A slightly different take on a chewy kiwi candy. My current ADV.
Believe it or not, I just woke up one day and had this recipe in my head. I immediately grabbed my supplies and got to work. After mixing up a few batches, this is what I landed on. I'm already halfway through a 120 ml bottle of this version and still loving it, which is rare for me. Usually I get bored of flavors after one to two days.
If you leave the kiwi out, you also get a great base for any chewy candy profile to pair with other fruits.
By far my favorite kiwi. It is also (like many Inawera fruits) slightly candy-like and fits the recipe like a glove.
TPA DX Marshmallow:
Taste-wise this is the perfect marshmallow to achieve the "chewy" aspect of the candy profile. Imho there is no debate in using any other marshmallow flavoring here. Also steeps quicker than regular marshmallow flavorings.
A great support for the marshmallow. You could probably achieve a similar effect by combining butterscotch ripple with meringue or something like that, but why go through the hassle when Molinberry's Milkshake can be used like a one-shot for that. Also it is more potent than most Molinberry flavorings, so no more than 0.5% is needed.
FA Jammy/Candy Wizard:
This is the glue that holds the whole thing together. It works so well in here, it almost feels like cheating.
Also a vital part. Just keep in mind when using other fruits in this recipe to bumb them up a bit in percentage, because malic acid is known to mute flavors a bit. But this works in our favor when it comes to the chewy candy part, because it keeps the TPA DX Marshmallow and MB Milkshake in check, so that it doesn't taste like a fruity marshmallow milkshake in the end.
It's okay as SNV, but really shines the more time it has to steep. I recommend at least 7 days.
Have a nice vape!
Looking for a recipe to use some blueberry's as I steer away from the deserts on this one.
Wanted to go a route where this recipe used simple ingredients.
This recipe has a solid top note of (CAP) Blueberry that you taste almost until the end. The mid notes of pitaya adds that tropical taste to the overall vape. Finally the (FA) Lemon Sicily to add a little sweet and sour lemony taste on the exhale.
Pretty new to crafting my own recipes from scratch so let me know what you think!
Flavor Choices & Thought Process
Whipped Cream & Marshmallow TFA - I wanted this flavor to have that creamy fluffy texture of a yogurt. I also don't have any yogurt flavors so I made a base using what I had available to me. So I used these two as the texture/somewhat dairy-like base for the recipe.
Sour TPA & Kiwi FA - Like stated above, I don't have any yogurt flavoring. So in order to get that sour note I used this to achieve that along with the how sour/tart kiwi FA is. While still giving it that kiwi flavor.
Strawberry ripe TPA & CAP Sweet Strawberry - This gives the juice its strawberry-ness while provide a touch of sweetness.
Pear FA - the low percentage just adds some wetness to the liquid. This helps it not be a "dry vape"
Optional -- Super Sweet CAP - Sweeten to taste. If you want a more tart yogurt don't use any.
Flavor Percentage Adjustments.
Upped the strawberries in the recipe to give it more strawberry flavor.
Strawberry ripe TPA - up to 3% from 2%
Sweet Strawberry CAP - Up to 1.75% from 1.25%
If you want more kiwi up the percentage to 1%
Pear adjusted up to 0.50% to make it less dry feeling.
This is my first recipe and my try to make a delicious ice tea citrus!
For me this already tastes really nice and i hope you can enjoy it aswell :)
Add WS-23 or Kolada how you like it. I like it REALLY cold so just dosate as you need :)
Also its really low in flavour after mixing. After about 4-8 hours it already got a nice taste. I recommend let it steep for atleast 1 day.
Surprisingly delicious cherry cola bottle gummy. The fusion of cola gummy candy and flv's new cola is surprisingly delightful. Tart cherry by cap and black cherry by TFA make a slightly syrupy, non-medical cherry that completes the synergy. Vanilla marshmallow by flv is great for a little extra mouthfeel and to give that coke some much needed vanilla.
People in D / A / CH most likely know and love "Der Grüne" by Pfanner, which is a Cactus-Lemon Green Ice Tea.
After around 6 Iterations, this recipe comes close to 99% of the orginal.
TFA Sweet Tea builds the tea base that is rounded up to a Green Tea base with FA Green Tea and FA Bergamot.
INW Cactus and CAP Lemon Sicily are providing the Cactus-y, Lemon-y note that is slightly sour with some help of TFA Sour.
SuperSweet and WS-23 are additives of course, but are a must for the original taste and coldness of an Ice Tea.
Steep Time: Can be SNV'd but it is recommended to let it steep for at least 3 days for the Cactus to settle. The recipe reaches its full potential after 5+ days.
Okay, okay, it is a Kanzi in the picture (for the purists!) ;P
ADV for my buddy, likes Fuji apples.
Made it refreshing, Apple Fuji (FA) is great and Two Apples (INA) give more body, Lime Tahity Cold Pressed (FA) rounds it all. I used the new Coolada (INW) and it is a beast! Not sure about Sour, will play with it a while...
