Fool's Gold has been a challenge since Sep 2020 to May 2021. RY4 is one of my favorite profiles and Fool's Gold is definitely my most perfect recipe. It was heavily inspired by Obsidian from DIYORDIE. It has been through a couple of submission's to Wayne's "Midweek Critique" and by listening to the critiques and putting my own touch to it, I believe I have now achieved what I can now consider the final version.

Fool's Gold first version [https://e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/3772952? 3.75/5 on Midweek Critique] was a recipe I was loving to vape but after 2 weeks of steep it was feeling too muddle. It was not having off notes but it was not reaching where I wanted it to reach. Once again after hearing Wayne's critiques, I came back to the board with it. On the second version [https://e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/3797154? - 4.25/5 on Midweek Critique] I already thought I was done but a slight decrease on Bavarian Cream made a huge difference on the long term of the recipe and switching from VCv2 to VCv1 gave it more body.

Flavor notes:

Bavarian Cream TPA / Vanilla Custard CPA - I saw Solitude by Vapeboar, which uses Bavarian Cream with RY4 and I had never thought of it. It was a needed tweak for the recipe! Bavarian Cream and Vanilla Custard add that body, thickness and also sweetness.

Butterscotch Ripple FW - It adds a nice back flavor and complexity to body of the recipe.

Cookie FLV / Cookie Bite Molinberry - Cookie Bite, Cookie Bite, Cookie Bite. First time I used the flavor and I loved the outcome. Just these two powerful aromas paired together can make a juice so they were used carefully in order to give the cookie aspect of the recipe.

Cured Tobacco FLV / RY4 Double TFA - A crucial pairing for what I wanted to do. RY4 alone wouldn't go where I wanted it to go and since I love Cured Tobacco, decided to give it a try. I am proud of making that decision.

Super Sweet CAP - Well, Super Sweet... It's optional. Totally not necessary in this recipe.

I always shake and vape my recipes but this one definitely benefits from shelf time. Bavarian Cream and Cured Tobacco are too muddle in the first days. After 2 weeks it is almost there but it shines after 4 weeks.

Designed for MTL, tested on a Hadaly.

A delicious key lime cookie with a creamy white chocolate finish. Read to the bottom as there are 2 subs\versions of this recipe. Worked on this a while, if the last year+ wasn't so straight up fucked up for me and people around me this probably would've been out before last Xmas. But, shit happens and better late than never right? This is the only recipe of mine that I would highly recommend if it looks or sounds good to you: mix more than normal, you won't regret it 🤤

Steep: Vapeable overnight if you don't like Steeping, way better after 5 days, optimal at 10-14.

The layers:

Lime: I like TFA key lime and was accidentally sent an extra 15ml bottle so it gave me some more wiggle room. Nachef uses it high like this in joker I believe, most use it very low. I needed to make sure it came through while not getting too harsh. Experiments with fa, both of them, VT persian (a great lime) all resulted in too much throat hit with not enough punch to get through the cookie and white chocolate cream. Adding a little bit of a potent lemon proved to be the trick imo. Was a shortlist to start and I found fe lemon and VT sour lemon to be the best.

Cookie: Who doesn't like or at least have cap sugar cookie?? It's not great on it's own unless you're going very basic or want to get into a weird muting balancing act. I think it starts to mute a bit much over 3% and that is not always a bad thing. It eats a bit of throat hit from the lime. Not much, but worked much better than trying to smooth it over with unnecessary shit.
Note: I also found out in development 2 drops of tpa smooth will TOTALLY eat a great cookie texture and flavor for breakfast. Great for throat hit reduction and actually left the lime layer in tact as well as white chocolate.
To boost it I ended up with fa if you want it unsweetened or Sweet Betsy if you have it works for a sweeter version and imo gives it a better cookie flavor. Cap crunchy frosted cookie is just a lie. Jf kept turning it into a damn pie (which is good as hell, but not my goal). I already know what inw and jf biscuits do (see: tart). Those damn lactone filled bastards with great texture, fuck off 😂.

White chocolate: You need flv white chocolate if you want to be serious about white chocolate. Great flavor. Only thing it misses is that it can be a little chalky if I'm nit picking, which I am. Really that's all I needed to "fix" with it. I ended up having to keep bumping this up, which is how I arrived where I did. In most applications I feel you can get by with about half as much, but don't be afraid to push it if needed.
VT love adds to the richness and almost firms up the white chocolate body in the same way I feel MB glamour chocolate would work if your regular chocolate recipe was too syrupy. Why fix what's not broken though? Flv at that % should be plenty thick right? Yeah. But I wasn't done fkng with it yet:

Cream:
Ever since getting it I've been enamored with WF white chocolate (milky cream). It's interesting. It's a nice cream flavor that's for sure. Solo white chocolate? Ehhhh that's pushing it, but I've also never tried pushing it to breaking point. After I mixed it with another white chocolate though I see why they named it the way they did instead of just milky cream. This adds another layer, the creamy finish. Pushing it much higher in this recipe started to make other things fall apart, and low enough to just cover the chalkiness of the flv white chocolate works BUT there's also this middle ground. I also just plain love a good cream finish in my vape.

Sweetener: Totally optional but it's pretty sweet with the white chocolate and sugar cookie. I like it with the sweet Betsy cookie being used as a sweetener with purpose (see subs below) but a little ss or fw sweetener works as well.

There are 2 subs that will work in the recipe:
fe lemon and VT sour lemon, at the roughly the same % achieve the same goal. In development my partner in crime at the time preferred it with the fe, while I liked it with the VT, if subbing with VT punch it to 0.5%
FM sweet Betsy cookie at same % as the fa cookie gives a great vape, but if you don't like sweetener then you won't like it. If you do make this sub and you're sensitive to lactones becoming coconut-y I suggest not using the sweet Betsy cookie above 1.5%. if you need it commercial sweeter than that add some sucralose. Even with the muting that the sugar cookie is doing that flavor at 1.7% made it stick out to me.

I've worked on this on and off for over a year vaping a version the whole time either personally or someone very close. and there's still 2 versions. It's fucking done..

Thanks for reading and enjoy! Happy mixing 😎💨💨

I decided to make a second rendition of my ADV Dewberry Yo-Gurt das good recipe by swapping TPA Honeydew with FLV Mango and CAP Sweet Mango and the end result was more than surprising in the best way possible. I know for sure this one will be taking the lead for a while! Try the Undeniable goodness that is mango berry yogurt with whipped cream

A pretty good vanilla vape. im liking it. All it needs is one more thing to be perfect… maybe a cookie or some kind of fruit or cake

Vanilla Custard STUFFED Glazed Doughnut, an homage to my original recipe, A Better Glazed Doughnut. that recipe was very hit and miss with some due to cap glazed donut on its own giving off that playdough vibe. this combo of cap wf tfa help that go away some for those sensitive to it, and at the same time add some more depth to the donut flavor in the recipe.

shake and vapeable, but probably best after a week or two steeping.

SUPER SIMPLE POD OR MTL RECIPE MADE WITH EASILY OBTAINABLE INGREDIENTS. LA WATERMELON BECAUSE I LIKE IT AND IT'S A SWEET AND SLIGHTLY CANDIED. WF ISLAND MANGO BECAUSE A WATERMELON MANGO COMBO IS DELICIOUS. FA STRAWBERRY TO GIVE THIS MELON COMBO A TOUCH OF FRUITY BERRIED GOODNESS, AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST FA FUJI APPLE TO BRING SOME JUICYNESS TO THIS RECIPE.
Feel free to remove or change to the sweetener of your choice. I put it in for newer mixers that may not know how to add or change a recipe.
ALL HAIL IDUN!!

A pineapple cream soda with a hint of infused vanilla cream and whipped cream sitting on top of the drink. This vapes nice and smooth.

Polar blast was added to make it a cold drink. Adjust to your liking.

Developed on the Barrage RDA with a single N80 tri-core coil. I primarily use this in the Vaporesso PM80 SE with the 0.3 ohm coil.

Shake and vape is a go and it gets better after a few days.

If you mix this, I would love to read your feedback.

Watermelon splash, rum and pineapple with a sweet watermelon exhale. Perfect for the summer months and a nice simple mix.

Certified shake and vape, would work well with some Ws-23.

A Delicious Treat. A Red Apple Dipped in Candied Butterscotch with Coconut Flakes! Mix, Shake, Vape and Enjoy!!

The closest I’ve tried to a full on Cinnabun with creamy icing drizzle. I usually vape this straight off the shake for a more “icing forward” vape however the cakeyness comes out the more you let it steep (5 days Max).
Please leave your feedback on my work, happy mixing guys and stay safe 💙
