This recipe started as an evolution but really it's a revolution in mixing.

What other recipe in DIY can you sub almost everything with another and it's still good?

What began as a remix to "Oreo's in custard" has evolved into something even more special.

This is a mouth full of all day vape off the shake but best in a week.

I have subbed nearly every ingredient in this recipe and each time it's been a success. If you have only got VTA Vanilla buttercream frosting, that works. Inawera custard rather than TFA VII works well.

No sugar cookie? use JF Cookie. Haven't got one ingredient leave it out or throw in 3%5% of FW Butterscotch Ripple.

Try subbing the cookie for a Molinberry version, it won't hurt it.

Add some fruit like bananas, berries ect and it will hold up nicely.

Make it even fatter in mouthfeel by adding some FLV Vanilla Marshmallow? Maybe even sub in some cheesecake? Regardless it will hold up beautifully!

In over 4 years of mixing I haven't seen a recipe that is as constantly versatile and delicious as this is to work off.

Have fun with it & enjoy the evolution!

Firstly a little background on the inspiration for creating this recipe. This recipe is based on an Australian favourite confectionery that is simply delicious yet extremely complex to replicate in an eLiquid.
The name of the product called "Resdskins" apparently makes some people in the American culture scream "That is just wrong!".
I won't lie, I don't understand what offense this causes nor have any knowledge of the sensitivities of native America. So as to not cause an unintended offense, I have called this recipe "Red Faces".
I have called it that because maybe I should know more about the subject, but hey I'm never to old to learn right?
In saying that let's get on with the recipe that has been the most challenging yet in my 4 years plus of mixing.

After 15 variations over the last few weeks and many many more over the years this is the nearest to justice I can do for this flavour profile.
The "Allens Redskins" is a legendary confectionery in Australia that is like a raspberry hard chew candy that is sweet, tart and little sour, slightly fruity but uniquely delicious.
I have to hand it to the genius who first created this profile because cracking the code of flavour on this is near impossible.
You have to concentrate REALLY hard because there are artificial fruity back notes like apple and pineapple. The Raspberry is extremely distinctive and that was very difficult to nail down.
Hence I had to create a 321 confectionery Raspberry trilogy to get even close. Accenting that trilogy was a balancing act of attempting to replicate the same flavour and mouthfeel and has an 11/10 difficulty ratio.

The slight creaminess and smoothness is also difficult to pin down.
The lingering of the slightly sour & tart notes you get in the real thing is also amazingly difficult to get right without muting the overall base of flavour.
The flavour saturation of the real thing is insane!

To emulate that level of flavour saturation in a vape eLiquid would mean using at least using 30 plus percent of flavourings, while at the same time it would make it sickly sweet after a few short puffs.
So to make this an enjoyable vape I have taken the middle ground of enjoyable vape Vs over sweetened and exaggerated flavour.
This is the closest I can do to entertain this near impossible flavour.
It's delicious, but it comes with some pre-conditions to experience what I have done here:

  • it needs 3-5 days to steep.
  • there are NO SUBS
  • It needs to be mixed at 70VG/30PG
  • It needs to be vaped on a quality RDA with airflow semi restricted at least 75w-90w on a 0.10-0.15 ohm dual coils or similar set up with wattage/resistance allowed for on a single coil RDA.
(You can vape it on another device and Wattage but it won't necessarily be the same - let me know what you tried it on)

  • You need to vape it through for at least 5-10 puffs to get the lingering notes that deliver all the nuances.

I have set out, as I do with all my recipes to make this an enjoyable vape experience. Converting a real life confectionery into an eLiquid is difficult and this was seriously the most difficult recipe I have created ever!
I could either write a 16 page PDF on flavour notes & on how I came to use all the flavours here the way I did ect., but let's keep this simple & enjoyable.
I think this is a very good rendition of this much sought after recipe profile, but let me know what you think. :)

Enjoy!

If this was a commercial or custom recipe I would charge heaps for it!
I fully own this recipe and if I learn that you have used this for commercial use I will hunt you down because I DO NOT give permission for use of this recipe other than for private personal use only.

I strongly urge you all to please advocate so that not just you and me can enjoy a smoke free future but also those who haven't experienced what we have yet!

A glorious, bright and fruitful vape experience that will be the envy of all those who haven't tried it.

The medley of fruits used here work with each other in a beautiful balancing act that layer very nicely with a silky smooth ice cream. A slight squeeze of lemon in the back that is barely noticeable helps the sun shine through this delicious vape.
The WF Buttercream Frosting paired with the LB Vanilla Ice Cream takes a so so melty like ice cream vape to a delicious sweet and balanced ice cream.

This would be one of the most unique yet wonderful eliquid recipes I have created to date.

I recommend giving this a week to steep for maximum results.

I believe everyone should have a chance to experience this.

In 1813, Dolley Madison (first lady) served a magnificent strawberry ice cream creation at President James Madison's second inaugural banquet at the White House. This was seen as the first big introduction to the world of this delicious dessert. Apparently she didn't mind the odd cigar either. She was well known for not only bringing both sides of politics together in a socially positive way but also for the quote, "I would rather fight with my hands than my tongue".
I think if she was around in this era, she would of said "I will fight for the right to vape and to taste with my tongue again"
Just maybe if history was different, 207 years later she would have been enjoying this lovely combination in a vape.

This is my 2020 version of the classic Strawberry Ice-Cream in a vape with the best known vape flavours known to our industry right now.

A delicious, juicy and jammy strawberry ice cream layered with a little marshmallow and vanilla in a serene experience that will tantilise your taste buds with texture and flavour.

A short 3 Day plus steep is well worth the wait after a good shake as it will allow that little bit of time for all the ingredients to layer and meld nicely.

Why I did what I did ?
LB Vanilla Ica Cream - Is simply the best creamiest and smooth easy to work with ice cream flavours that acts as a lovely base here.

WF Buttercream Frosting - assist the ice cream so the ice cream has a better mouthfeel rather than the usual melted ice cream mouthfeel, it tastes more authentic.

FLV Marshmallow Vanilla - Fills out the body of this vape very nicely offering some delectable tones of vanilla as well.

OOO Strawberry Jam - Is in my opinion the most authentic tasting, full flavored strawberry jam flavour on the market today. It brings the depth of the strawberry through out this recipe.

FA Red Touch Strawberry - Is such a delicious and round, full flavoured strawberry that contrasts and accents wonderfully here.

A little super sweet helps to make it shine a little.

You can treat this with a little extra if you like.
add a little white choc (I suggest 0.5-1% FLV White Choc or 1.5% FW White Choc), maybe a little coconut (I suggest for texture 1.5% VTA Desiccated coconut or creamy coconut FLV Coconut 1%) , or maybe you would like a bit of that ice cream cone by adding a little WF Sugar cone and/or WF Crispy Wafer if you like (up to around 2% of either).

My take on this ever popular recipe profile. I think it's fairly good off the shake but will see how it goes over the coming days.
*Update, brilliant after 2-3 days! I have tested this on Pod Mod, Sub-Ohn Tank & RDA and its great!

The Mixin Vixens Recipe Profile This Week Is
"LOCO UNICORN - Cocktail Recipe"

Taking a look at the picture of this lovely looking cup of magic, I knew I had to see if I could do this.
Immediately I begin thumping the flavors that come immediately into mind on ELR. WF Strawberry Gummy, MB Blue Rock Candy, Flavorah Vanilla Marshmallow............

(insert cartoon skid sound effect here)

Hang on a minute, this is a legit cocktail recipe?
Based around this cocktail 🍹
https://mixthatdrink.com/loco-unicorn-loconut-cocktail/

I began research like a wide eyed unicorn does and realize this is far more complex than I thought this was going to be at first, gulp 😲.

This is based around Captain Morgan LocoNut which is made with Caribbean rum and coconut liqueur. Then I see that there is Curaçao which is a blue colored liqueur flavored with the dried peel of the bitter orange laraha. The mind thinks omg I don't even know how to pronounce this, but I need to get down to the liqueur shop and try this.

I thought better than to rush on down to the shops then come home and get plastered on this, as it would only cloud my brain even more.
Rather, I took the route of doing some "hangover free" online flavor research.

With that and a few other fancy sparkles popping off in my head I got to work and mixed the following recipe that I think could be not only my most unique work, but technically my best yet in 4 years of mixing.

While I understand that not everyone will have the flavors here, I highly recommend in getting them all. From a technical aspect there are no subs. Each ingredient here is spectacularly balanced to create what I think here is magical✨.

  • The DV Parma Violet is magical and really brings the sparkles here.
  • The Euro flavors Blue Raspberry is the most rounded, smooth and full flavored version on the market right now in my opinion.
  • The Molinberry Pineapple Lassi has essential notes of flavor that totally fit here.
  • The base milk of OOO Coconut Milk & WF Coconut Rum is linear and is essential to the body of this profile.
  • The SSM Orange Liqueur brings a level of mild complexity yet authentic notes to help emulate the Curaçao liqueur.
  • OOO Powdered Sugar helps to give that fine dusting of magical sweetness overall.

And just like that BOOM !!! ✨🌈🦄
There are unicorn Sparkles off the shake!
A day later I taste again and the rich body of flavor with all the sparkles around the edges are still present. Most of the experience is on the exhale and the lingering notes left on the palette after going on a magical journey through a few clouds is just lovely.
The rum notes are definitely present, not to heavy or not to light. They balance and play well in with the blend of the Blue raspberry and Pineapple Lassi.

This has been a fun mix to create!
I hope you enjoy mixing this as much as I have enjoyed this creative process. Let me know what you thought in the comments below.

I want a custard that is silky smooth, sweet but not to sweet, has some eggyness but not to eggy. I just want a custard that is full flavored, enjoyable and doesn't take a year to to steep.
It's taken a long time, but finally I have cracked it!

This is Custard Cracked!

An extraordinary mix of full bodied flavorful custard that is balanced and blissful.

Creme Brulee - Offers body and dark sweetness.
Legendary Custard - gives this a lovely surface of the custard mouthfeel.
Marshmallow Vanilla - Volumises, sweetens and the vanilla is delicious!
Sweet Cream - Blends here to assist to keep the body smooth
Toffee Ice Cream - Assists the sweetness and body of flavour.

I hope you enjoy mixing this as much as I have enjoyed this creative process. Let me know what you thought in the comments below.

A simple and high definition version of Fruit Circles with milk.

It's amazing what rewards will come by single flavour testing (SFT), pairing and patiently layering a recipe. This is exactly what has brought this one together to help create a truly lovely, realistic and balanced fruit loops recipe.
The secret star of the show here is VTA Orange tang. This is what assists to bring that artificial citrus sweetness out that is so distinct in fruit loops.
If you haven't already I encourage you to SFT your flavours, make notes, organise them so you can refer to them because that's the real secret to getting you on your way from creating nice recipes to making magic. (if you want to)

The Finest Strawberry Milk Recipe Of Them All
(in my humble opinion lol)

After 4 years of creating recipes I find myself yet again returning to one of the most desired recipe profiles in DIY.
I won't lie, this year I have been holding back on my better recipes for commercial use, not this time. This one is for you all!

Early in my time mixing, I enjoyed a lesson in mixing patience and steeping with a recipe called "God Milk". It was an excellent example of a strawberries and milk 4+ years ago. This recipe is not attempting to replicate that great recipe in anyway rather to respect it for what it was along with so many other amazing similar recipes since.

It's past time time though with all the amazing concentrates in hand that are available here in 2020 to create the finest Strawberry Milk of them all!
This is "Goddess Milk".

The Cream Base - Is a delicate combination of authentic flavours blended carefully to get the right balance and the most realistic mouthfeel possible once steeped.

The Strawberry - JF Strawberry Sweet is the God to the Goddess here. It holds up beautifully against all the creams and sits just nicely here.

What to expect?
On the Inhale a delicious and full, sweet, syrupy & rounded strawberry followed on the exhale with the strawberry softening while blending with the silky smooth blend of creams of the very authentic strawberry milk mouthfeel on the exhale. I have vaped 120ml of this already without fatigue.

Strawberry Blind?
Please try the "Blind Goddess" by subbing JF Strawberry Sweet at 2.5% with Wonder Flavours Strawberry Gummy Candy.

Steep Time: While very vapable off the shake I recommend for best flavour experience to allow 5-7 days.

I enjoy this at 60W on a Single 0.2ohm SST coil on a Recurve RDA.

I hope you enjoy this just as much as I enjoyed creating this recipe, but let me know what you thought in the comments below.

A lovely bright, golden and sparkly beverage ready to tantalize your taste buds!!
First I pour in the lovely sprite-like lemonade, add a big splash of pineapple, and then scoop out a nice amount of passion fruit. I taste, while pleasant at this point it needs to pop. I add a little Super sweet and experiment with Caps Fizz pop. Give it one hell of a shake and boom, Golden Sparkles!!

Enjoy!!

I prefer vaping this on a recurve RDA at 50W 0.12ohm SST coil.

Steep time 3 days. Good off a good shake though!

Never has a recipe excited me like this! The best dam Apple 🍎 pie 🥧 recipe ever! IMO If you don’t mix this you will never experience something rare and special! Wow Russell Branche! Wow! Mind blown, taste buds are spoilt tonight!

This looks lovely! I'm looking at this as a nice "stone" recipe to build off to taste. For example I could add some Lemon,Banana, strawberry, chocolate or other yummyness to taste! Nice job Mark! :) Thank You!
User: DIYDownunderPippa Score: 5 Entered: over 2 years ago
I love a different profile of something I haven't thought of or tried before. I need some of these flavors yet I hope to fill those gaps in the next few weeks and looking at building around this using some quince. Mary-Beth, I love the profiles you put up! :)

The best #InspiredRemix of any recipe I have tried yet! Thank you Jennifer Jarvis for the original here. You’re mixing is insane, in a good way! This recipe showcases how to achieve flavour separation, blending fruit flavors while achieving amazing contrast, flavour consolidation and more. The only concentrate I replaced was OOO Pie 🥧 crust & instead I used WF Croissant at 1%. While I respect it was a slight change I respect that the pastry layer will be possibly a little more buttery than the original yet at the same time, with that small change to the recipe it has helped me to appreciate mostly what Jen achieved here. Thank you to Dustin Freshly for mixing the original version of this first & making me jealous to the point that I had to have a go at this to. This is what mixing is all about IMO. Sharing experiences, learning with from others & being blown away with what can be achieved! Mix this!!! 5 1/2 stars out of 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

This is a mix thats worth being patient for 2-3 weeks. Off the shake it's good but is at the edge of sweetness and the popcorn may be a little dry. This mellows after around 1 weeks though. By 2-3 weeks everything comes into balance and is delicious AF !!! I warn you now don't fuss with 30ml, do at least 100ml! When this steeps the texture and caramel tones along with the ice cream will give you cravings for more and more!! Not a simple mix but it is simply a lick your fingers for more great recipe !!! I rate this a 6 out of 5 !!!

#ReturnTheFlavour - The texture and flavour is 100% on point for me. I can't see how I would improve this. The use of WF Glazed donut & FW Yellow cake, although it appears low it tied in with the FA Metaphor to give a subtly to the bakery here. The FA Metaphor Kinda bridges the bakery to the other elements here really well and no doubts assists the FLV Frosting which helps to contrast with that lovely vanilla icing. That icing sits right in there with a wonderful use of Fruit Circles where WF Lemon Orange Rice Candy is used as like a booster to that edge of sweetness to the fruit loop. I can't ever normally say I have had or enjoyed a perfect recipe but this one I think is as perfect a recipe as one could get on a profile like this IMO. Nice work Luke!!
User: DIYDownunderPippa Score: 5 Entered: about 1 year ago
Oh Wayne, what have you done!! This is a collection of your knowledge & experience in a recipe that is a massive gift. On point, balanced and can't be faulted. Sure it can't be compared with a real thing but so what, that's what makes this fun. Flavour and texture is 100% and just lovely!!! I enjoyed this on a Recurve dual RDA at 0.14ohm 65W. Thank you!!!
User: DIYDownunderPippa Score: 4 Entered: about 1 year ago
I have mixed the "Developed Version" of Peach Slush now and it is good. The texture of the ice was under sold by the crew IMO on today's show rather it was about the syrupyness that was talked about more. It was near unvapable at my preferred setting of 60w on a single SST 0.2ohm coil on a recurve rda because it was way to heavy with cold. I had to drop it down to not only get something with flavour but to avoid my tonsils & nasal passage from freezing. At 45w the flavour came through after i rested my throat will some water and around 5 mins. Although still very very cold the texture of the ice became present and the honest flavour of the peach started to come through. After around 10 puffs a slight medicinal note seems to linger that I can only guess is from the lack of steeping & I'm guessing may have been from the nectarine. None the less it wasn't overly offensive and I was certainly sold with the flavour and authenticity of the overall flavour of the profile. I think for some people the challenge will be to overcome that Polar Blast & WS-23 coldness that is blasted at you in this. The texture (mouthfeel) of the granules of ice by bouncing off the citrus soda is a stroke of genius here. IMO the peach could be better but that's just me. Before I go on, I love to be challenged and challenge myself and enjoy when others create a better mix than I think I can or mix something that I normally wouldn't, as is the case here. Rather I was inspired and challenged myself to see how I would go about mixing this profile to challenge myself. So being frank and honest, how does my recipe compare? I'm not just going to say it's better to "big note" myself but for my pallette and olfactory I enjoy it only fractionally more than the developed recipe. Why? The peach is better IMO due to the use of a slightly better use of flavours that I enjoy. I used VT Sorbet base and there is a slight watermelon back note and due to single flavour tests of working with that my head goes to that but it is faint and I think most wouldn't notice it if it wasn't pointed out. The combination and use of Cap Lem Lime with the Flavorah Ice, Flavorah Frosting & VT Sorbet certainly sells the granular ice mouthfeel on a par with the "Developed recipe" but also compliments the fruits just as well. Honestly if it wasn't for that "cold blast" and that slight lingering note I suspect from the nectarine (should go after a steep )in the "Developed" peach Slush recipe I would say that they are both equally as good. In my version the flavour is more present and balanced due to not being overpowered with nasal freeze. If I was to rate the boys (only my opinion, judge for your palette & olfactory!) out of 5 stars I would say 4 stars. If I was to rate my version honestly I would say 4.5 stars. At the end of the day it's about what pleases ourselves and what inspires us to keeps us from those stinkies with this wonderful craft of DIY eLiquid creation. Do It Your Way! & thanks guys of the developed crew for having a show like you do even if it's only 90% DIY lol, You gotta leave space for some fun right, keep on keeping it fun!! :) My version: http://tjek.nu/r/wEd9
