Week - 9 The Year of Mixing Challenge

My Tribute Recipe to one of my favorite mixers, Fresh03. I know how much he loves lava cake, and cupcakes, and creamy custardy things, and this recipe hits all of that. I did not list sweetener in the recipe, but I would suggest 0.5% CAP Super Sweet, or 1% FW Sweetener, or 0.5% FLV Sweetness. Since there were a few options for sweetener I've left it up to the mixer to decide if they want to add it. IF you want to forego the sweetener this recipe works fine without it, but is a little bolder with the sweetener added.

If you don't have vape wizard you can skip it out of the recipe and everything will work fine without it. It is there to add just a touch more body to the recipe boosting the creams.

This recipe is just a simple chocolate cupcake with a whipped marshmallow cream filling and the powder sugar helps bring out a frosting type taste.

I suggest a 2 week steep, you could probably even go a full 4 weeks for the cupcake and creams to fully develop, but if you enjoy these flavors shake and vape, I say go for it. It was unoffensive as a shake and vape, but the flavors really come out better after a few weeks of steeping.

Week 9 -- This is my first inspirational mix, for Lifa Vapes. Keeping a recipe simple is sometimes hard as a DIYer, and while this doesn't have a ton of ingredients in it the layering on this recipe is lovely. You don't get a straight out apple or strawberry but a delightful blend of the two with a hint of a caramely apple dancing in the background and a smooth layer of sweet cream. Light sweetener level makes this easily an all day vape. Yes, it's shake and vape for me, might not be for you, so try it fresh and if it's a bit harsh for you let it steep for 3 days minimum.

For Week 7 - Feeling Heroic? The Year of Mixing Challenge -

My hero, the Eleventh Doctor. Out of the all the Doctor Who's I've watched Eleven is my favorite...cause bowties are cool. In the first episode as the new doctor, Eleven visits a young Amelia Pond where he finds he likes fish fingers and custard. Well I'm not making fish fingers and custard as a flavor, so I'm going with deep fried apple slices dipped in custard. So this inspired by recipe adds one of my favorite fruits - cause I'm not a super fan of strawberries.

Going for a straight fried apple dipped in a funnel cake type of coating, no cinnamon, no spices.

Edit To Review updates: After it's steep of a little over a week, I decided the funnel cake should probably be lowed a little because it is just a little too heavy. The apple notes were brought up a touch, but not much and just a little more custard notes. Otherwise it is quite tasty. All changes have been made to the recipe as it reads now.

Week 6 - The Villain Within

Sugar and Spice, one naughty one nice. A sweet vanilla cupcake laced with the spicy sharp notes of Bergamot and frosted with a white horchata frosting with a dusting a fresh cinnamon.

I tested this shake and vape. It seemed pretty good fresh, but I suspect it will take 2 weeks for the cupcake notes to fully come through and the bergamot to mellow out with the cinnamon. I've set my tester up for steeping.

You can mix this without the MB Captain Rum, or sub it with another boozy alcohol, you could even add FLV Morning Mimosa to this recipe as well at 0.5% for a slightly different boozy taste. A good sangria should be sweet, fruity, boozy, and chilled. You can adjust the sweetener level to your own tastes, or sub CAP SS with FLV Sweetness if you are are looking to make it without sucralose (use around 0.25% to 0.4% of FLV Sweetness as a replacement.) Caramel is there to add a slightly richer note, you could also use a brown sugar in this spot as well, but I liked the caramel taste.

Week 2 of The Year of Mixing - Light fluffy whipped marshmallow blended with a delicate blend of sweet fruits and a dash of a little bit of green. The Zen Garden is optional here, recipe works well without it, but if you like a touch of spring green to your vape, you may enjoy it. I prefer FW Sweetener if I'm using sucralose, however you can replace it with whatever else you prefer.

Week 1 of The Year Of Mixing - Inspiration picture used for the thumbnail. The aurora in the night sky against the white cold snow covered ground inspired this recipe completely. Nice cold frosty bite with the strawberry and watermelon notes dusted with a sweetness of powdered sugar and a dash of cap super sweet. thechristmasmix2017 May still be updated at some point later on. Mixed it up live and tested it on the charity event.

Freshly tested on Fresh03 saturday mixing with friends, not sure how it will steep out, but the percentages may need adjusting as it steeps. I will update it if I change the percentages.

Named by Ryan Owens -- Thanks A Bunch for the name!

Tis the season for cranberry sauce. Sweet, cool, full of cranberry flavor with that jelly taste. If you're looking for a holiday flavor this year, give this a try. Can be vaped fresh, but tastes great after several days to a week steep.
