I've gone through over 6 completely different concentrate constellations tackling this flavour profile. This is what I've narrowed it down to, at least given the flavours I have in my arsenal. I am craving Yig with a nice cold beer so badly and have renewed motivation to get this dialed.
The Blackcurrant element:
FA Blackcurrant is the star of the currants in my opinion. It's extremely close to the one if not the same one used in Yig. On its own it's a bit dry...
In comes FA Pazzo RE aka King, this is one of my favourite flavours from the newer FA lineup. It's the blackcurrant/raspberry gummy candy with some sugar coating. It adds some body to the currant note, I want it to almost be syrupy and this seems to go in the right direction.
The Cookie element:
On to the Oatmeal Cookie aspect. I unfortunately only own one "Oatmeal" flavour and that is TPA Oatmeal Cookie. I have not had much success using this flavour initially but through much research. Reading any notes I could on this flavour it's getting easier. It's a flavour that needs help, a lot of it. It does however contain that certain something I presume required to imitate Yig.
To balance it out and shake off some of the Oatmeal Cookie off notes I've added FA Meringue to mellow it out, bring some air and sweetness into the mix. I've also added CAP Golden Butter because every cookie/custard can't stand without it. INW Biscuit also gives it that buttery goodness as well as some vanilla cookie body. Last but not least some FW Butterscotch Ripple, mainly because the first time I mixed it up to test solo it had so many notes that got me reminiscing of Yig. I think it will also add that caramelized note that is the best part of a oatmeal cookie, those crunchy caramelized edges.
I never got too much custard when vaping Yig so I decided on something lighter like TPA Vanilla Swirl along with some sweetener of your choosing and that's what I've got thus far.
I mixed this variation up a week ago and smell test is a big positive. It smells like yig to me, possibly have to go up a little with the currants but on the knuckle test the currants come through very well. I think it just needs more time steeping.
Any criticism and or input would be greatly appreciated. Now that Namberjuice has closed their doors I have this burning desire to get this right finally and would appreciate any help.
One love and keep on vaping!

I decided to use the FA Cannoli one shot because that is a very good Cannoli but it needs a little bit of buttery goodness so I enhanced it with some WF Cannoli shell and then added some extra creamy sweet goodness by using a touch of LA cream cheese icing. I used FA King for my fruit and and boosted the berry note with a touch of FA boysenberry. Enjoy it’s easy and delicious 😋
This dessert is layered with a milk pudding and blackcurrant jelly pastilles and a touch of wizardry. FA King and FA Custard Premium are two of my favorite flavors so I hoped they would work together. I made this on a whim after watching thefogvlog Blackcurrant Showdown and it was good after a shake and Fa- King good to go the next day.
I used an RDA 0.3 Ohms, 55-60 Watts.
I took an old school blue raspberry technique (lemon+lime+berries) and jammed it, gummed it, candied it, sweetened it and pushed it to a point where I believe this is better than the commercial juice. The candies I added to this mix went impressively well with the fruits and made this more blue than I ever expected. I got that mixer feelings of, nothing is better and more satisfying mixing than the chance of something to go right and then it does. This is so much fun to vape so I had to share this lucky roll of a recipe. I am betting that the King Pazzo FA is the main transforming flavor because without it this recipe is not nearly as good or as blue.
