I know sea buckthorn from vacations at the Baltic Sea. There are many local specialties made with sea buckthorn. Among other things, I have also found dessert recipes that are very similar to this liquid recipe.
I was very curious when FlavourArt recently launched a sea buckthorn flavor. In the first single test, this turned out to be very floral with a distinctly sour note. However, to my sensibilities, this seems to be a very authentic sea buckthorn flavor.
Therefore, I experimented a bit and I like the result very much: Together with yogurt, cream and a minimal dose of honey along with Sweetener this flavor can be combined to a very special taste experience. The floral character is clearly softened.
