People in D / A / CH most likely know and love "Der Grüne" by Pfanner, which is a Cactus-Lemon Green Ice Tea.
After around 6 Iterations, this recipe comes close to 99% of the orginal.
TFA Sweet Tea builds the tea base that is rounded up to a Green Tea base with FA Green Tea and FA Bergamot.
INW Cactus and CAP Lemon Sicily are providing the Cactus-y, Lemon-y note that is slightly sour with some help of TFA Sour.
SuperSweet and WS-23 are additives of course, but are a must for the original taste and coldness of an Ice Tea.
Steep Time: Can be SNV'd but it is recommended to let it steep for at least 3 days for the Cactus to settle. The recipe reaches its full potential after 5+ days.
Okay, okay, it is a Kanzi in the picture (for the purists!) ;P
ADV for my buddy, likes Fuji apples.
Made it refreshing, Apple Fuji (FA) is great and Two Apples (INA) give more body, Lime Tahity Cold Pressed (FA) rounds it all. I used the new Coolada (INW) and it is a beast! Not sure about Sour, will play with it a while...
How about them Molinberry flavours...
Shape Up Pear and Blueberry are one of their best in my opinion and they pair up nicely too.
The idea for this profile came to me from the Arizona drink Blueberry White Tea, while skipping the tea part here.
I just wanted a fresh & sweet fruity vape for this one.
I did layer in some other blueberries (HS&FW) because I needed it to be more pungeant. Also adding some (FA) Pear for juiciness and that fruity sweetness.
(TPA) Sour is added to lift up the whole recipy and make it fresher overall.
Super Sweet is entirely up to your liking, but I would say 0.25% is a minimum for these fruity vapes.
Do enjoy and all the best ;)
This Mix was done for Our 1st live episode using. We talked about FLV Berry Blend in a live show - https://youtu.be/BYKq4D3Fh6o
I wanted to see if I could mix Berry Blend as the main profile into something familiar that Ive done before.
My Idea here was to Use a Jelly Candy Base that I know well to test how the Berry Blend would stand up in a Mix and it did Surprisingly well!
The combination of the Black current adds adds some wetness to the Berry Blend giving you one Juicy Berry main Profile. I also added Candy roll to boost the berries some more, you end up with a visible and balanced mix of the the red and purple gummy bears together.
Fuji @ 1.5 adds a Candy syrup that pushes that 'natural' sweetness of the other fruits.
I added a bit of sour here to mimic the juicy mouth sensation with a chewed gummy candy, I find the sour changes the way you taste some fruits and here it works well to do that.
Add if you like sweet stuff, Dont if you dont :-)
THIS RECIPE IS NOT DONE! THERE WILL BE SOME CHANGES.
I know that everyone's first thoughts are going to be "OMG that is a lot of Cherry!" but you will just have to trust me if you enjoy Cherry Jolly Ranchers. The Vape Train Cherry is a fairly weak flavor in the first place whereas the FW Hard Candy is a bit of a bully. I tried to use the lowest amount possible of the Hard Candy but I felt like any less than this and it was not selling the Jolly Rancher taste. However by the time I had the Hard Candy high enough to be present it had drowned out the Cherry completely so I had to keep turning it up until it was present again. It took me several attempts to get this where I wanted it.
There is NO substitute for this Cherry and on its own you will still get some of the dreaded cough syrup vibe. I found it at Chefs but perhaps BCF will start carrying it at some point. The sour notes in this mix work to eradicate the cough syrup vibe you may get from it on its own. The Cactus is in there to give you that juicy mouthfeel and help increase the tartness from the Sour. I went out and bought a bag of the Jolly Rancher Suckers to see how close I was getting and noticed the slightest hint of Fuji Apple in the actual candies. I think this is as close as I am ever going to get to this profile. It needs a few days to settle in for best results. Off the shake the Cactus and Fuji Apple stand out a wee bit too much but they will blend into the Cherry and Hard Candy after a brief steep.
Derived from my Gummy Grapes, I wanted to add something more without breaking the Purple Grape profile. So I combined it with another bold but light flavor, Lychee!
Cap Sweet Lychee was the choice as it already has a candy property with something similar to a very light musk candy that goes well with the Grape.
Add sweetner if you want to, I did.
