Boysenberry Lemonde by @Outofhand is really good but i wanted to make it a bit more frutier and comercial sweet so added 1% CAP Sweet Currant, and Changed TPA Sweetener For CAP Super Sweet.
Im an icy vapes freak so ..
2% Ws-23 is not a big deal for me.
With this changes i think its like Boysenberry Lemonade on Steroids!
Lemon meringue pie with mascarpone cheese layer.
I wanted to post a lemon meringue recipe but at the same time to make it a bit different from the other ones published.
CAP Lemon Meringue pie is my go to, so it was an obvious choice.
FA lemon Sicily for me is the best lemon by far although it fades.
1% is all you need to support CAPs Lemon Meringue Pie.
The marscarpone Layer is made with HS Italian Cream wich is an awsame cream, its rich, thick and buttery but gets a bit cheesy wich here fits wonderfully.
And TPA Cheesecake with Graham Crust that adds more cheesecake flavour and a graham base for our crust.
CAP Golden Butter 0.5% just because its a key ingredient in pies and makes the graham base a bit more pie like.
And Finally FA Meringue one of my favourite flavourings and how can you not add Meringue to a Lemon Meringue pie?!
I wanted to try and see how close I could get to the an actually curd rather then a pudding or custard and I think this is pretty darn close to that sweet and sticky tart lemon curd. I am happy with this as it is pretty much what I had in mind.
This was mixed for the PRIDE fundraiser, for the Ali Forney center for LBGTQ homeless youth on Fresh03 channel https://youtu.be/5Xa1eZqfwK8
The Lemon Square is pretty much full on lemon curd with alight bakery but needs some support to help it fill out - so this is the base for this mix
Custard by FA is the perfect custard to bring out some of the egg notes with a light lemon note
Fe lemon, and lemon Sicily bring a solid realistic lemon and a nice bit of lemon zest. VT sour lemon helps to carry that lemon to the finish with a bit of a tart note
Orange marmalade helps to add some depth to the lemon with some sweetness and sticky mouth feel
27 bears supports the sticky mouth feel that you get from a curd ( thanks @mlNikon I think it worked well )
NOTE: I added .5% of cap sweetner to help bring out the top notes of the lemon , and it really helps to give that super sweet versus a tart contrast , you can also bump that VT sour lemon to 3% of you really want more of a tart note. That tart note will dissipate some so this is best vaped with in the week of mixing , if you like a sour mix/
A creamy, tangy and sweet lemon pudding.
Lemon Sicily and Juicy Lemon make a great lemon flavour in combination, with the tang from lemon sicily being smoothed out by the juicy lemon and creating a beautiful dessert lemon flavour.
I used Lemon Meringue Pie as a bridge into the creams (which form the pudding layer of the recipe), as it has a hint of creaminess and Meringue to add sweetness.
For the creams, I wanted something light, flavourful and sweet, but that wasn't overpowering and would support the lemon. This is a combination I have used to good effect in other recipes, and it seems to work well here.
VT pudding base rounds the whole thing off, adding a lovely mouth feel and roundness to the vape.
This needs a couple of weeks to steep and get to the sweet spot, but I have been trying it since I made it and it is really good so far.
I would appreciate any feedback! 😊
Edit: a friend has told me that this is extremely similar to/a clone of Milkman's Pudding. I haven't tried it, but if you have and you liked it, give this a go.
Looking for a nice sweet pod recipe? Look no further folks, we've got a tasty one here!
This recipe starts with the fantastic 3-2-1 strawberry trinity, follows it up with a delicious combo of pur/fa watermelons and finishes it off with some jelly candy.
This has become the favorites of several of my close friends and its the only thing my girlfriend vapes. It would be a shame not to share it!
Sweeten as desired. If you enjoy menthol flavors start at about .6% ( I use a 50/50 mix of ecx ws-23 and ecx menthol solution, .3% each, with great results)
For pods I use a 50/50 vg/pg ratio and a healthy dose of nicotine. If you want to sub ohm this recipe, you can raise the ratio and reduce the flavoring some since it wont have to rise above all that nicotine.
I was inspired to create this recipe after tasting a Local Juniper Gin crafted by SAs first Juice makers and it is By far hands down the Best Gin vape that I have had, ever. This Juice is called VM Juniper and was crafted by Benji from Vapour Mountain.
With my last bottle of the above Juniper running very low, I decided to create my own Juniper and it was based off a Craft Gin that I mixed and tasted at a Gin farm in Cape Town.
Using FLV Juniper Gin to bring the very authentic Juniper Flavour I kept it on the lower end as I enjoy a subtle boozy note and wanted all aspects to shine and compliment this Gin. with the Black tea added to compliment the herbal back notes of the Juniper and this all then infused with some sweet blood orange!
I used my new favorite 'liquidizer', Cucumber! in combination with a little Citrus soda and WS23 to give a cool soda/tonic mixer. Cucumber also has a very complimentary flavor at higher % that works Very well with a Gin.
As Always I'd say yes, But here I would say Hell Yass! It just compliments everything as if the only sweetner is from the Blood Orange!
I personally feel this needs the few days steep for the Stronger Herbal notes of the Juniper to settle and mellow down to where I like it.
I borrowed pretty liberally from Daz Cole's Lemon Tart Remix for my lemon, I subbed out Cap LMP for FW for extra richness and added a touch of FE Lemon to round out the flavor.
My richer quick custard is next with the LB VIC, FLV VP, and Cap NYCC.
Rounding out this monstrosity is OOO Pie Crust and WF Croissant for a rich buttery crust.
3-5 day max steep, definitely Shake and Vape
Tested on a wasp nano, .3ohm fused clapton, 55 watts.
