Bright Grapefruit supported by strawberry and Blueberry. Perfect Summer Vape.
INW grapefruit has a very authentic grapefruit flavor for me. During my testing after I got the flavor, it was quite strong at 5%. I wanted to whip something up that tamed out the bitterness, and added some fruity complexity and sweetness at the same time. I mix this at 75/25 VG/PG and its great as a shake and vape, but the grapefruit mellows a bit after a day or so. Berry base really supports the grapefruit zing and bitterness well.
An awesome fresh summertime ADV for me
Hope you enjoy.
Was chatting to my dad about the Manchester bombing an said it would be nice to do something for the victims an families, but didnt know what ?.
So he suggested why not donate some money from a recipe you sell to friends family etc so im gonna donate my profits to the fund
So maybe some of the mixing community could do the same if you are able to help what is obviously a worthy cause
Manchester news have a fund on https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/westandtogethermanchester an are 78% towards there total of raising £2 million for the families
The recipe is one i finished last month an have had really good feed back
FLV Pink Guava -after reading reviews on the sub i picked this up an i was over the moon with how it vaped ! Tons of flavour as expected with flavorah stuff but as good as i find some of there stuff they do have some shockers !! Its the main note through the whole recipe an it was begging to be paired with a good grapefruit imo
INW Grapefruit - A very sweet tart grapefruit that marrys well with the pink guava for the recipe ! Super fresh an perfect for this weather ! To high % an i felt some throat hit so 1.5 % was my sweet spot
TPA Dragonfruit/INW Raspberry - The supporting star in alot of fruit recipes pumps up the other fruits an with a bit of raspberry give the recipe some body an a nice secondary layer with some weight
WS-23 - Never been a Koolada fan but Ws-23 is good addition to keep that cool tropical flavour on a hot day
TPA Ethyl maltol just tames down the tartness of the grapefruit an smooths the sharper notes together
CAP super sweet - FOR THE WIN :-)
This one is a very strange flavour composition - but I like to vape it to have a break from sweet or fruity flavours. It reminds me of that kind of a situation when you're enjoying some blueberries in a hot sauna and someone nearby is eating a good sweet orange, so you decide to take a bite from that too. Why the sauna ? Mix it up and see for yourself.
Gin - In this recipe, the gin is mixed with blueberry and orange and magically turns into a juniper wood flavour with no actual taste but a lingering and somewhat savoury specific smell that feels very refreshing and surprising to your palate. Resulting smell, when mixed with blueberry and orange listed below, feels like a distinctive smell when you enter a hot wooden sauna and take a deep breath. To make things more sweet - I shall use a bit of a Strawberry ripe here, so gin won't kick.
Blueberry & Orange - INW Blueberry carries strong ripe jammy blueberry flavour which, at below median percentage, I shall pair with FW Blood Orange - a sketchy flavouring, but definitely good and one of its kind. As a result - I got nice and sweet full blueberry flavour with peel and a pulp, not too jammy, but still sweet and an orange peel flavour that resulted from high percentage of FW Blood Orange used. Orange peel feels quite refreshing, especially when paired with juniper and blueberry. And INW Grapefruit when used that low will provide a substantial kick for the blueberry, so it won't feel so heavy as usual.
Try to mix it, seriously. Let your palate be surprised for a moment.
No catchy recipe name or extensive notes or meticulous master crafting here. Threw a bunch of tropical flavorings together to see if I could get a tasty shake and vape. And voila, it's pretty damn tasty. Even better after sitting over night. If you have he flavorings and the hankering for a smooth/sweet tropical fruit/mango juice then definitely give this baby a shot. Also could replace TPA meringue with FA Meringue at 0.75%
Time for an origin story! Everyone has defining moments in their lives: learning to ride a bike without training wheels, a first love, a first heartbreak, graduating from college, a first child, experimenting with hallucinogenic drugs, etc. I would like to take this opportunity to share one of my defining moments as a mixer with ATF. One night, early December 2015, I was laying in bed and thinking about my concentrates (as is good and proper) and an idea to introduce INW Cactus to INW Grapefruit emerged out of wherever-the-fuck-ideas-come-from. I desired to push Cactus, so I chose 2% and a host of complimentary citrus flavors stepped forward and offered themselves to the cause. I was impelled to get immediately out of bed and rush to the kitchen so that I could put it together. After careful mixing, I anxiously shook what could be a dream or a nightmare come true. I stood, I dripped, I inhaled, I exhaled, and I just about died in ecstasy. After coming to the realization that I had truly connected with the most magical concentrate on the planet, I labeled the bottle 'Cactus Coitus.'
[INW Cactus/Grapefruit] - Main events. You won't get aloe or soap because of how Grapefruit asserts itself.
[Pineapple/Lemon Sicily/ Lime Tahity CP/ Mad Mix/ Tangerine] - Citrus mix to compliment the main pairing. I'm sure there is wiggle room for some substitutions here, but I have never desired to try. Mess with these and let me know how it works! Balance is key.
[CAP Sweet Mango/Sweet Strawberry] - These are flavors acting as sweeteners and serve to round the out some of the sharper elements that can show up in a citrus mix.
Shake and vape? Hell yeah.
