This mix started out as a bourbon cream and ended up with us pouring some of your granddad’s “special drink” into a McDonald’s chocolate shake (on those rare occasions where their ice cream machine is actually working).

This mix was a collaboration between @Foment_Life and I on the DIY eJuice Discord

The first draft was 3% Bavarian Cream, 2.5% TFA Kentucky Bourbon, .1% FLV Rich Cinnamon, 1% FA Madagascar (Vanilla Classic), 2% VT Chocolate Mousse, and 1.5% TFA Marshmallow (but we both “oopsied” the marshmallow to about 1.8%).

We agreed that it already pretty much tasted like a McDonald’s shake, but wasn’t really what we were going for. We threw around a few ideas, and eventually landed on TFA Toasted Almond at 1.5%. This ended up adding a nice bit of smokiness that really helped sell the bourbon that was lacking a bit. The only problem, and maybe it was because I was dehydrated, but the mix started making my mouth super dry. We decided to let it sit a few days and see if the cream thickens up and helps out with the dryness.

A few people tested it out for us and really seemed to enjoy it, but we still thought it could be improved. We tried it after a few days steep and the cream really helped moisten the mix up. The dryness issue was pretty much eliminated. Really, the only thing that we thought could be improved was the bourbon. Unfortunately, I only had TFA Kentucky Bourbon to work with, but we both agreed that FLV Bourbon would be a good fit after Foment described it as a more woody/smokey bourbon than TFA Kentucky Bourbon. So Foment mixed up the new bottle and thought that was it. I added the FLV Bourbon to my cart, mixed it up, and fell in love.

Quick notes:
TFA Marshmallow, TFA Bavarian Cream, and VT Chocolate Mousse make up our chocolate milkshake base.

FA Madagascar (Vanilla Classic) is there to help bolster and add some richness to the chocolate.

TFA Kentucky Bourbon and FLV Bourbon are the secret ingredient.

And last but not least, the FLV Rich Cinnamon and TFA Toasted Almond are there to add some extra smokiness and spice to the booze.

Nothing is going to taste bad if you vape this early, however it does take about 7-10 days to reach its peak.

A smooth delectable and full flavored chocolate vape that's not to heavy & not to light that is absolutely heavenly!

Based upon VTA Chocolate Mousse that brings a lovely body to this profile and VTA Desiccated Coconut that not only pleasantly pairs beautifully it also helps with the over all mouthfeel.
The VTA Vanilla Buttercream frosting assists the smoothness, texture & sweetness here that will get you licking your lips.
The little bit of VTA Dark Chocolate helps subtly, offering a lovely yet slight contrast to the overall Chocolate.
Capella Choc Fudge Brownie helps to give a lovely density to this over all recipe.
While this sounds like it's rich in chocolate & it is, it is also smooth, balanced and a wonderful dessert vape, it's Heaven!

FYI, no Angels were harmed in the creation of this recipe lol.

Enjoy!

Best after a 5 day Steep.

I enjoy this at 60W on a Single 0.2ohm SST coil on a Recurve RDA.

I hope you enjoy this just as much as I enjoyed creating this recipe, but let me know what you thought in the comments below.

Seriously if you like a solid recipe that works give it a go!

Cheers for reading this far, now go and get mixing!

A chocolate cheesecake with Oreo crust. As always, sweeten to taste.

Saw the Mixin Vixens profile posted on FB and wanted to mix something that included FLV Creme De Menthe and all the other decadent things that I like. The picture they posted looked like mint chocolate ice cream, but I thought doing a toffee twist would be perfect for fall - inspired by stevenv84’s recipe, https://e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/3251316/Chocolate%20Ripple

Try subbing FW Butter Pecan or FA Almond for Caramel Toffee or use LB Lava Cake instead of VT Chocolate Mousse. Also try using White Chocolate, VT Avocado Cream or VT Devon Cream instead of Love and add a drizzle of Salty Caramel. Lots of tasty combinations to be had here. That’s the beauty of DIY, you can mix what suits your palate. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

I love frilly coffee vapes, especially when it’s not so crazy hot outside. With fall fast approaching I thought I’d break out my favorite coffee flavoring, Purilum Caramel Coffee with Sweet Milk. To me, it’s the perfect balance of medium roasted coffee with a nice caramel cream backbone done right with no burnt tire taste. I used it low because I didn’t want the coffee to be to forward.

Butterscotch Ripple was used accentuate the caramel. Vanilla Cream Extra, Marshmallow Vanilla and Sweet Cream help thicken the cream layer and add a nice vanilla note.

Chocolate Mousse is such wonderful flavor that really works well here IMO. I tried several different strawberries and decided to go with Red Touch because of its brightness, but feel free to experiment. Sweetener is optional if that’s your thing. For me, it’s great without it.

Creams need a a few days to steep, but very tasty as a shake and vape.

Tested on a Basic RDA with a 0.8 ohm 2.5 ml nano clapton coil at 16 watts on a Neo60 Squonker.

Hope you enjoy and rate it. Would love your feedback too!

Just delicious. This is not a usual profile that I would mix or vape; however, here it is.
This has been steeping since August 6th; however, 7 days should do the trick.

This a creamy mint pudding pie with a subtle pie crust.

Fairy'Fied!

Mutated From Lumi's Butterscotch Coffee from the Mixin Vixens!

Raspberry iced Mocha!

The two raspberries fill each other out without letting the Malina get out of hand as it does.

Chocolate mousse adds depth to the mocha, darkens up coffee a touch, while adding moisture to the vape along with the creams.

A Blueberry Chocolate Bonbon!

Labor of love this recipe turned out to be.. The percentages took some time to play around with inbetween each steep time for each batch.. I never look up other peoples recipes to see how they are doing with thier own for this type of recipe.. I prefer to play around on my own and if I am close to someone else that would be my bad. This recipe has been on my ELR for sometime before I decided to release the recipe over here on ATF.. Huge shout out to Daytime Frank as well as Tam Vapes for all the support they give to the communities..

VT Bourbon with Chocolate of any type is so good and adds a very slight boozie note to the mix.
WF Coconut Custard is a huge versitile flavor to use and I like the coconut as it seems like coconut flakes and not a cooked type of coconut and not the sunscreen type of coconut.
TPA White Chocolate is always needed with all chocolates to give back the coco butter to the mix and creams it up and takes off the shapeness of all chocolates.
OOO Sweet Cream is a must with this type of mix to add the extra sweet creamy notes to not have a dry hit from the vape.
HS Australian Chocolate along with the fluffiness of the VTA Chocolate Mousse great pairing and you need to try it for yourself to see what I mean.
