A lightly toasted PB & raspberry jam sammy.

This is the final version. Big thanks to Foment and Wolf for the inspiration and guidance and Foment for the perfect white bread. You can find the description from this Mixers Club submission and the previous one below.

May 2021 - Florals

This isn't a floral submission, but it's a version of my duets recipe from February that I believe is improved with input from reviews, and I would like your thoughts yet again.

I have been really enjoying the TPA/SSA PB combo and used that here, dropping the FW Hazelnut and FLV Beer Nuts. It's used real low, because it was really taking over here. I went another way with the raspberry and plugged VT Raspberry Jam in here instead of FLV Red Raspberry and INW Shisha Raspberry. I also did away with the CAP Jelly Candy and brought the OOO Powdered Sugar from Saito in.

I hope you enjoy it!

You can see my previous version here:

Still a work in progress, but I'm happy with it where it is now.

March 2021 - Sunshine

When I think of sunshine I think of the time I lived in Phoenix, AZ. I also think about tasty drinks on a nice patio.

There used to be this little place called Sierra Bonita (R.I.P. Thanks 2020) that my ex and I loved to go grab brunch once in a while when I happened to have a weekend off. On top of the bangin' Mexican food they served a mean drink. My favorite was their Paloma with a cayenne rim.

This is my attempt to relive that a little bit. This doesn't vary too greatly from it's early iterations. The only real big change here was trying to pump the grapefruit up a bit to hold up against everything else and a little bit of cactus, which I usually hate. I can taste it in anything it's in and it's gotten stale. Here I think it blended in well enough to help the recipe along and hide in the background with the citrus and tequila.

I hope you enjoy it! 🔥

Feel free to add more Heat if you are so inclined. I haven't tried this with cooling, but if that's your thing I'm sure some WS-23 would be just fine.

Sanctum won't stop bothering me about posting this, so here it is. The addition of FW Sweetener is thanks to him and it really helps this one out.

February 2021 - Duets

This is a duet using ID10-T's 1 2 3 Ocean Water and Commodore Mango.

https://alltheflavors.com/recipes/94826#1_2_3_ocean_water_by_id10_t

https://alltheflavors.com/recipes/199249#commodore_mango_by_id10_t

I've had a special sort of love for 1 2 3 Ocean Water since I first mixed it. Not having a Sonic anywhere near me after moving away from Arizona last year, this one really hits the spot.

What could be better than that delicious and ridiculously blue drink? What if we threw a little mango in the mix? I'm a sucker for some mango, lime, and coconut. Cue Commodore Mango. With everything else going on I only really wanted to borrow the mangoes here.

After an initial attempt I decided to thumb in some WF Island, because while the mangoes were good, I love the trinity. After adding WF the mango was definitely overpowering everything else in the recipe so I decided to drop them all by 25%. This felt much better and I got more of the ocean water from the mix.

I was happy with it, but I felt it was still lacking a little something. I tossed a little FA Florida Key Lime at it and I really liked the result. I feel like it made the citrus pop and toned down the mango a bit more.

I would imagine you could add any sort of cooling you'd like if that's your bag. I hope you enjoy it.

Tested at 63 watts on a C4 using a SS316L 28ga SFQ coil, 4mm I.D., 5 wraps coming in at .21 ohms.

Mixed at 70/30 using River VG/PG.

This was originally intended to be a Mixers Club submission for February 2021 - Duets. I ended up submitting something different, but I've continued to mix this one up since and wanted to share it. This is a duet comprised of :

This recipe is killer. I have yet to keep a bottle around for more than a few days past the recommended steep time. This recipe is why I ordered bigger bottles. Perfect.

If you tell me there's a better raspberry jelly filled donut recipe out there, you're a filthy liar. This has made it into my regular rotation and is an amazing representation of the profile. You owe it to yourself to mix this one up.

This is without a doubt the best strawberries and cream recipe I've ever tried. I made it through 1ml before I said screw it and whipped up a 120. Everything about this recipe is perfect. The strawberries are very present and sit just right in an incredibly wonderful cream. I need more stars to give.

I've never had the original and I wouldn't necessarily think I would want banana and licorice together, but this is really good. I love it.
User: Spdrjrslm Score: 5 Entered: 3 months ago
I really love this one. The coconut and pear work together beautifully and the graham and creamy vanilla are amazing. Loving the textures here. One of my favorites when I want something a little lighter than my usual.

A spot on egg nog shake. It has all the egg nog spice with a great creamy milkshake backing it up. Delicious.
User: Spdrjrslm Score: 5 Entered: 3 months ago
I have to give it five stars. It's spot on. I'm not sure I'll mix up a big batch for myself, but if you are into your standard Boston cream donut this is perfect for you.

Saito is definitely my favorite of the two, but this is killer as well. Nice and sweet and plenty bright cranberry jelly filling in a fantastic powdered donut. Great work!
User: Spdrjrslm Score: 5 Entered: about 1 month ago
This is perfect. The black currant and Arabian are perfect for each other and everything is balanced so well. Incredibly delicious. Great work.
User: Spdrjrslm Score: 5 Entered: about 1 month ago
Lovely syrupy sweet peachy goodness with a solid tobacco. Love it!
User: Spdrjrslm Score: 5 Entered: about 1 month ago
Easily one of the best coconut tobaccos I've tried so far. You're killing it with these tobacco recipes.
User: Spdrjrslm Score: 5 Entered: about 1 month ago
Sweet, fruity, funky, and thick. I'll definitely be coming back to this frequently.
User: Spdrjrslm Score: 5 Entered: about 1 month ago
Spot on. The icing is super sweet and definitely red. The donut is more subtle, but it's fantastic. Great work!
User: Spdrjrslm Score: 5 Entered: about 1 month ago
I love the peppermint and licorice combo. The mouthfeel is also really nice on this one. Love it!
User: Spdrjrslm Score: 5 Entered: about 1 month ago
The first peanut butter recipe I actually loved. Everything about this is perfect. If you're looking for a PB&J vape, this is the one.
User: Spdrjrslm Score: 5 Entered: about 1 month ago
This reminds me of a blueberry muffin made with sour cream in the batter that has a strudel topping. Really good stuff.
User: Spdrjrslm Score: 5 Entered: about 1 month ago
Real deal oatmeal cream pie. This is something I'd expect to find at a real deal bakery where they make some real top shelf stuff. Or maybe you bought it off an Amish cart. Either way, this stuff is chewy, chewy oatmeal cookies with a fantastic sweet cream filling. The filing is delicious, but not overly sweet, just sweet enough. Fantastic.
User: Spdrjrslm Score: 5 Entered: about 1 month ago
A nice thick, far better than your standard pudding cup, pistachio pudding. The pistachio is perfect here and that pudding base... Delicious.
User: Spdrjrslm Score: 5 Entered: about 1 month ago
Wow. Just wow. Thick, rich, creamy pudding that's just full of a super buttery butterscotch/caramel. Think an incredibly buttery, almost broken caramel mixed into a real deal pudding. Amazing work!
User: Spdrjrslm Score: 5 Entered: about 1 month ago
A really nice flaky pastry topped with a sweet, slightly funky filling, and smeared with a little delicious cream cheese icing. Really good stuff! I bought a bunch of Baker's Touch specifically for this recipe.
User: Spdrjrslm Score: 5 Entered: about 1 month ago
A solid slightly funky guava soda. I normally don't do a lot with cooling, but it's absolutely necessary here. Awesome job!
User: Spdrjrslm Score: 5 Entered: about 1 month ago
This stuff is killer in any setup I throw it in. Low voltage, high voltage, tank, RDA, it doesn't care. It pumps out a ridiculous amount of raspberry flavor backed up by a banging milkshake base. Sweet, thick, and delicious.
User: Spdrjrslm Score: 5 Entered: about 1 month ago
I absolutely love this stuff. I'm very sorry for your cinnamon loss.
User: Spdrjrslm Score: 5 Entered: about 1 month ago
Definitely subtle, but nice flavor with an absolutely incredibly mouthfeel. Thickness for days.
User: Spdrjrslm Score: 5 Entered: about 1 month ago
This one has frequently found it's way into my rotation. Nice mild creamy strawberry action with a little (and very welcome) nuttiness. The use of strawberry flavors I'm not incredibly accustomed to are a nice change and make this really pleasant. Love it!
User: Spdrjrslm Score: 5 Entered: about 1 month ago
I really enjoy this. It reminds me of a Cinnabon, but thick and creamy.
User: Spdrjrslm Score: 5 Entered: about 1 month ago
I was on the fence about mixing this, because it's just all graham. How good could it be, right? How wrong I was. Needless to say I'm very glad I decided to give it a shot. Graham all day! This stuff is absolutely delicious and has taken its place among my 120ml bottles. Awesome job!
User: Spdrjrslm Score: 5 Entered: about 1 month ago
Absolutely amazing. Sweet, funky, spiced deliciousness with a pleasant bit of cooling. This is just perfect.
User: Spdrjrslm Score: 5 Entered: about 1 month ago
Really great stuff and easily adaptable to any application where you want some bourbon. A+
User: Spdrjrslm Score: 5 Entered: about 1 month ago
This is exactly what I needed. A nice juicy, fruity, citrusy, funky IPA. I love this with most adult beverages, especially when it's warm outside.
User: Spdrjrslm Score: 5 Entered: about 1 month ago
A perfect soda base. You could put INW Old Gym Socks in this and it would still be amazing.
User: Spdrjrslm Score: 5 Entered: about 1 month ago
You hit the nail on the head with this one. The first taste for me was exactly what you intended this to be. Every element works so well together. This is an absolutely incredible work by one of the great tobacconists of our community. You owe it to yourself to mix this up. Kick back by the fire with a nice glass of whatever you prefer, and enjoy.
User: Spdrjrslm Score: 5 Entered: about 1 month ago
A great cream base with a really great pear. I love that the cream is present, but not too heavy and compliments the pear so well. Love this stuff, great work.
User: Spdrjrslm Score: 4 Entered: about 1 month ago
I really like the bourbon and toasted marshmallow together. I already knew that from Coop's Kiwi Bourbon, but this is a nice change of pace from that.
User: Spdrjrslm Score: 5 Entered: about 1 month ago
As a big fan of Coop's Kiwi Bourbon, I really enjoyed this. The Forest Fruits pair real nice with everything. I don't know what the Oba Oba is actually doing, but I like it.
User: Spdrjrslm Score: 5 Entered: about 1 month ago
I love everything about this and it's always in my rotation. It's difficult for me to describe, but it's pine/juniper forward with a nice dance going on with the sweet, fruity, funky players here. Every time I needed a SNV I reach for this.
User: Spdrjrslm Score: 5 Entered: about 1 month ago
The dark berries and licorice work so well together. I love the sweetness and mouthfeel that make this feel like an actual candy. Great work!
User: Spdrjrslm Score: 5 Entered: about 1 month ago
What is not to love? Black licorice and delicious custard. It's tasty off the shake, but a steep really does some amazing things to this one.
User: Spdrjrslm Score: 5 Entered: about 1 month ago
Man, do I love your melon balls! Wild Melon is one of my favorites and what you've done with it is delicious.
User: Spdrjrslm Score: 5 Entered: about 1 month ago
Spot on and so very good. The citrus and licorice play together so well and the sweetness level and mouthfeel are fantastic.
User: Spdrjrslm Score: 5 Entered: about 1 month ago
Simple and flavorful, I really love this. Funky, fruity, and delicious.
User: Spdrjrslm Score: 5 Entered: about 1 month ago
To me, you can't go wrong with any of these flavors (not that I would have thought to put some of them together) and you all put them together so well. Great work!
User: Spdrjrslm Score: 5 Entered: about 1 month ago
Syrupy, peachy deliciousness over lovely ice cream. Great work, this is fantastic.
User: Spdrjrslm Score: 5 Entered: about 1 month ago
Spot on rendition of an Irish Coffee. This one is so perfect, I'm tempted to drink it.
User: Spdrjrslm Score: 5 Entered: about 1 month ago
I'm late to the party here, but this is a really tasty recipe. The peach and blueberry are there, but everything is mashed together in a really great way. I don't typically gravitate towards recipes with cooling, but it works amazingly well here.
User: Spdrjrslm Score: 5 Entered: about 1 month ago
Licorice ice cream was something I've been wanting to work on. Here it is, though. The salted caramel really boosts the licorice and the ice cream is fantastic.
User: Spdrjrslm Score: 5 Entered: about 1 month ago
A really great gin, melon, and citrus soda mix. I dig it.
User: Spdrjrslm Score: 5 Entered: 22 days ago
Simple recipe that does everything it does very well.
