Straight forward waffles with maple syrup. I must say that I'm loving this one. Goes great with coffee and I've been enjoying this one throughout the day. Simple, rich, delicious. Works as a S&V, but obviously gets better with time.
LB Belgian Waffle: Clearly the star of the show here. This one is absolutely legit. I knew I had to work with this one as soon as I smelled it. Great waffle flavor, certainly the best one that I've tried to date.
FLV Milk & Honey/FA Maple syrup: Work together to create the syrup note. The FA maple syrup gives the authentic maple note. Milk & Honey has a certain dark sweetness that I can only describe as molasses. It lends some body and a dark base that fits perfectly.
JF Bavarian Cream: One of my favorite creams to add a slightly dark sweetness, round out harsh edges and really pull flavors together. This one has become my Swiss Army knife.
Tfa Butter: I mean, c'mon. Who doesn't want butter on their waffle? Are you a communist?
The Grapefruit is a great idea. Only one problem; the taste. The Oro Blanco is a grapefruit hybrid. A cross between a traditional white grapefruit and a pomelo. It has none of the qualities of traditional red-fleshed grapefruit that make you cringe when someone mentions it. It has almost none of the bitterness you would expect, and it's mildly sweet with nice citrus notes. I often had these for breakfast as a kid before hopping on the bus, but it's a fruit I just kind of forgot about as I got older. I chose this because for the most part grapefruit is generally hated and I sought to change that idea.
Inw White Grapefruit was the obvious choice here as it's the only grapefruit flavoring that isn't overly bitter and has a very mild sweetness.
FW Blood Orange was the backing citrus note that this mix needed as it imparts the orange note without tasting like bitter zest.
FA Lime Tahity(cold pressed) takes the brightness to another level and really makes the two fruits come alive.
Yes, I know. Another lemon vape, sue me. Anyway, Glas pound cake was one of my adv's and I sought to not necessarily clone it, but attempt the profile and spin it a bit to my taste. As I've vaped quite a few bottles of this stuff so far I think it's safe to say I did a good job in pleasing myself (insert your favorite joke here). wouldnt really try this one as a shake n' vape as the yellow cake really doesn't come out to play until day three.
JF Juicy Lemon: I use this lemon for just about everything; one of my favorite flavors. It's very bright with just the right amount of tartness to really stand out in a mix.
FA Meringue: Useful here in the aspect that it offers a very light baked note without making the mix too "dark." It adds to the sweetness and helps out with the glaze.
Cap Golden Butter: Don't know about you, but I make my poundcake with as much butter as I can so this flavor only makes sense. Yellow cake by itself is not exactly poundcake consistency so the butter helps in changing that.
FW Butter Cream: Used in a small percentage here for the lemon icing. It's sweet and one of the better icings available in my opinion for that sweetness.
JF Yellow Cake: Beautiful yellow cake flavor. Every bit as good as FW, but minus the sucrose. Fits very well here and frees the other ingredients to add the sweetness.
Tfa Cheesecake (graham crust): Added here in a small percentage to help along with turning the yellow cake into something more dense and moist. I first was using Cap NY, but I think this one was the way to go as it's a bit more subdued in flavor and only used for texture.
So this is the first stop on trying to clone one of my favorite juices. Its not quite 100% there yet, but it's definitely close and a very good vape. I love that it straddles the line of being a bakery, but also a crisp refreshing flavor. Works well as a shake and vape, but the Apple really comes out in 3-5 days. The lemon-lime and lime tahiti pair nicely to compliment the fuji and create a very nice top note that's extremely bright and refreshing. Normally I use sugar cookie at a higher percentage because, well.......it's sugar cookie. One of the best and most versatile flavors around. It's here just to boost inherent sweetness and add a bit of graininess. The graham cracker and sugar cookie the base of the crumb note and is boosted by the liquid amber. I'm almost positive that amber isn't in the original, but it works so well getting the profile where it needs to be. Lastly a dash of meringue is used to round out the harsh edges and work as a bridge. Hope you enjoy!
Steep Time: 5-7 days, but can work as a shake&vape if you're in a pinch.
Steep time: 3-7 days
Started off as a lemonade, but the Inw raspberry ended up giving it that nice candy property and I was instantly a fan of the combination. The Jungle lemon really boosts the tartness of the lemonade dramatically and rounds out the vape. I can't seem to put this one down during the summer months. Very sweet and refreshing.
Can be vaped after 24 hrs with decent results, but I recommend letting it sit for a week to really meld that raspberry into its intended balance.
