Thrown together on Fresh03's "Mixing For Mike" show on 6/12. Addy Tuney's donation to the GoFundMe for VapinTrucker's family earned him the right to command me to create a "Blueberry Jam Butter Biscuit." He clarified that it could be either an American or European biscuit, so I went with the shortbready type cookie interpretation of the word biscuit rather than going all Pillsbury doughboy with it.

This is not bad for at all for a first draft, but I'm going to give it the steep and tweak treatment and come back with an improved version later.

When Tuney said blueberry jam, I immediately knew I wanted to use VT Bilberry Ripe. Easily the best blueberry jam I've tried, much better blueberry jam than VT's own Blueberry Jam, which is absurd. The WF Blueberry Jam might prove to be unnecessary and disappear from the finished version, but I just really liked the way it worked in Rin's Blueberry Cheesecake and wanted to use it. FE Lemon is there because until someone makes a blueberry flavor that pops on its own like blueberry + lemon, you're going to see me adding a little lemon anytime the subject of blueberry comes up. It might be unnecessary here as well, but it's reflex at this point.

Mr. Tuney said butter and WF Cookie Butter was the first thing that came to mind. It's so good. If it turns out that it just makes a more buttery cookie after steeping, rather than giving me a layer of butter under the blueberry, I might have to try something else.

CAP Sugar Cookie is the go-to cookie that I knew would work with the blueberry. I used some WF Shortbread Cookie to crisp it up and make it more shortbread-tasting versus a big soft sugar cookie. Hopefully keeping it fairly low keeps it from being too burnt after a steep, but if the biscuit comes out overcooked, I might have to replace it with something more basic like JF Biscuit.

SSA Ice Cream Vanilla is mostly for a buttery mouthfeel finish, but also because there's never enough vanilla in any biscuit/cookie flavor. Hopefully I haven't overdone it, but if it grows over time, I might have to use less of it in the final version.
