Yet another recipe, that looks like it has far too many flavours in, but my oh my do they all come together beautifully in this Strawberry Lime Cider mix!!! Three limes, three strawberries, and a dash of lemon, and this is good enough to drink from the bottle!!
Give it a go, and let me know what you think!!
Here is my take on “kola cubes”
A Red Cola flavoured hard boiled sweet covered in sugar.
I suggest diluting the FLV red cinnamon down to a 10% dilution in PG make it more workable. ATF does not have red cinnamon 10% dilution in the database.
FA blackcurrant adds another side to the fruityness needed to differentiate between a drink and a candy and also adds a bit of that jammy/jelly mouthfeel
Molinberry pink raspberry adds that tart red fruit with a non-realistic candy like taste.
The tart and sour Just pushes everything over to a candy profile and tarts it all up very nicely.
I have gone through so many variations of grape recipes to finally get here. The Grape Juice & White Grape combo is great - but can easily read as sweet wine, which is useful, but not what I was going for. I did want a darker grape, without using Grape Concorde. I wanted it to read as a slightly sweetened, blended grape drink that is somewhat authentic, and somewhat sweetened & flavoured.
FE Grape - lovely mix between authentic, and slightly candy. Works great to add another layer to my grape
FA White - adds a smidge of body, surypy sweetness
TPA Grape Juice - this is mostly the base of the trinity, extremely underated grape
FA Black Currant - was added very low to bring some body, as most grapes can read quite flat - it also adds a bit of purple to the paler grapes.
Sweeten & Cool as you prefer - my suggestions here is for a more commercial feel sweet grape juice. The WS23 I use is a 20% dilution.
My entry for mixer's club from the reddit diy ejuice for dec '18. I was surprised by the reception that was positive. This is still a work in progress because I feel like there's still some places I'd like to take this especially based on the feedback I got.
FA Gin & Blackcurrant. This started right out of the box with a pairing of FA Gin and Black Currant. If you want a simple berry cocktail, I'd try FA gin at 2% with Black currant at 1%. I enjoyed this for some time because I felt the citrus notes gave me a grapefruit-y feel and I decided to pursue that in adding the next layers. To me, this has been my base start for all my gin drinks. FA Gin is described as juniper heavy and booze light. I love it. i bumped it up to 3% here because at 2% with the other flavors it just wasn't shining through enough. In simpler mixes, I always keep it at 2%.
CAP Mixed berry & TPA DragonFruit - This was added to give a nondescript boost to the berry flavor in the profile and add a touch of sweetness. DF was added because the whole thing got too dry. You could probably swap the MB with different fruits for a change and DF out with whatever you prefer to use to add juiciness. I went with tried and true and it worked fine enough I didn't feel the need to uncover those rocks.
CAP Sweet Guava - added to boost the grapefruit notes, sweetness and to play off the berries. I think it worked well here and probably wouldn't swap it out, myself. It maybe wasn't as successful in boosting the grapefruit notes as it was in just making this a more rounded vape.
INW Lemon Mix & FA Lime Tahity CP - This ratio (0.25:0.5) is my standard lemon/lime wedge for drinks. It's aggressive and lasts through a steep, (though the lime fades more for me). This is swappable in my opinion. DIY, baby.
Coolant - I felt Polar blast worked well here. Adjust to taste.
Variant: Adding 2-3% VT Botanical Gin and lowering FA Gin to 2% makes this a much boozier vape. Adding 2% VT tonic water for a more realistic cocktail taste but without that effervescent pop.
Enjoy and leave feedback/suggestions as you like. It's always appreciated.
This is a nice Buttery delectable Blueberry Muffin. The Raspberry and black currant add nice bit of tart to recipe. The butter adds what I like when I make a muffin that moist buttery taste. The cream cheese is a nice topping of glaze. Reminds me of a muffin I’d get from a Budnt cake bakery. Steep 3 days for the flavors to all come together. Mixed at 70/30. If you like it sweet like I do add .25 of supersweet. Or .5. Of Flv sweetness. Reviews are always welcomed. Thanks Enjoy.
Lemon creamy goodness with hints of blueberry.
I wanted to create this as the picture depicts. A creamy desert. Lemon ice cream like but not custard. I invisioned milk and heavy whipping cream based home made lemon ice cream with a little blueberry drizzle. To me the blueberry would only be a slight taste because it’s only a slight drizzle and mostly a semi sweet heavy whipped lemon ice cream base. I used black currant to keep the blueberries bright and the combination of blueberry extra and blueberry wild is a light blueberry combination that isn’t too much on the candy side I added a LA Lemonade because it’s a candy lemon flavor. I used tfa custard because it isn’t as vanilla heavy or as eggy as the other options. I enhanced it with cheesecake graham crust for texture and FA Custard for the Creamy lemon zest notes I added Vanilla Gelato because it has a real good ice cream type cream notes. A touch of yogurt brings a thickness to the ice cream without adding egg notes that heavy custard would bring. I have no idea what brought a buttery note to the table but there is definitely a buttermilk flavor in this mix.
Sweeten to taste. I personally think it would be good anywhere between 0.50% to 1.0% depending on your sweet tooth. (I used 0.5% FW sweetener)
Go donate and happy celebrations to everyone !
The oatmeal bar is based on TFA Oatmeal Cookie and INW Biscuit.
The richness of the bakery comes from TFA Brown Sugar, FA Maple Syrup and CAP Golden Butter.
The Cranberry is built around FLV Cranberry and CAP Grapefruit for the red and vibrant fruit, FA Blackcurrant for the jam texture and darkness of baked fruit.
And FLV Sweet Coconut you ask? It's a very neat trick to smooth out too sharp edges and round a recipe.
(Aditional 0.50% 0f WS23 and 0.50% sweetener optional) I added WS23 to mine and my vaping friends wanted it sweeter but I didn’t. It’s up to you if you want it sweeter and cold.
I called this Wutdafo because it changes from a burgundy gummy bear to a dark berry tea and bourbon mix depending on the heat you vape it at. Have you ever used Tea as a chaser to a mixed drink? This is like the bourbon and tea version of a dark berry sangria. I find that black currant and fresh fig are unique because they are both dark yet bright fruits flavors, Monsoon add some extra dark in nature berry notes along with a candy aspect and a slight floral note that accents the red tea very nicely. I added the sweet tangerine to bring in the added note of a sweet orange as to mimic a slight squeez into the drink and a slice of orange on the rim for a garnish, but instead it accented the candy notes from the monsoon. Vanilla swirl is serves more as a backnote and smoothing finish to this mix and adds mouthfeel. Pictures like this allow me to express my artistic mixing abilities without holding back my true mixing style. I like to mix dark intriguing complex juices that are not like your every day all day type mixes. If your into something different give this a shot it’s very good and mystical in its own way kind of like the picture.
