So watching the Great British Bake off - one of the challenges was to make a lemon treacle tart . Which is basically LOTS of golden syrup , bread crumbs, butter, egg yolks, a little lemon juice and zest and in a tart crust
I was intrigued and wanted to try it so we made one and I am in love!! Golden syrup is a major ingredient for this tart and it is not available in the US - so amazon to the rescue . One recipe I found called for a 1 1/2 LBS of golden syrup. Hence the name for the recipe
WF Lemon custard is a light lemon, with a touch of vanilla and a lovely silky custard mouth feel, the body fills out as it steeps. The soft mouth feel is just lovely . The lemon is a base to mid note so if you really want LEMON you will need to add to it
The combination of WF lemon custard and Lemon sour work well for lemon notes in this mix the lemon custard is a mild and sits in the front and middle of this mix with a the lemon sour bringing a lemon zesty at the exhale.
WF Pineapple candy is used low here to bring some of the citrus sweetness and support the curd like texture of the mix
Sugar cookie and pudding base are used to bring this mix together with the golden syrup and add some bakery texture . Pudding base has a starch like body that does not have any additional spice notes. Sugar cookie fills in this mix and add some texture.
Pie crust by OOO is a really nice simple plain pie crust that works on its own with out much support and is subtle in the mix at the exhale
Note: I do think that FA custard could be used here instead of WF lemon custard as it does have a light lemon note - but the silky mouth feel of this WF lemon custard is lovely and works really well . This is a Make your teeth hurt dessert so I did add .50% of Cap super sweet to mine - but it is not needed

FW Yellow Cake, TPA Sweet Cream, TPA Vanilla Cupcake - this gives you nice, vanilla, fluffy pancakes, not too sweet. Just right.

Of course you can't forget about melted butter and maple syrup on your breakfast pancakes - CAP Golden Butter and TPA Maple Syrup are just perfect for the job.
Recipe high in DAAP, but that gives it that flavour oomph :)

This is my take on the classic Austrian dessert. Cinnamon and rum infused apples baked in a dough. The recipe was inspired by Cinapple Fritter [DIYorDIE].
When vaped it gives a warm apple and cinnamon taste with a hint of a buttery dough at the background.
Try adding 2-3% (CAP) Double Apple for more intense apple flavour.
Driving along puffing Lemon Tart Remixed i came up with the idea to make an almond vape out of it.
And it ended up beeing to delicious not to share.
The idea was to take out the lemon parts and replace them with almond dito's.
FA Almond and a splash of INW Marzipan felt natural. FA Torrone came as an afterthought.
It was very good already there. Having vaped 30 ml i added TFA Azetyl Pyrazine just to se what happend.
Deep fried banana slices, butterscotch and graham cracker.
This recipe is inspired by one of my friends favourite eliquid which is Fryd Bananas.
I wanted to create one myself and not remixing the original but being close to the profile.
Deep Fried Banana Slices :
WF Deep Fried plantain is a semi cooked banana flavour with brown sugar and some spice but is a quite weak on the banana flavour and needs some more additions to be great.
But one thing i like is that after 2 weeks steep has some fried and bready tasting that is really accurate to the profile.
So to complete the Banana i added :
TPA Banana Cream as its my favourite and also adds a good amount of creamy banana sweetness.
And FA Banó to give more "freshness" to the banana mix as it is a greener kind of banana.
With this 3 we have our Sweet Banana Slices cooked in brown sugar. A bit raw a bit cooked, makes the banana closer to the real thing.
FW Butterscotch Ripple: is my go to as its creamy, easy to use.. was obvious for me to choose this one.
The original FRYED on its description says : " buttery cream" but i prefered to use CAP Golden Butter to create that Deep Fried Buttery Banana.
The spice on WF DFPlantain is a bit non descript so to make it better the profile called for FLV Rich Cinnamon which is awsame, sweet , warm, strong .. its perfect.
FW Graham Cracker: Bananas get better with graham cracker specially on the exhale, it just makes them better, and here has a double duty, making bananas better and suporting the fried, bready texture as well as giving a nice graham cracker after taste.
Yo can SNV it as its pretty tasty but its better when rich cinnamon calms down a bit after 3 days and waaay better after 10 days.
