A while back Alfred Pudding mentioned to me that he wanted a new mix for his CC-Devon Cream so I set out to come up with something for him. Daytime Frank was doing a bakery show today so I felt it was a good time to release it. This is a rich and buttery croissant with the cream filling and caramel lushness, then dusted with sugar for good measure.

The VT-Croissant is a super buttery croissant flavor and it pretty decent on its own but I wanted to add a bit more body to it so I tossed in some FA-Cookie. The FA-Custard Premium combines with the CC Devon Cream for a decadent creamy filling.
I used the FW-Salted Caramel as my main caramel note and the VT-Honeycomb is like the magical glue pulling all of these flavors together. The OOO-Powdered Sugar is to sweeten it up and add that sugar topped element to the mix.

{Possible Substitutes} Although these will not be an exact match, they would still make a decent alternative if you are missing these two flavors. FA-Custard Premium can be traded out with FLV-Vanilla Pudding (same percentage). CC-Devon Cream can be traded with JF-Bavarian Cream but you might want to lower it to 1%. The other flavors are essential for the best results IMO.

I used butter tart, croissant and crepe to create the flaky pastry of a danish. I wanted to sweeten and thicken it up so I added the creme brulee. That's my danish base. Theoretically, I should be able to throw any jammy fruit or cream cheese at it.

Bear Claw, baby! The danish pastry base is comprised of butter tart, croissant and crepe. I added the creme brulee for that caramelized sugar note and a little mouth feel.

It's those dense little custard puffs you used to be able to buy at the local bakery. Light but moist pastry with a pudding like custard and sprinkled with powdered sugar. A throwback to my childhood.

The base of the caramel danish is the combination of croissant and butter toffee base. Together they give me a buttery, flaky danish type pastry with just enough cooked gooey-ness. I used walnut for a slight nuttiness and to add a little texture to my pastry. The orange marmalade infuses my dough with a thick, sticky, cooked orange flavor. Topped off with a generous portion of rich, buttery caramel cream.

This is a french cake croissant. The angel cake and whitw cake blend to make a wonderful white cake and the flv cup cake batter give it that inner moist cake flavor. The cake is surrounded by layers of flaky delicious croissant crust. Sugar orchid gives the cake a wonderful pop of deliciousness! Of course the flakey cake needs a drizzle of powdered sugar frosting.

I have been searching cakes for the past col years and this one is by far my favorite so far! Give it a try you'll love it! It turned out absolutely delicious!! Not too light not too dense but just right! I cant put it down its so good!
