DIY E-Liquid Recipe

This recipe is a Work In Progress.

It might be amazing, but its creator doesn't think it's finished yet.

This is a nice melon glazed donut. The kind you like even in summertime since the melon juice in the glazing plays well together with the vanilla custard.

Cookie and Zeppola form the backbone of the recipe. This is the type of donut Grandma made. She carefully enhanced it with some homemade custard. CAP‘s vanilla custard plays it’s strength in providing a nice non dominant moisture to the donut while being nicely present in the background.

Cantaloupe plays generally well with Meringue and provides here the glazing for the donut. CAP Cantaloupe has a nice sweetness in the flavor profile which supports that function very well. If you only want a slight hint of cantaloupe in the glazing you can reduce the percentage to 4%. At 5% the cantaloupe is more dominant while still letting you taste the donut.

Enjoy!

Mixed this yesterday and tastes great after an overnight steep, I'm sure it will even get better. Never even knew melon donuts were a real thing, I'm going to have to search for some now. Thanks for sharing, instantly added to my favorite mixes.

Very tasty. I love how the well balanced donut harmonizes with the cantaloupe. Thank you for this recipe!

SteveTC, this rips. You managed to keep it a lot lighter than I was expecting and the cantaloupe is such a nice touch on the exhale. This feels like it was given a lot of time and love. I’m going to vape half at two weeks and save the other half for a month out.

Well done Steve. This is a hell of a donut. If you don't think so, imagine biting into Nonna made Zeppole drown in a yummy Cantaloupe infused glaze. Definitely will use this as a base to develop Zeppole fritte con zucchero e cannella. It's definitely a throwback into my childhood. Love it! Deserved 5 Stars!

I had the chance to test the recipe before it was published, but I didn't have a Cantaloupe CAP so I took Cantaloupe FLV at 1.5% as an alternative. The donut comes out very well is tasty but not penetrative in the foreground. The melon glaze is very tasty with the 1.5% cantaloupe FLV I chose and not in the foreground but as if it is a nice, subtle glaze. I give the recipe 5 stars, because shortly after the 10ml to test I immediately mixed another 60ml of liquid

I tried it without the Melon to taste the donut base. First of all, this is a pretty good donut base, where you can add a lot of fruits, very versatile. With Capella‘s Cantaloupe and after steeping for 14 days, it‘s fucking delicious. I also tried a version with Honeydew Melon (JF) at 2%. Very flavourful with a nice body of a smooth and well balanced donut. The first 50ml are gone and I will definitely mix more. Well done! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
