I wanted to create a chocolate glazed donut in the style of a krispy Kreme dreamcake.

The glazed donut and butter cake make up the donut, the thick french vanilla and buttermilk make up the filling and the chocolate is the frosting/glaze on top.

I really like the way the chocolate is light enough to be a top layer of Frosting. This is really good. Its got a light but still there, fried pastry vibe, and a super fullly filled creamy donut. It's delicious great job.

Nice recipe, everything works well together. If I was to describe this to anything I’ve physically tried it would be a chocolate doughnut from Greggs (UK Bakery) if I was to provide any constructive criticism it would be that it needs a bit of body, it’s all very creamy but I’m banking on the pastry dough coming out a bit more as it steeps, nonetheless it’s a 5/5 from me, nice work Sam 😀
