The classic Brazilian Guava Mousse recipe.
It's different than a bonafide french mousse, but it's certainly delicious.
I use FW Yogurt and CAP Italian Lemon Sicily to bring the smooth tartness that this recipe needs.
CAP Sweet Cream + FA Meringue + Creamy Yogurt are the creamy notes. You can replace CAP Sweet Cream for 1.5% of CAP Vanilla Whipped Cream for a sweeter vape.
FA Marshmallow brings more texture to the mix, making the vapor chewy.
After giving it a good shake, sit it in a warm bath for 30 minutes and it's good to go.
I wanted a slight spearmint note with a sweetened heavy cream. This is my attempt at it, and really my first attempt at making my own recipe period. I really dig this. It is great right off the shake, in fact, I almost prefer it right off the shake as you get a little bit more of the New York Cheesecake. Delicious. It steeps nicely and the mint does fade, but I still find it an enjoyable all day vape.
I wish I could give you more information about why I choose this flavor for this reason, but I'm really not into single flavor tasting. I just used the flavors that I have acquired from research. . . and recipes I've bought for. Watching Noted in particular and listening to what flavors ranked and what they could do brought me to this list for this recipe. I had intended to take the long road and alter percentages and try alternative flavors, but to be honest. . . . I really like this as it stands.
The one thing I can say is that the mint is mild in this. I might bump it up a .25% when I mix it next, but for the most part I think these are spot on for my taste and what I was going for.
If you do indeed try this recipe out, I encourage you to try it as it steeps. The changes in flavor are quite nice and really change from day to day.
I mixed this up one day thinking about Nutella, Graham Crackers, and Cream.
Bavarian Cream and Meringue are the Cream base.
Milk & Honey helps to accent the Graham Cracker and the Hazelnut. Also adds a little richness to the cream.
If you can think of a better name for this, leave it in the review and if I like it you get to name it.
This is my 1st recipe, so feel free to leave your opinions, suggestions, or shit all over it. I just wanted a sweet marshmallow that wasn't subtle. I have issues with taste, thanks to sinus problems.
Toasted marshmallow has a great flavor with a nice burnt sugar note
LL cereal offers added marshmallow-ness, and keeps the recipe on the drier side. The cereal note takes a backseat.
Meringue gives the mix a light, sugary, fluffiness.
Cotton candy adds that spun, sugar sweetness.
Sugar cookie holds it all together and beefs up the vanilla, frosty goodness
Vanilla swirl coats everything in cream while lifting the vanilla.
And all of this may be complete nonsense, but when I have a craving for something sweet and fluffy, this satisfies.
Laugh all you want at the ingredients and percentages, but this tastes like Captain Crunch. If that is what you want to vape, this is what will deliver that to you. Nothing out there delivers an authentic Captain Crunch base than FLV Crunch Cereal, and believe me, I have a whole shelf of cereal and corn flavorings to prove it. It's the sharp corn bite that is essential to the profile, that I cannot seem to get anywhere else.
Crunch Cereal has been panned heavily in the DIY Reddit, ranging from "it tastes like mushrooms" to "it's pure jizz." Like sure, by itself at 5% I get that. But blend it and it takes on a life of it's own. And I'll take your word for it on the jizz part.
This is essentially a mish mash of various ceral base receipes I have seen, with the FLV Crunch Cereal on top. The AP adds another sharp bite to mix. If you like to shove your mouth full of cereal to the point of causing trauma to your soft palate, this may be what you are looking for.
If you don't want vape juice that tastes like somone who ate a bowl of cereal burped on it, enjoy.
