This recipe is based on a popular Brown Sugar Boba Pearl Tea which seems very popular across the world. I had never tried one till recently and was more than satisfied with a divinely balanced sweetness that was a little rich & almost caramel-like but delicious. This isn't a "tea" as such rather it is based on the parts of the flavours that I really enjoyed. It's interesting that I thought this would be a simple recipe when I started working with this, but it was actually quite a challenge to emulate the experience and strike the right balance in a vape eLiquid. I think this is a very close rendition regardless.
"A simple yet delicious combination of flavour that is easily an all day vape!"

Coming from a place with a burning desire to make something unique, delicious, warm and makes you feel comforted. This is a hybrid recipe created with a blend of flavours that I imagined would offer warmth and comfort. That is what this mix is about. Sure there is technique here, but what I would rather you the mixer do is mix this and with each vape of this, try and pick out how each flavour plays and how it melds. Pull it apart by single flavour testing each flavour. See how each flavour works with another at these percentages.
That is mixing, real DIY mixing IMO.
The only thing that will be burning besides your desire for more will be your battery power as you enjoy this vape full of richness and balanced flavours that don't really belong together,
but somehow they do.

This is Campfire!

Enjoy!

An exquisite, delectable and moreish recipe that is made with finesse and restraint.

I have always been taken by the lovely complex sweetness that Rosemary offers. From the first time I blanched that first sprig and caramelized it in a modest pot pan meal with kipfler potatoes & a tender lamb shank carrying all that flavour, I was in love. While I understand that may sound pretentious, flavour has always been my passion.

Now, unfortunately there isn't a lamb concentrate and even if there was, it wouldn't transfer into a pleasant eLiquid in my opinion. However the the complex sweetness of rosemary has me so besotted that I felt it was worth trying to find a profile where it can work in an eLiquid.

After experimenting and researching many recipes, the pairing of rosemary with lemon contrasting against a bakery was by far the loveliest.

Thank you to the loveliness of Inawera's Rosemary concentrate, this was made possible with incredible authenticity. It needs to be to be used with restraint to ensure you don't over power a recipe with herbaciousness. Restraint is key and using it in balance with other concentrates is essential to ensure that gorgeous complex sweetness shines light through a recipe. In my opinion 1% would be the highest point I would take this concentrate to avoid it from offending.

In this recipe I have utilized the new "Lemon Squares" concentrate by Wonder Flavors which gives a perfect baseline of dense bakery with slight & light sweet lemon tones.
I enhanced the bakery by complimenting it with a little Flavorah Pastry Zest which offers some authentic biscuit base bakery tones along with some convincing lemon zest.
The Loranne Cream Cheese Icing was also used with restraint to balance the tones of the lemon & to get a little bit of sweetness, as well as bring some lovely texture into this recipe.
To help balance this recipe and assist with a fullness through the middle of this profile, I used the reliable INW custard. It also helps to smooth off some edges of the high notes.
I took a little calculated risk to use OOO powdered sugar as a sweetener here. It works as that type of sweet dust you get on those higher end cafe bakeries and comes in a little after a good steep.
The real hero in this recipe is of course the the Inawera Rosemary. It is so authentic and has played a lovely complimentary role that makes this recipe as unique as it is beautiful . Offering that complimentary unique sweetness has simply worked this into a delectable all day vape.

A subtlety spiced full crust apple pie.

An apple pie recipe has been a hit & miss experience for me for quite some time in an eLiquid as I found it's difficult to enjoy often due to my palette being left feeling dry from pastry flavors that seemingly linger. Thankfully in 2019 there are a lot more flavors that are available that can help avoid this.

What I have developed here is a full home baked crusted & delicately spiced apple pie recipe with a lovely splash of thick delicious custard.

However patience is the key to success here, for best results a 2 week steep is a necessity. It vapeable before hand but the spice notes from the FW Dutch apple pie are little to forward and need this time to meld properly with the other flavours. It's worth the wait. This is not a quick over the counter or supermarket apple pie, this is "Home Baked".

FLV Apple Filling - is the awesome cooked apple in this pie with some lovely rich cinnamon notes. This is rare for a Flavorah concentrate to be pushed this high but this one loves to be pushed a little higher in bakeries I find.

FW Dutch Apple PIe - Is an underrated concentrate in my opinion. It offers some rich bakery & cooked apple notes and when used low as I have here it really can give a rich fruity recipe a solid centre to help bridge a profile.

FA Apple Pie - Has slight yet brighter apple notes than the others but it's crust which is dominant is mainly why this is used here. It is a very stable and enjoyable pastry crust to use in most fruity bakery profiles.

WF Croissant - Assists with some flakiness of the crust and adds some lovely contrast to the pastry.

FLV Smoked Butterscotch - for that fresh baked straight from the oven accent to this profile really does well here.

FA Custard Premium - This thick authentic silky custard is the best going around right now in my opinion. It really helps to balance the whole profile here as it covers the pie but doesn't drown those nuances of flavour either. This is the savior to an apple pie recipe profile because it helps to not only make the vape not dry over time but helps fill out the mouthfeel of this very enjoyable vape.

Variation of Sweetness - If you feel this isn't sweet enough DO NOT reach for the supersweet ! Rather go for 0.5% of VTA Golden Syrup. I tried this when testing and it gives the right amount of dark sweetness here if you're a sweet tooth.

Since I was young I knew I would be enjoying something special when I was getting a "Lemon, lime & bitters". It's such a nostalgic profile for me that I have enjoyed for a long time and I still order these regularly when I go out because I no longer drink. It's the famous balance of the sweet lemonade with the freshness of the lime and the bitters that cut through the tartness and gives you a some what complex yet refreshing experience like no other. Since creating eLiquid recipes I have been thinking how lovely this would be to replicate in a vape. However there just didn't seem to be a concentrate or combination of that would truly help replicate this experience until Vape Train released the messiah of flavor concentrates that I hoped would finally make this happen.

Many years ago I did a bar course through TAFE Queensland and there I learnt quite a lot about flavors in a short time with a young pallet that was starved for life experience. This course finally gave me the opportunity to single taste that special seemingly elusive (at the time) bottle of bitters. I wanted to get my hand on that stuff and see what it tasted like by itself because I was convinced it would be amazing. How naive was I? lol. It was god awful, it made me spit and gag. There's just no way you can replace these valued moments in life that we can now look back on with somewhat embarrassment and self cursing of how much of a dickhead was I? lol

What I did learn very quickly though was that quite often some flavors can be not great on their own but when paired or accompanied with the right friend that things can go a lot better. I learn't that "Bitters" when measured correctly can provide the perfect balance between sweet & tart. This concentrate from VT offered all that I was hoping for.

Recently I visited an upmarket Thai restaurant and experienced a LLB that was rich, balanced, beautiful and delectable like I had never experienced before. With now over 35 years of life experience and memories of enjoying this lovely beverage I was actually blown away by the depth of flavour. So I did what any avid DIY mixer would do on a romantic date and took notes lol.

It needs a smooth vanilla note with depth and an almost creamy soda like feel that seemingly helped to fill out the nuances of the fresh lime & lemon notes while also being refreshing and effervescent.
This is how I came up with V1.

There are 3 variations to this recipe.

V1: I suggest trying it as listed here, it is beautiful and very close to how i remember it and i could vape that all day,

V2: I'm a sweet tooth and want a little sweetness and brightness to this profile so added a slight amount of TPA sweet & tart and shazam that did the trick wonderfully.

V3: This is the original blend I did which is lovely and is more like a middle market version that you may get in a supermarket or a fast food restaurant, it's still great but lack a bit of the body of flavor in hindsight.

nb.the fizzy sherbet works very well here for a little almost fizzy mouth feel as well as giving a little lemon like assistance to the overall recipe in all if these versions.

IMO this is a very pleasant and enjoyable vape on a single coil RDA at 60W with a SST single coil at 0.2 ohm

ZING is the first word that came into my head because it's that kinda lemon style mix. It's got some zing yet the balance of flavor is a very pleasant thing!
Kinderground recently spoke of the loveliness of VTA Sour Lemon & FE Lemon working together, I think it was on "Noted" on the DIY or DIE YT channel.
While I know those flavors well, before this recipe I can't recall putting these together but I am very glad I did. Me being me, wanted to go to the extreme and also offer a little zest note that the other lemons lack (not a bad thing), hence a little FA Lemon Zest was added & works really well here I think.
Now as pleasant as that little lemon trinity is, it's not a stand alone vape rather it's more of a stone to use in other profiles like this.
To make things simplish I thought, lets add this "Trinity" to a custard. A custard that's full, creamy and a little sweet to compliment the lemons and mellows out those higher lemon notes that keeps things lovely and balanced. After playing with a few combinations I really enjoy the full yet smooth mouthfeel of how FA Custard premium works with Butterscotch Ripple and a little Holy Vanilla.
Altogether after an at least 7 day steep allowing for the lemons to settle and the creams to meld this comes together in a way that I think is lovely and offers a balance to the "Zing" of the lemons.

Oh "You Turkey!" why? Why would I take on one of the most difficult and often subjective recipes to try and create in the art of eLiquid creation?
Because I enjoy the challenge!
To me this is almost the Mount Everest of eLiquid recipes to try and create. I've made many, many attempts of this over the years and I have tried some commercial attempts that are out there on the market as well. All of them lacked body and cut the throat. This is why this profile is often unsuccessful IMO.
It's a really difficult profile to balance.
The Turkish Delight (also known as Lokum) is no doubts as subjective as standing up for your Nan's best version of this, as it's a love or hate flavor and has many wide and varied versions.
This version is stripped back to being a base. You can add a little pistachio, almond or even some chocolate to this base recipe and it has held very well.
Flv Pistachio, FA Almond or a combo at low %'s are good or 3% MB Glamour Choc+1 % Cap Double V2 was successful for a 'Fryers' style when I tested this worked well.
Some may want a powdered sugar, I tried the obvious choice of "One on One" PS but it gets kinda lost in this IMO.

The difficultly in making this recipe decent is the harshness from a "Rose" flavoured concentrate and working out how to tame that turkey! lol

Then BOOM! Flavorah releases a "Rose Essence" concentrate, just when I thought this recipe couldn't get any better. After SFT the FLV Rose Essence & getting excited, it soon became apparent that it just wasn't going to find a way to balance here. It's lovely but better served with creams IMHO.

Rose Stone - I discovered the wonderful flavour pairing of INW Plum & Wild Rose and fell in love. It was a balancing act on a tightrope to get the depth of flavour without harshness but I finally got there.

The other challenge for me was to try and a create jelly like flavor that carries throughout the vape, in a way that really complements the effort that went into the "Rose Stone". Marshmallow really assists in the texture, sweetness and body of this vape. However to get that sticky jelly effect proved more difficult. NO other jelly candies would seemingly work here for me and I tried Swedish this & 27 that. Purilum Jelly candy is ok but it is an essential assistant here. The flavour works really well with FA Jack (Pazzo) and the FA Jammy Candy Wizard is just the magic to tie these flavours together to assist the right balance of texture on my pallet.
This is a labor of love, it is my version based on my experience of a lovely Turkish delight.

I hope you enjoy this as much as I have enjoyed the challenge of creating this !

Don't be a Turkey though! Mix it, try it and let me know if this is the best dam Turkish Delight eLiquid you have tasted just as much as I think it is!

The French started it, Australia perfected it - The Vanilla Slice

What is a Vanilla Slice?
A snack similar to a mille-feuille, consisting of a layer of vanilla custard or cream between two layers of pastry with a thin layer of frosting on top & fresh out of the paper bag! "Bon Appetit-O"

If you haven't had a dogs eye with dead horse while holding a coldie you are simply, un-Australian.
The kiwis invented the Pavlova, we perfected it, the French created champagne we perfected the bubbly, they also created a custard snack you couldn't pronounce called "mille-feuille" which sounds like a drunken indecent proposition. We perfected that to. We put frosting on top that ties this delight together with class. We even sometimes add a little passion fruit in the frosting if you wanted the "High end" fancy version. I've kept this real though. A real, fair-dinkum, working-class suburban bakery vanilla slice made to perfection (pronounced ah la pure-fekt). So if you don't mind froggies or as you may say
"exkoozim wah, ohhh o hoh hohhh" I have now perfected this beauty in a vape!

Be a bit patient with this one as 2 weeks really helps this become something that the frogs would get off their hind legs for and would make any Aussie weak at the knees.

The Cuz-tard Filling:
I don't claim to be a custard virtuoso but this little combo of INW Custard, WF Flan, Cap NYC & FLV Vanilla Pudding I came up with may just make me one. This combo stands up "perfecto" in this lovely multi cultural delight. Firm but fair, texture and the way it sits in ya gob is bang on I reckon! It's a fuller mouthfeel than a bad date at the back of a movie theater. The "nilla" through this is bloody lovely!

The Pastry:
OK OK you frogs, settle down, you guys nail pastry so you can have that one ! That's why I used the best in WF Croissant in this and it works well !

The Frosting:
Not to thick, not to thin, a little slight lemony note with a sweet edge is what this trio will give you and its bloody bootiful! If ya wanna get really schmancy and high end you can add 1% WF Passionfruit to this recipe as well if your into that sorta thing. This little "Frosting trilogy" will have ya lick'n ya lips ! (or pashing them)

So get real, get fair dinkum about a decent DIY vape recipe and get gobsmacked with a mouthful of deliciousness !
If ya reckon it could be better let me know smart arse! lol

Seriously if you wanna a solid recipe that works give it a go!

I enjoyed this at 65W on a WOTOFO Recurve RDA

Steep - vapable off the shake but have some patience! Give it good couple of weeks and reap the rewards!

A classic combination of chocolate and mint with a crunchy chocolate cookie base. While I have tried many versions of this profile over the years I was yet to slice open the perfect combination to suit this princess warrior. It was worth the fight though.

-Molinberry Cookie Bite has recently changed the game for cookie profiles and this recipe simply isn't worth anything without it. It offers the perfect cookie with just a hint of chocolate that makes the base of this profile amazing.

Molinberry Glamour Chocolate coats the cookie perfectly here because it is a full chocolate that not only offers brilliant flavor and texture, it also helps to fill out the vape a lot here where as a lot of other chocolates seem to thin and need support in my experienced opinion.

  • Nailing down the perfect mint creme center is not as easy as it seems because it needs to balance and come through the middle of the cookie and chocolate. Thank you to Simon aka WOFTAM for suggesting to me to try Cap Cool Mint because I never would of thought to try that flavour in this profile. When paired with the LA CCI and a kiss of FW Creme De Menthe it totally works and to my palette it is amazingly authentic.

Creating a profile like this that is seemingly simple yet challenging while also getting maximum definition of flavour with a small amount of ingredients here is the key here for sure. It's a battle that this little princess warrior is proud of and hope you all enjoy the success from this fight that has finally been won !

Slice open your concentrates, mix this up and let me know what you think! Most of all, enjoy the journey and the battles of mixing because the victories are well worth it in the end!

Never has a recipe excited me like this! The best dam Apple 🍎 pie 🥧 recipe ever! IMO If you don’t mix this you will never experience something rare and special! Wow Russell Branche! Wow! Mind blown, taste buds are spoilt tonight!

This looks lovely! I'm looking at this as a nice "stone" recipe to build off to taste. For example I could add some Lemon,Banana, strawberry, chocolate or other yummyness to taste! Nice job Mark! :) Thank You!

I love a different profile of something I haven't thought of or tried before. I need some of these flavors yet I hope to fill those gaps in the next few weeks and looking at building around this using some quince. Mary-Beth, I love the profiles you put up! :)

The best #InspiredRemix of any recipe I have tried yet! Thank you Jennifer Jarvis for the original here. You’re mixing is insane, in a good way! This recipe showcases how to achieve flavour separation, blending fruit flavors while achieving amazing contrast, flavour consolidation and more. The only concentrate I replaced was OOO Pie 🥧 crust & instead I used WF Croissant at 1%. While I respect it was a slight change I respect that the pastry layer will be possibly a little more buttery than the original yet at the same time, with that small change to the recipe it has helped me to appreciate mostly what Jen achieved here. Thank you to Dustin Freshly for mixing the original version of this first & making me jealous to the point that I had to have a go at this to. This is what mixing is all about IMO. Sharing experiences, learning with from others & being blown away with what can be achieved! Mix this!!! 5 1/2 stars out of 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

This is a mix thats worth being patient for 2-3 weeks. Off the shake it's good but is at the edge of sweetness and the popcorn may be a little dry. This mellows after around 1 weeks though. By 2-3 weeks everything comes into balance and is delicious AF !!! I warn you now don't fuss with 30ml, do at least 100ml! When this steeps the texture and caramel tones along with the ice cream will give you cravings for more and more!! Not a simple mix but it is simply a lick your fingers for more great recipe !!! I rate this a 6 out of 5 !!!

#ReturnTheFlavour - The texture and flavour is 100% on point for me. I can't see how I would improve this. The use of WF Glazed donut & FW Yellow cake, although it appears low it tied in with the FA Metaphor to give a subtly to the bakery here. The FA Metaphor Kinda bridges the bakery to the other elements here really well and no doubts assists the FLV Frosting which helps to contrast with that lovely vanilla icing. That icing sits right in there with a wonderful use of Fruit Circles where WF Lemon Orange Rice Candy is used as like a booster to that edge of sweetness to the fruit loop. I can't ever normally say I have had or enjoyed a perfect recipe but this one I think is as perfect a recipe as one could get on a profile like this IMO. Nice work Luke!!

I have mixed the "Developed Version" of Peach Slush now and it is good. The texture of the ice was under sold by the crew IMO on today's show rather it was about the syrupyness that was talked about more. It was near unvapable at my preferred setting of 60w on a single SST 0.2ohm coil on a recurve rda because it was way to heavy with cold. I had to drop it down to not only get something with flavour but to avoid my tonsils & nasal passage from freezing. At 45w the flavour came through after i rested my throat will some water and around 5 mins. Although still very very cold the texture of the ice became present and the honest flavour of the peach started to come through. After around 10 puffs a slight medicinal note seems to linger that I can only guess is from the lack of steeping & I'm guessing may have been from the nectarine. None the less it wasn't overly offensive and I was certainly sold with the flavour and authenticity of the overall flavour of the profile. I think for some people the challenge will be to overcome that Polar Blast & WS-23 coldness that is blasted at you in this. The texture (mouthfeel) of the granules of ice by bouncing off the citrus soda is a stroke of genius here. IMO the peach could be better but that's just me. Before I go on, I love to be challenged and challenge myself and enjoy when others create a better mix than I think I can or mix something that I normally wouldn't, as is the case here. Rather I was inspired and challenged myself to see how I would go about mixing this profile to challenge myself. So being frank and honest, how does my recipe compare? I'm not just going to say it's better to "big note" myself but for my pallette and olfactory I enjoy it only fractionally more than the developed recipe. Why? The peach is better IMO due to the use of a slightly better use of flavours that I enjoy. I used VT Sorbet base and there is a slight watermelon back note and due to single flavour tests of working with that my head goes to that but it is faint and I think most wouldn't notice it if it wasn't pointed out. The combination and use of Cap Lem Lime with the Flavorah Ice, Flavorah Frosting & VT Sorbet certainly sells the granular ice mouthfeel on a par with the "Developed recipe" but also compliments the fruits just as well. Honestly if it wasn't for that "cold blast" and that slight lingering note I suspect from the nectarine (should go after a steep )in the "Developed" peach Slush recipe I would say that they are both equally as good. In my version the flavour is more present and balanced due to not being overpowered with nasal freeze. If I was to rate the boys (only my opinion, judge for your palette & olfactory!) out of 5 stars I would say 4 stars. If I was to rate my version honestly I would say 4.5 stars. At the end of the day it's about what pleases ourselves and what inspires us to keeps us from those stinkies with this wonderful craft of DIY eLiquid creation. Do It Your Way! & thanks guys of the developed crew for having a show like you do even if it's only 90% DIY lol, You gotta leave space for some fun right, keep on keeping it fun!! :) My version: http://tjek.nu/r/wEd9
