy vape.
FA Lemon Sicily brightens the blueberries, could up the sweetener a bit if desired, not finding it too sweet at 0.5, about right for me.
You get a realistic, ripe blueberry on top and throughout, with a thick creamy Cheesecake sitting underneath. Lovely fluffy mouthfeel too.
Definitely needs 5 day minimum steep; the Bilberry is very powerful at first, with little input from the creams to balance it out. A week is optimal.
Let me know what you think if you mix it 😉
A classic rhubarb crumble like Granny would make.
Nice tart Rhubarb, toned and sweetened with a touch of strawberry, sitting under a golden buttery crumble and finished with a dollop of vanilla cream.
CAP Sugar Cookie/JF Biscuit/ FA Butter - The perfect components to get a soft buttery crumble flavour with a little crunch. The butter can absolutely be swapped for TFA Butter. JF Biscuit is a softer, more buttery biscuit than it's INW cousin so a better choice in this recipe, though again can be subbed.
TFA Strawberry Ripe/ TFCC Rhubarb: The filling. TFCC Rhubarb is not all that strong in comparison to the well known companies, its best described as perfectly emulating a candied rhubarb sweet flavour. The strawberry helps to fill it out, sweeten and give it more of a stewed texture.
FA Cream Fresh/ TFA VBIC: Make a nice 'dollop' of cream to round the recipe off. VBIC adds just the right amount of creamy vanilla, while the Fresh Cream keeps it light and fluffy.
Add Sweetener to taste. I like 0.25% Super Sweet in this one.
My test subjects and I found it perfectly good to vape after 4 days, though this will vary dependant on the Rhubarb used. Rhubarbs usually need a bit of time to settle down so this is not a shake and vape unfortunately.
Really lovely after 2 weeks.
I will be trying the INW Rhubarb in this when I eventually get it in, and will update if I like it better. Feel free to experiment with the rhubarb, I realise most people are not going to have TFCC version as I've only seen it sold at MakeMyVape in the U.K, but it's the only one I have at the moment that I like.
DOD Mixing Assignment.
Banana Split Cake: Subtle Graham crust layered with soft bananas and strawberry cream, topped off with a chocolate dusting.
It was tricky trying to balance this recipe but I think I've done it justice. I wanted to keep the banana the main focus and build some gentle bakeries around it. I get a soft, ripe banana and a little graham on the inhale, the strawberry cream on the exhale with a hint of chocolate dusting right at the back.
EDIT: Adjusted Shisha Strawberry and Vanilla Whipped Cream slightly to keep the strawberry from getting lost in the cream. After 1 day the banana settles in nicely. Smooth and delicate desert vape.
Honestly can't stop vaping this right now.
Thoughts and comments welcome!
