The Mixin Vixens challenge. Mixed berries with cream topped with a cookie.
Red berries in the mix are INW Raspberry and FW Razzleberry.
FLV Blueberry Muffin bring in the blueberry, and backs up the JF Biscuit.
WF Cream Filling is the cream.
It is good off the shake, but does improve as it steeps.
Tested on Citadel 0.3 ohm 40 watts
A simple apple cobbler. Red/Yellow apple filling with cinnamon, topped with flaky bakery.
Profile: A nutty biscuit
For the biscuit part, my obvious go-to biscuit is here JF Biscuit. I decided that over INW Biscuit, as I find INW Biscuit to be just a tad too dry for what I wanted to achieve here.
To add a little pow-wow to the biscuit, I paired it up against a slight touch of AP, which helps the biscuit to feel a little bit more crunchy.
For the nuts, I went for my go-to FA Hazel Grove as I really enjoy the nuttiness it brings to the table and the slight taste of praline really works well in a nutty bakery type. I added in some WF Butter Pecan Pie to do a little dance with the hazelnut and it brings a warming creamy element to the mix along with some buttery and creamy notes, that goes really well with the biscuit.
Lastly, a finishing dash of FLV Cream and FA Carmel to add a further round touch, some rich mouthfeel and to help the warming touch.
Let it steep for a minimum of 2 weeks to get this recipe to reach its full potential.
This is a 5 star 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 recipe !
This recipe is a masterclass example of layering and balancing fruits.
This is my take on a fruit salad flan.
I was challenged by the chat on a recent live stream on you tube when I threw this together. Well not quite, see this is a combination of experience, balance and a little bit of chance. Off the shake it was delicious, 5 days later it was delicious now exactly 20 days later it is amazing!
This one is worth playing around at different temperatures to get the fruits you like to shine with your sensory system.
The presence of the various flavors in this is obvious although there isn't a total separation of flavor. In other words, if you focus on the strawberry and kiwi you will notice that more, if you focus on the berries and banana you will notice them more as well. The berries seemingly glisten in the background. The positioning of Cap Sweet Guava offers a lovely texture and body to the fruits here and is the most valuble player with the most assists here. It's a fruit medley that works.
This is one of the most complex things to achieve in DIY eLiquid creation, that is to achieve obvious flavours that are separated with more than 3 fruits. While they are not completely separated, this is the closest I have ever made or come across in all the time I have been mixing.
The Bakery combination of JF Biscuit and WF Flan have worked perfectly as the base layer of this profile. The mouthfeel & flavour is on point.
There certainly was a little bit of lady luck to get a profile like this right on the first attempt with this flavour combination but I will accept that lol.
Bottom line is this recipe is authentic as it is delicious and all day vapable. I am my own worst critic so to give this 5 Stars puts it in with my top all time recipes.
See it being made here: https://youtu.be/xkO0dws51fQ?t=4831
Give it a go and let me know what you thought of this!
Steep 5 Days for best results but vapable off the shake.
I tested on a Wotofo Recurve DUAL RDA 0.14ohm SST coils at 65w
I hope you enjoy this just as much as I enjoyed creating this recipe, but let me know what you thought in the comments below.
Seriously if you like a solid recipe that works give it a go!
Cheers for reading this far, now go and get mixing!

Profile: Biscuit with Bourbon Cream
When I was a young strapping lad, my favourite biscuit (and still is from time to time) was those with bourbon cream in them as a filling.
So I set sails to create something like it.
The biscuit itself is made using a combo of JF Biscuit as for the base, adding in ooo corn bread for flavor and texture and finalizing the flavor and texture with a notch of AP.
The cream itself I decided on FA Irish Cream backed up by FLV Bourbon and to add some thickness I added TFA Marshmallow and cream.
It's not too overpowering in either the bakery or the booze, but are balanced very well.
Both inhale and exhale gives you both bakery and booze and people say, that it does smell like a biscuit too.
I left it for about 7 days steep, to where I found it exactly as I wanted it, but it might turn better over time.
Straight up delicious banana pudding with a forward banana note and cookie finish.
I’ve never enjoyed TPA Banana Cream so LA proved to be the right choice with ripe banana. It, in conjunction with the custard and Catalan cream makes for a velvety smooth cream base. Vanilla bourbon amps things up a bit to further enhance the flavor value of the pudding feel of the vape while marshmallow creates a solid and impactful body/mouthfeel.
Cookie and biscuit make for a delightful cookie note even if the percentages are small. They're not overpowered by the banana at all and provide their own intricacies to the recipe to make it come off as a pudding with wafers sitting on top.
Sweetener is optional and up to the individual mixer. I use .50% here because it makes it all the more scrumptious. Enjoy!
