The classic summer cocktail...juicy, refreshing and delicious!
This is my interpretation of the classic summer cocktail, Sex on the Beach, famous the world over for its ability to instantly put you in a good mood!
FW Blood orange and INW Orange Shisha creates an authentic, rind and all, fresh orange juice base. The Shisha orange adds the fresh orange punch and balances the inherent bitter notes in the blood orange.
Cap cranberry is used sparingly, as in the OG drink, to slightly lift the OJ to create a delicious melange.
The TPA Peach (Juicy) adds a touch of peach without overpowering and sits nicely in the background in a supporting role.
The INW Blackcurrant plays the part of Creme de Cassis in the OG recipe and adds the final layer of intrigue.
2 days and she’s ready to go!
A lusciously creamy yogurt Panna Cotta crested with fresh pomegranate rubies.
FA Pomegranate & Bilberry
A perfect interpretation of fresh pomegranate. The slight bitter notes, inherent to the fruit, sets it apart form TPA's sweeter version. The tartness here is well balanced by the sweetness to create an authentic, syrupy pomegranate syrup. The addition of a smidgen of FA Bilberry deepens the dark fruit layer and rounds the pomegranate off beautifully.
The principle character of the Panna Cotta is my new friend, JF Bavarian Cream. At 4.5%, it is an astounding bav cream and mimics a delicate custard with bright, ultra smooth, vanilla notes. The texture and creaminess on the exhale is phenomenal and replicates a traditional Panna Cotta with ease.
The CAP Creamy yogurt adds just a pinch of smooth yoghurt creaminess, whilst imparting the slightest yoghurt note to keep the Panna Cotta interesting.
INW Shisha boosts the authentic vanilla notes of the bav cream, resulting in a wonderfully vanilla forward panna cotta.
Give this baby at least 5 days to rest.
A delicious union of perfectly ripe tropical fruits.
This recipe is a homage to a fantastic blend available from the leading concentrate supplier in my neck of the woods. The owner has been vaping this for years and has never divulged the recipe to a living soul. After numerous requests, he finally released a one shot called Malao for the rest of society to experience this delicious combination. This is my interpretation of a remarkable juice.
The king of Papaya's at 3% is our hero in this tropical medley and marries beautifully with the rest of the fusion. It brings a delectable creamy mouth feel with the unmistakable, slightly bitter, true papaya flavour.
Cap Sweet Mango
At 3%, we get none of the over-ripe mango notes often associated with Cap Sweet Mango. Used low, the inherent bitter notes compliment the Papaya perfectly and adds a credible mango profile.
TPA Peach (Juicy)
As the name suggests, this ripe, succulent peach adds sweetness and juiciness to our mix and is a key component to liven up the aforementioned fruits.
This cantaloupe completes our melange and harmonises the 3 main flavours into a complex tropical masterpiece. I fell in love with this cantaloupe the first time I mixed up Canary Coulis and find it to be more true compared to the other, more popular options.
FA Marshmallow adds a touch of sweetness and amalgamates the fruits to prevent a linear taste experience.
This baby is fabulous off the shake but shines after 3 days.
A generous scoop of vanilla ice cream drowned with a shot of espresso and a trickle of chocolate...
Although my coffee base is strictly speaking not an espresso, I believe that this combination provides the full bodied coffee base which encapsulates the very best coffee has to offer. Until such time that someone creates a better coffee/espresso alternative, this will remain my go-to...
MF coffee, to me, is the pinnacle of all coffee concentrates and provides an authentic, robust coffee taste, boosted (pun intended) by a touch of FA Booster (tiramisu). I fell in love with this combo when I fist experienced Marietta by @RuntDastardly and have never looked back!
The Ice Cream
My go-to combo of LB VIC and HS FVIC is the perfect adornment to receive the dark, rich and smooth coffee shower. This combo combined the very best of CAP and TFA VBIC and unites them in a creamy, scrumptious union... Period.
MB Glamour chocolate is the final touch and it sweetens our ensemble just a tad... The cocoa notes in the chocolate compliments the natural cocoa notes in the coffee beautifully and balances the overall taste experience.
This baby requires at least a 2 week hibernation, more if possible, for the coffee to adequately meld with it's new friends...
MF Coffee - Not recommended but FA Dark Bean (espresso) at 0.5 or INW Coffee at 2% can be used as an suitable alternative
MB Glamour Chocolate - JF Milk Chocolate at the same %
An intensely creamy creme brûlée cheesecake - decadently rich & luscious.
Based on my custard stone and Tootall’s 3-2-1 Creme Brulee and follow up Yummy Classic, I present my interpretation of the doubly-delicious Yummy Classic on steroids, and then some!!
The moment I picked up INW Yes, We Cheesecake I knew that they created a winner. This is an immensely creamy, fresh out the oven, European style baked cheesecake which, I am certain, will be the new gold standard for Cheesecake flavours. Period.
This is a Philadelphia style cream cheese set atop a delishious, delicate graham style base, perfectly balanced.
The 3-2-1 Creme Brulee needs no introduction and combined with the Cheesecake, results in next level oral pleasure...
You can absolutely not substitute anything in this recipe with the exception of the Shisha Vanilla with your favorite vanilla.
This baby shines after 5 or 6 days, thanks to the wizardry at Inawera...
A fantastic chilled mixed berry mix - simple and delicious!
Another addition in my Icee range and one of my all time favourites! I have been enjoying this fantastically simple mix for months and it has become my go-to "palate cleanser". The fresh and vibrant mix of forest berries sits perfectly, with just the slightest touches to make it shine.
FA Forest Mix
I cannot say any more that has not already been said about this marvellous flavour. Bilberry, raspberry, strawberry, blackcurrant, and a lick of blackberry blended perfectly to provide a crisp, authentic and vibrant burst of unrivaled berry goodness.
The FA Cream provides some body & creaminess, allowing the berries to show their full potential.
WS23 cools everything down without detracting from the stars of show. Feel free to start the WS23 off at 0.25% and adjust up if required.
Sub WS23 with Koolada at your preferred % if preferred.
EDIT: 1% FA Marshmallow adds a little sweetness if that is your thing...
Allow the Forest mix to settled and blend with the creams for at least 3 days and your'e good to go!!
A rich & creamy vanilla ice cream drenched with homemade butterscotch sauce...
This took a few attempts but I think I cracked the butterscotch sauce here. I wanted that caramelized sugar element inherently present in traditional butterscotch which was lacking in the standard variations. I tried a few things including Brown Sugar, Creme Brulee, etc but, alas, none of those delivered.
I found inspiration in a simple, often used ingredient and it worked a charm!
FA & FW Butterscotch
Both of these these are magnificent butterscotch's and I simply could not choose one over another, so I used both! At 2% each, they compliment one another beautifully to provide that rich and sweet butter and sugar goodness associated with a real butterscotch.
FA Caramel boosts the butterscotch and provides the faux dark brown sugary element without being bitter or overpowering.
The ice cream come compliments of my go-to VIC = LB Vanilla Ice Cream. This baby combines the best of CAP and TPA VBIC without any pepper notes (I am unfortunately a pepper taster) and is a creamy, full, real vanilla ice cream. The ice cream is made more indulgent with the help of a smidgen of HS French Vanilla Ice Cream, which takes this from great to magnificent!
To take this over the edge, further indulgence is provided by FA Cream Fresh, because EVERYTHING tastes better with Cream. Seriously, this knocks the butterscotch into shape a bit and tones the mix to the perfect level of creaminess and sweetness.
Holy Vanilla is just heaven in a bottle and is used to amplify the vanilla in the ice cream base...
Give this baby at least 2 weeks to settle...
A refreshing passion fruit and lemonade cocktail.
Passion fruit and lemonade is a very popular drink in my neck of the woods, especially amongst the ladies...It's a refreshing all-year-round drink and goes from good to great with a generous splash of vodka! The traditional drink involves a double shot of passion fruit concentrate into a glass filled with ice and lemonade.
FA and FLV Passion fruit combined creates an authentic, sweet, tart and exotic passion fruit flavour second to none and is the main protagonist in this fantastic medley.
LA Lemonade is the main lemonade profile and is boosted by VT Fizzy Sherbet to create the slight fizziness which characterises a true lemonade. VT Fizzy Sherbet can be subbed with FW Rainbow Sherbet but it does not do as good a job as the Fizzy Sherbet.
Let the passion fruit settle for a day or so and enjoy!!
A refreshing blend of stunning summer drupes, celebrating the sweet and juicy magnificence of stone fruit.
"A stone fruit, also called a drupe, is a fruit with a large "stone" inside. The stone is sometimes called the seed, but that is a mistake, as the seed is inside the stone. The stones can also be called a pit. Examples of stone fruits are peaches, nectarines, apricots, plums, and cherries."
FA Peach white and INW Peach blends perfectly to provide our peach layer. Combined, they provide an authentic, juicy, drip-down-your-chin peach - skin, stone and flesh all in one!
TPA Nectarine is a fabulous, true, nectarine flavor and, if used correctly, translates nectarine in vape form perfectly. Just a touch is necessary to compliment the peach layer = any more and it becomes florally.
INW Smoked plum brings an intriguing sweet and sour element with a touch of smokiness to keep the juice interesting and balanced.
FA Apricot provides the fresh, juicy and ripe apricot flavor with that slight tang to balance the overall sweetness. Be careful with this one as it can overpower a mix in an instant.
FA Cherryl imparts the cherry stone fruit layer and boosts the sweetness of the mix with it's inherent natural sweetness. Again, just a tad is all it takes...
FA Cream provides a bit of mouthfeel to the overall mix and blends all the fruits together wonderfully!
Feel free to add a touch of WS-23, etc if you prefer a chilled version.
This baby needs at least 5 days (7 days better) for the fruits to meld together and smooth the floral edges.
A scrumptious, rich chocolate tart layered with fresh, juicy slices of pear.
Lava Cake does a magnificent job in emulating a decent chocolate tart, albeit not the most sophisticated torte known to man. That's where FA Cookie and JF Biscuit comes in... Combined with FA Marshmallow, they coax the life out of the Lava Cake and make it shine, and then some!
A bit of added texture and this baby transforms into a something its creators, I imagine, intended. I tested Lava Cake at 3% and 4% but found that, at highher levels, it overpowered the delicate pear notes. 2.5% works a treat but if you want the increase the chocolate, feel free to up it by a % or 2.
The pear layer is compliments of my trusty pear duo, which, when combined, delivers and unbelievably realistic, fresh pear flavor.
I upped the ratios of the pear to punch through the chocolate base and show themselves in all their glory... The pear sits beautifully atop the rich chocolate tart and balances the sweet and cocoa notes with its inherent, slightly astringent, notes.
Give this baby a good week to settle and enjoy!
