Smooth watermelon with a hint of pineapple and a soft candy/taffy edge.
This recipe is a 'remixed' version of an older recipe of mine (https://e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/3451967/drag%20the%20waters) created back in February, although remixing one's own work would just be developing a recipe I guess.... Anyways, I made a 30ml of it recently and while I thought it was pretty good at the time, revisiting it made me realize there was definitely room to improve. When I created that recipe I did not have MB big but I felt it would fit here. Sour gummy candy and strawberry taffy work well but their percentages needed to be adjusted. INW dragonfruit was ok but I felt what it brought to the mix could be reevaluated and other concentrates could fill the gaps better. Shisha strawberry ended up being unnecessary in the end.
Couple of caveats here- I do not get a strong strawberry flavor from the CAP taffy, it is used more for weight in the candy base. I do have issues tasting some strawberries though so this flavor may bleed through differently in your mix. Conversely I can pick up FLV sour apple quite easily so I added it in at a very low percentage, feel free to bump it a tad if you are not as sensitive to its flavor.
The watermelon combo is the cornerstone of this mix with MBs flavor setting up the WF as a secondary concentrate that brings another dimension to our main note and carries a candied/gummy edge. Next I went with FLV sour apple using it for a tart/sour/ acidic note to break up the linear flavor of the watermelon and staying with the candy theme. I stated above why it is used so low, you may choose to bump it up a tad to get a bit more of the concentrate to shine through. Complimenting what the sour apple brings with pineapple sweetness and acidity as well as a touch of candied flavor, VT sugarloaf completes this mix leaving me with a sweet and flavorful finishing note trailing on the exhale.
When I initally mixed this I didn't use dragonfruit and got quite an interesting result. Watermelon was the prominent flavor on the inhale, but I had what seemed to be bits of the other flavors popping in and out. While this was kind of unique having a pseudo 'layered' effect, it was a bit tiring on my palate after a few drags being as flavor saturated as this mix is. Adding the dragonfruit gave me the cohesion I was looking for, wrapping this mix into a super flavorful candy vape.
As always sweeten to taste but being a candy-ish profile I used super sweet a touch higher than I usually would giving a bit of a 'sugar lips' finish.
WS23 may work here (~0.5 to 1%) as well but sitting in the 60's at the moment I'm not looking for cooling.
A true SnV as this is killer off the rip, overnight steep just gives a tad more time for everything meld together.
Bright and Fruity Light rainbow ice cream for this week's Mixin Vixen's Show. Used Jf Blueberry for a nice basey blueberry to balance the brightness of InW Lemons Kick.

With this hot weather we're having in the uk I wanted something simple n cold.
This tastes very similar to strawberry fanta.
Inw Shisha strawberry is the base to our strawberry flavour.
Cap strawberry taffy at 2.5% dosent bring too much of a flavour to the mix but it helps push shisha strawberry to become a very candy like flavour.
Fa cherry is here to just deepen the flavour slightly.
Ws23 to make it cold, adjust to your taste.
I don't use any sweetener but feel free to add if you want it.
A gummy mosh pit.. Grape, peach, raspberry, watermelon, and strawberry gummified. This is a different take on the og skull candy which is one of my favorite adv's..The flv peach gummy really compliments flv grape and tfa grape juice. cap strawberry taffy/wf strawberry gummy/ wf sour ball candy/ fw razzleberry create a slightly tart chewy gummy base while tfa raspberry sweet and la watermelon help round it out and add some complexity. I like the original but the redux is easily my favorite of the two. This one could use a 7-8 day steep for everything to show up but it is pretty good off the shake.
Vape the rainbow.. I have been trying different iterations of this profile and finally have one that I am really enjoying. It's not finished but as is it's refreshing, candied, and lightly sweet (add some additional sweetener for a sweeter vape) . This is a shake and vape but a day or two rounds it out as well as allowing the chewy candy center to break through. If your a traditionalist and want some grape to complete the rainbow then you can add grape flv at 1.50%.
I tweaked the recipe minimally on 5/25..It now has just a bit more punch to it.
It was the summer of 2018 and I was about 6 months into my DIY journey when I threw this recipe together with an equally small amount of flavorings, knowledge and notes. It was ‘candied’ and ‘sweet’ I was pursuing, and it had to be creamy too. Almost 2yrs. and hundreds of other mixes have passed and I still enjoy this as one of my first successful ventures. Give it a go, I think you’ll be glad ya did!
This is a mixed fruit candy with a light taffy effect (think airheads) that I am really enjoying. Raspberry, strawberry, grape, peach, and watermelon combine to make one of my personal favorites. This started as a reimagining of one of my favorite store bought Eliquid's which is a grape peach hard candy (from Stache Vape) that I have been vaping for years and it morphed into skull candy. I actually like this more, I can vape it all day without loosing flavor and it's great on coils. I hope you enjoy it and leave feedback if you are so inclined. It's great as a SnV but 4-5 days and it really pops.
