A bright juicy take on a Strawberry Apple. Sometimes you'll get juicy berry. Sometimes the apple will dribble down your chin.
Bring your napkin.
Ok So I started with Citrus mix, marshmallow and lavender. I used the lavender for the booster like notes that it can provide and it really gives a nice zing to the citrus so it didn't disappear. After that I wanted more citrus without rind so I added the lime, orange and lemon all in small amounts to just help give it a more rounded citrus flavor. The marshmallow vienna combination is used for that nice light creamy like backnote it has and helped tie it together.
Add a touch of pomegranate for some extra fun.
Well I wanted a Biscuits and Jam recipe.
Started with the Biscuit. strong but not 100% strong so 1.8%
Needed more butter so FA Butter: .2% (yes it comes through on the steep)
Then it needed more inner texture, but not too sweet of one so biscotto at 1% for that extra cookie/bready/texture. You won't really notice it other than "hey this biscuit has layers". Added some joy for a little extra breadyness and that minor sweetness it has mixes with:
The inside... I chose the shisha for it's jammy qualities (3%) but felt it needed a little more realistic strawberry to help it out so 5% ripe. Throw in a little vienna and cream fresh for that sweetness and (believe it or not the vienna helps the biscuit here because it is naturally "fluffy") you have a biscuits and jam.
Imagine taking white creamy American Nougat and mixing with a fantastic pastry/cannoli cream.
Torrone for the nougat.
Marshmallow and fresh together for that velvety and extra texture.
Custard for the base.
Almond to help the almonds in the nougat.
A personal favorite. I keep a few hundred mils at all times.
FA Cream Fresh at 1 for the light creaminess it imparts
FA Meringue at 1.7 for that milkiness that it has. Also I like using this in milks because even though it technically is a meringue cookie, when mixed with other creams it becomes very much like a thin milk.
TFA Dairy/milk at .2 to help thicken it up a little bit. Your milkbase will taste like around a 2% milk
TFA Strawberry Ripe to give strawberry some body. It is slightly fleshy with a nice fresh juicy berry tone but it can get lost in the mix so...
INW Shisha Strawberry at 2% as it's a really bright and vibrant berry. It will help the ripe stick around and really bring out the flavor in the berry.
Sweetener helps finish it off and tie it all together. Provides a bit of juiciness on the exhale that the strawberry milk needs.
Steep 2 weeks for best results.
Ok so let's talk Milkshake. When in doubt, look at a food recipe and keep it simple.
4% Strawberry ripe for the texture and body of the strawberry
2% Strawberry Shisha to help the Strawberry Ripe pop
2% Vanilla bean ice cream for the nice start of the ice cream
.5% Dairy/Milk to give the dairy factor and help the ice cream.
.8% Vienna Cream to richen up the vbic and give it extra texture.
Steep 2 weeks. This will hold it's flavor over a long period of time.
A juicy mango. Lightly fleshy. Keep it under 3%. Very solid in a mix drink or tropical vape.
Solid flavor. If you want fried dough with very little sweetness, this is the way to go. Nice fried outside and lightly fluffy inside but not too much.
