5 DIY E-Liquid Recipes found

I bough a 120 of blood orange early in my mixing liking the real orange. Little did i know what w fun flavor it is to mix.Tried a few mixes always coming out harsh. After watching and learning about mixing This is the recipe that tamed the orange.

This one has an odd genesis. Watched this back in 2016: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7noLAUMuosg. The names unicorn puke and dragon jizz sent me on a research bender. Nope. No dragon jizz to be found anywhere, other than in google image search.

Damn furries. ;P

Oddly enough, found an image belonging to a commercially available juice called Unicorn Jizz. http://stores.goodasgoldpremium.com/unicorn-jizz-ejuice/.
Couldn't bring myself to try it. Too tropical in my head for unicorns.

So, after a long discussion with friends of mine who are furries, started joking about making some. This is not the Dragon Jizz (that's still a WIP). But, since my 'sona is a cross between a kitsune, and a unicorn, and has a candy corn horn? Started noodling out what the hell that'd taste like. So here we are:

Orange, creamy as hell, and a hint of candy corn.

Now I just gotta find a dragon. It's for science >.>

Fuzion had a flavor called "Orphan Blood" described as a orange raspberry sherbet. Only problem for me when I discovered it (and yes, I friggin' squeed when I saw it), was that the lowest they offered it at was 6 mg. At the time, I was very new but committed to my vaping habit to get me the hell off my smoking habit. But, I mentally bookmarked it for when I got down to 6 mg, since I was at 12. Figured it'd only take me like 2 months. I was right. So, with baited breath, I went to order some when I was finally sliding down to 6.

No longer on the page. It was like it never existed.

Soooo, I went prowling for reviews, and only found the one. And the guy could barely taste the raspberry?

And now, here we are. Think it's pretty good, but eh, I'll let you make the call.

Good as a SNV. Better with age. Can't verify if it's any better after 14 days, as I've never had it last that long.

So what is rainbow sherbet? Traditionally I believe Sherbet, is made with orange, pineapple, lemon, lime, and raspberry Several reasons I didn't go with pineapple or lime. Pineapple and lime, are both highly acidic, and with the already acidic Orange in this recipe, it would have been a real pain in the ass to balance out.

I also believe the sweetness of mango fits the profile much better. I'm fully aware that mango has been Beat to Death, lately but summer is coming to an end, and soon enough we'll be basking in the glory of custards, creams, and bakeries once again, but a fruity ice cream this can be Vaped year round.

FLV mango + LB blue raspberry

FLV mango- is not something I have played around with too much, it has had a lot of great reviews, and has made an appearance in some of the best recipes of the year to date. It seems the downside is it's a little watery, and can take away from the texture of many recipes. I personally did not notice any watering down of this cream base.

Lb blue raspberry - I picked this flavoring for several reasons, for one it does in part a blue flavor, or what my brain perceives as blue because I've eaten way too many Otter Pops in my youth.. On top of on top of that it's a great raspberry flavoring, and the others in my Arsenal just did fit.

TFA sweet raspberry is my go-to but I believe it contains ethyl maltol, which was muting other flavors, and balancing it was becoming problematic.

INW raspberry fit better but is a temperamental concentrate, and tends to overpower everything. I think it could be a suitable replacement if you do not have liquid barns blue raspberry. But 2% is definitely too high I liked it best at .5%.

And that's the list of raspberries I currently own. Would love to hear love any substitutions that work.

For the rest of the flavor notes check out the original recipe. I do have to admit to cheating a little on the Steep time, I had a fully steeped batch of my orange vanilla sherbet, and tossed these flavors on top of that. Hopefully they don't fade too much wall aging. Thank you for reading and please if you mix this up feedback and criticism are very appreciated.

TFA apricot + FW Orange dream Bar

Flavor West dream bar on its own has a great orange flavor. This concentrate separates just a little bit, which leads me to believe, they're using their blood orange in this concentrate. One of the best orange flavoring on the market, but It does have its problems it's extremely zesty, and not very juicy.

I was discussing this problem with shindo on Discord, and I suggested he added apricot, to make more of an orange juice flavor. It just so happened at that time I was working on this recipe and thought what the hell let's give it a shot. Didn't really work as a S & V, tasted like a dreamsicle that had been rolled in Tang.

So I set it aside gave it some time and came back to it after 3 weeks. What a difference time can make the apricot settled down and Blended in with the orange perfectly giving it a juicer flavor. Which is perfect for this profile.

FW Orange dream bar+ LA cream cheese icing + CAP vanilla bean ice cream + FLV marshmallow

Flavor West Orange dream bar, has a fantastic vanilla ice cream base to it. Just lacking a little in texture. To fluff this up FLV marshmallow works wonders. This was one of the tweaks I added to the recipe after a steep and a little research big shout-out to fear and bloody Mingo sherbert.

One of the great things about this hobby is you don't have to know everything, and there are a ton talented mixers, whose experience and flavor notes can be a fantastic resource for recipe development.

I decided to add CAP vanilla bean ice cream to the mix, it has a much stronger vanilla flavor, and a completely different ice cream flavor, if I had to describe it in three words I would say battery and smooth.

LA cream cheese icing sweetums up the profile and adds a smooth, and slightly malty cream cheese accent.

Cap super sweet

Okay I'll admit it I was one of those people that avoided sweeteners like the plague. Once I got over my aversion to sweetener, and realized when used in small percentages, they can really help brighten a recipe. And that's exactly what it does here brightens up the orange and vanilla making for a very enjoyable vape.

I'm going to assume most of you don't have flavor West Orange dream bar in Your Arsenal. If that's the case cap orange creamsicle should do the trick. I have both and they are very similar flavorings.

On the chance you don't have either I am 98% sure orange dream bar, is simply blood orange, and vanilla bean ice cream put together into one flavor. I almost rework the recipe knowing that I could recreate this concentrate out of flavorings everybody should have.

I would use flavor West vanilla bean ice cream, around 4% and flavor West blood orange, between .5% and 1%. These are completely substitutions, and would love to hear feedback from anybody who tries them.

Cap vanilla bean ice cream could be subbed out for HS French vanilla ice cream.

FLV marshmallow should be subbed out for fa marshmallow I would bring it up a quarter of a percent.

Steep time is a must for this one as an S&V it's not unvapable, but everything is very separate, and needs time to come together.

Now if you're impatient like me and three weeks is just too long, one drop MTS Vape wizard / 10 mL should speed up the process.

Again completely untested, but in my experience this additive can work wonders at blending flavors together.

This is one of those recipes that has evolved from an attempt at one thing into something else. First it was to be a dream bar recipe using flavor West dream bar as the base. After a good step realized with a few tweeks would make an excellent sherbert recipe. hope you enjoy if you mix it up thank you and please leave some feedback.
