This is based on Kopel's Southerner : https://alltheflavors.com/recipes/58127#southerner_by_kopel

I used the "this could work" approach in adding INW Black for Pipe and reducing percents of the Southerner flavors except for Lovage Root, which was doubled. The Kentucky Bourbon still stands out clearly, and in combination with Lovage and the other flavors, giving this a bit of chewing tobacco flavor.

Not sure how long this takes to steep since I didn't try it until 7 weeks after mixing, so I'll go with the usual 30 days for INW tobaccos.

A simple aromatic pipe profile here. I wanted this to be smooth, tobacco forward with an accent of maple and a dab of rum. The molasses is added to enhance the rum and give it a little more sweetness. I considered using TFA Brown Sugar but the 'lasses seems to fit better.

It could use a bit more tobacco so I think v4 will have 1.5% of FLV Cured Tobacco in place of the Tatanka, just to see how it works.

A bold tobacco blend topped with a bourbon sparkle! If you like tobaccos you need to mix this one. (personally, I reduced all flavors to 80% and steeped for 14 days)

This ranks with Abuela in my favorites list. I wouldn't know a nuance if it danced on the tip of my nose, but Gatsby hits all the right notes for me. Been vaping it every day for almost a month and ain't tired of it yet.
