A third or fourth version of my take on Vapoureyes' Heisenberg (https://vapoureyes.com.au/products/heisenberg).
Icy cold blueberry, some bubblegum in the background. Derived from many of the available Heisenberg clones, tuned towards the VE version. It's close enough that I'll settle.
TFA Blueberry Candy - The base blueberry. Works great here at 5%.
TFA Raspberry Sweet - Adds another dimension to the blueberry candy. More of a dark, fuzzy berry background.
Cap Bubble Gum - There is a clear bubble gum note in Heisenberg, cap at 4% is weak enough but closely resembles the bubblegum undertones.
Cap Double Apple - Slightly crispy, bright apple note necessary in the mix.
Sour - Pumps up the blueberry.
Koolada/Menthol - Cold, icy finish. Clears out the sinuses, even at this low % (yes it's low, I'd even hazard upping menthol to 2%, but that's just me being a fuckwit).
Sweetener - Nothing to say here. Pretty much add this to everything, ties in a sweetness to the other flavours that is vital (imo).
Mixed @ 40/60. Great as a S&V. I wont lie and say it's exact or anything, but it hits the same satisfying notes of the original with some different intricacies. The OG has anise of some sort, and no raspberry. However this will do me fine until VE makes some one shots 👌
No-fuss, zesty and sweet lime juice. Comparable to a margarita mix with some fresh lime squeezed on top.
Shake and vape.
TPA Key Lime - Tangy, top notes of the lime. Slight sweetness. On its own can be quite harsh, but marshmallow rounds it off to leave the zesty notes without the sharp throat hit.
FA Lime Tahity CP - A deeper key lime flavour. Plays well off the top notes of the key lime, adding a backdrop of syrup/juice.
Marshmallow - Rounds out the harsh notes of the key lime, adds some inherent sweetness and "smooth" balance to the mix.
Koolada - At 0.5% adds a coolness, reminiscent of a cold lime juice.
My attempt at an Aussie classic. A fairly basic berry mix. Mostly inspired by /u/christopherson's phenomenal Looma recipe (reposted here https://alltheflavors.com/recipes/22844), though this is a 'brighter' berry-juice profile since Cap's Harvest Berry (a much 'darker' berry mix) has been intentionally omitted. With CAP's HB gone, you're left with a very close flavour to the cordial here.
I've tweaked around with FA forest mix and INW raspberry for some time now, in hopes to recreate a raspberry/lime sherbet from a great DIY site here in Australia. Though that one led me to this cordial recipe and it worked well. With fuji apple and cactus, you get more of a juicy bite out of the berries.
Give it about a 5 day steep to get rid of any possible weirdness from INW Raspberry and it develops nicely.
- Koolada at 0.5% to make it like it was straight out of the fridge.
- FA Lime Tahiti Cold Pressed at 0.5-1% for some lime-y zest to complement the berries
