This is a pear and apple infused rum. Or a rum infused pear?

Ich habe nicht das Gefühl, dass dieses Rezept bereits fertig ist aber es zumindest an dem Punkt, dass ich eine erste Feedback-Runde angemessen finde. Haut daher gerne alles raus, was euch zu diesem Rezept einfällt, was ihr schmeckt, was euch persönlich fehlt, etc. Ich freue mich auf eure Meinungen. Damit der Alkohol“hit“ nicht zu sanft ist, habe ich das Rezept wie üblich mit 60/40 und nicht mit 70/30 gemischt. Aus dem selben Grund empfehle ich die Zugabe von Nikotin, mir persönlich gefällt es so besser.

I started to work on this recipe trying to create a super boozy rum flavor. It didn’t work out and I‘m sure that VT Russian Vodka is the one missing flavor that I need to achieve my goal. Nonetheless I‘d drink this if this was a real thing. It’s the clash of a juicy pear and a mealy apple poured over with a spicy rum. You can still taste the rum at 0.5% which is great because 1% of FA Jamaica Special was too much and too sweet. My sweetspot concerning VT Light Rum seems to be around 3%. It really is a light flavoring and doesn’t taste as boozy as it smells but it kinda gets the job done. Around 4% it seemed to mute some of the other ingredients without contributing to the overall taste of this recipe. 3 is fine. The sharp sourness of FA Lime Tahity adds an important undertone to that alcoholy experience. TPA Pear might not be the best pear and probably will be replaced in a future version of this recipe. It still tastes great and fits the overall profile in the combination with the cooked mealy country apple and FLV Heat. Originally I used much more Heat to imitate the hit of booze but in the end it was more pepper than anything else. 0.25% adds a nice amount of warmth that equally suits the boozieness and the fruits i used to create the tipsy nashi. This is at least version 12 of my boozy experiments and I can barely taste anything anymore after vaping nothing else since three weeks. So probably I’m wrong because my taste is off and this recipe sucks balls. Feel free to tell me if this is the case lol.
