Profile: Strawberry Shortcake with Strawberry Syrup Drizzle
- Using an even combination of (Cap) Cake batter/ (FW) Yellow Cake as the cake base makes a more realistic soft, fluffy, light shortcake.
- Using (TFA) Strawberry/Strawberry Ripe combo brings a thickness to the strawberry while also giving it that realistic/strawberry syrup flavor/feel
- Using (TFA) Whipped Cream/ (CAP) Bavarian Cream as my cream allows the cream to stand apart as a topping, the bav cream adds flavor to our cream while the whipped cream adds the mouth feel.
- (CAP) Super Sweet starting percentage- .5% up to 1% adjust to taste, I recommend .75% as it is to me more realistic.
- Let mix steep at least 4 days. reaches full potential around 7-10 days
- Stay tuned as I may tweak and tune this recipe
- Must STEEP
