Profile: Yoghurt Drink with Matcha
I'm a giant fan of Lime Drink (http://alltheflavors.com/recipes/151335#lime_drink_by_maxsavage) made by @AlfredPudding and @SavageMax so much, so it inspired me to make this.
Compared to their original recipe, I adjusted the numbers for the VT Yoghurt Drink a little, to not overpower the FLV Eisai tea too much.
The idea of adding FLV Eisai to the original recipe came to me the day I first tried Eisai. I found it fitting so well, that I had to try and see if my nose was onto something good here.
The FLV Eisai tea adds a nice earthy Matcha flavor to the mix, that I find go super well with the remaining ingredients in this.
I fiddled around with the lime a little, tried a few different ones that I felt would perhaps go well with the Eisai, and I landed on VT Persian lime, as I find it to be a perfect mixture of sweet and zesty for the Eisai.
To add a finishing touch, I added a little vanilla into it, as I in the past have experienced with adding vanilla to the Lime Drink recipe and where I have tried a few, everywhere from FA Vanilla Bourbon, CAP French Vanilla, CAP Vanilla Custard, CAP Vanilla Whipped Cream, FLV Vanilla Pudding. But I finally settled on INW Shisha Vanilla, as I find it to give that nice vanilla top note that doesn't bully around so much.
I have tried to not stray too far off of the original recipe, but I think this what I have here is pretty enjoyable.
Give it 2 days steep for it all to blend in nicely, but works fine as SNV.
Profile: Danish puff pastry with vanilla pudding, powdered sugar and a little almond
Been through several version of this.
First few version I used CAP Cinnamon Danish Swirl, but it wasn't really I was looking for as the cinnamon note was way too heavy for what I was going for.
A traditional danish "spandauer" doesn't have any cinnamon in it at all, so my idea for making the pastry with it got scrapped.
I kept in VT Croissant that has been there from the start, but I felt it didn't really hold up on it's own. So I introduced WF Croissant SC to back it up. At 1% I feel it does the job backing up the 3% VT Croissant.
For the pudding I have tried a few custards such as FA Custard and Custard Prem. CAP Vanilla Custard was at the table at some point too, all in some variations with FLV Vanilla Pudding.
Sadly, no matter the combination I did, I just felt it was too overpowering, so for my final version, I decided to just stick it with FLV Vanilla Pudding.
The almond just serves as an accent for topping and so does the OOO Powdered Sugar.
It's a simple recipe, but I quite like it despite the simplicity it has.
I feel this is best after about 12 days, but very enjoyable after just 7.
Profile: Black tea with lemon and a dash of honey
So I wanted to make an asian inspired tea!
I equipped myself with FLV Eisai and FA Black Tea for the base of the tea - I feel they each bring components that truly go very well for an asian style tea.
For my fruits I might have taken the slightly safe and maybe obvious choice using lemon, but to accomplish my mission to make this tasty, it just couldn't be different.
CAP Lemon Lime just has a flavor that goes well in beverages. I see it mostly for sodas, but in my head it would fit perfect for a tea as well. To make the tea more fluent and combat the dryness FA Black Tea brings, I figured FLV Lemonade would play a good supporting role in the mix, both for flavor and texture.
I hadn't actually planned on adding honey into this, but I felt I needed something sweet to dance both with the dark flavor tea has and the citrus. I looked over what I had in my stash. Considered this and and that, but fell on VT Golden Syrup.
I discovered that when you combine VT Golden Syrup and FLV Eisai, it gives off a very nice lightly floral and almost fresh off of the beehive honey taste, in addition to the accent of green tea. Very delicious!
FLV Eisai brings some nice earthy and floral flavors to this mix, that to me makes this very authentic.
INW Cactus is there to make everything just a little more juicy and nice.
This flavor tastes exactly like the brand "Oishi Black Lemon tea" which is an asian tea - just without all the sugar.
Let it steep for a few days - 2-3 I'd say. Works alright as SnV, but the tea is a tad too strong at that point.

Profile: Peach Cream Pie
Worked a bit on this for a while, trying to balance the peaches.
Problem with WF Peach Pie & Cream is, that it's really just peach & cream - no pie! So to construct a light pie, I used 1% AP, 1% FA Apple Pie and a little INW Biscuit for some texture.
FLV Cream at 0.75% are there to boost the creaminess.
I felt JF Honey Peach would work well with WF Peach Pie & Cream to add some sweetness to the mix.
FA Custard Prem is used here as a filler for the pie itself.
Best after steeping a week.
Profile: Black licorice and dark berry candy - flavor of my childhood.
Was a bit up and down with this one to get the licorice balanced correctly. Goal was to get some anise and some salmiak but not too much of either.
First version contained 2.5% FA Black Touch and 1% CAP Licorice - Too much anise and too little (none really) salmiak.
So I took FA Black Touch down .5% and added that .5% to the CAP Licorice - great success!
Next up was to balance the berries.
First version I used 1% FLV boysenberry, 0.5% FA Blackcurrant and 2% WF Sour Blue Raspberry Candy.
The Sour Blue Raspberry Candy added some good taste, but sadly brought along some perfume as well, which I didn't care much for.
After talking it over with @nowar - who suggested CAP Jelly Candy (lots and lots of credit to him for that), Sour Blue Raspberry Candy was scrapped in favor.
Second version - now with @nowar onboard, we felt the berries lacked a little, so we added another .25% to the FLV Boysenberry and struck gold!
Powdered sugar is mainly there to help the FLV Boysenberry with the taste of candy.
CAP Super Sweet does not need an explanation why its there.
To me this taste just like my childhood, where to @nowar this taste like adulthood - thought that was a funny little quote to have in.
Where I come from, a mixture of black licorice and berries is not unheard of - in fact, it's very common and kids do enjoy that flavor a lot.

Profile: Melon candy!
I recently picked up a few candy flavors that I wanted to work with, to cover some ground in that area as well.
The best way for me to start working with candy, was to find a fruit profile that I really enjoy and in this case, that would be melons.
Choices of flavors:
For the melon, I landed pretty securely on FLV Wild Melon, as it gives a great bunch of melons in one single concentrate.
But I felt it needed a little extra, so I tossed in FLV Watermelon as well as a booster.
Further I wanted to bolster the sweetness of the melons and at the same time start adding in the candy effect to the fruits. Here my choice fell on CAP Sweet Guava.
While Sweet Guava on its own can be very weak, it does have some awesome abilities to both sweeten up other fruits and add some nice exotic top notes.
To make the candy a candy, but not sugary disgustingly sweet candy my choices fell on OOO Powdered Sugar and WF Sour Ball Candy.
Those two always works out great in a combo. The powdered sugar adds a great sugary accent, that you just cannot get out of a sweetener, where the Sour Ball Candy adds the texture of a sort of chewy candy and brings a little sourness.
All in all, I'm pretty satisfied.
It's good right off the rip, but I suggest you leave it for half a day.
The WF Sour Ball Candy and Powdered sugar needs a few hours to really blend in well with the fruits to make it shine.
A while ago, I picked up WF Butterscotch Cream Pie - and quite frankly... I forgot why.
So I thought to myself "enough is enough!" and I made this with it.
I decided the mixture of AP, INW biscuit and FA Apple Pie would make the perfect crust I was looking for and it has a sort of butteriness over this combo. And I really wanted you to taste the crust!
Duh.. WF Butterscotch Cream Pie, which is helped on its way by INW Custard, FW Butterscotch Ripple and a little bit SS to make it disgustingly sweet.
I find that WF Butterscotch Cream Pie has just about enough cream in it for me to get away not using a cream - although FW Butterscotch Ripple does give it a hand with that as well.
It tastes pretty fatty, sweet and buttery. Makes me feel like a disgusting pig vaping this, but it's such a guilty pleasure really.
Give it about 3 days steep and you're good to go.
Profile: Blueberries + Kiwi drink
I find blueberries and kiwi usually goes well hand in hand.
It's an easy liking profile and doesn't give so much hassle.
I went with my usual combo of FA Bilberry and FW Blueberry, as I find this to give a pretty realistic blueberry.
For the choice of kiwi, I find FA Kiwi to run the show, but does need some back-up from FW Kiwi to complete it.
Tossed in a little FA Cold Pressed Lime as I find the syrup flavor it has fits this profile very well, to combat the sweetness from both the blueberry and kiwi - gives it some edge.
FLV Lemonade are in for the drink element and INW Cactus to make it juicy.
Add coolant to your liming - I hate coolants as I'm getting more and more tolerant, so my pref. is 1%
Works perfectly fine as a SnV!
Profile: Papaya and cherimoya curd topped with pistachio
So I did a hangout with @Alfredpudding and I may have told him, that WF Cherimoya SC smells like fart. That may have made him a little upset and when @MaxSavage heard that, he may have gone a little upset too. So I promised them, to make something with WF Cherimoya SC.
My initial try had Cherimoya at 3% blended with 1% WF Passionfruit and FLV Milk & Honey at 1.25% - and then the rest of this recipe, minus the TFA Papaya.
That was NOT a hit and tasted really weird. The taste I get from Cherimoya is that it's sort of sweet, but right there at the back-end, it has this sort of hops flavor to it. That just didn't go well with either passionfruit nor milk & honey.
To tame the back-end flavor of hops a little, but to still keep it in, I dropped Cherimoya to 1.25% and added in TFA Papaya at 1.5%, as I felt it would fit with the exotic thing I was after - and boy did that do the trick!
The pistachio does a nice little dance with both the cherimoya and papaya giving it a little sweet nutty twist. FLV Sweet Coconut joins the dance, and it's a straight rave of flavors!
The cream binds it all together and makes so very delicious, smooth and round.
You can rip into this right off the bat! Want it more creamy, give it a day or 2.

Profile: Licorice rod with sweet citrus filling!
I started this off with CAP Licorice at 3%, FE Lemon at 2% and FLV Sweet Coconut at 1% and TPA Marshmallow at 1%
However, the licorice weren't strong enough and the FE Lemon didn't really stand a chance on it's own.
I tried upping the licorice to 4% (was too much!) and adding in VT Sour Lemon at 1.25%. Which just made it taste like citrus dishwasher soap with a shot of heavy licorice in it - NOT GOOD!
So I ended with the following:
I was very much against using sweetener in this, as I know CAP Licorice and sweetener doesn't always tango that well, plus I wanted to see if I could make a candy without any sweetener in it.
I dropped the FE Lemon a bit to avoid the soapy flavor it potentially can add and brought in FA Blood Orange to help it. The Blood Orange also brings some of the sweetness I felt would fit a candy and 0.75% seems to be just right.
Both the marshmallow and meringue serves is the texture for the filling and helps the candy flavor on its way too.
I feel this profile fits people who don't like black licorice that much, but also works as a great entry into the world of licorice vapes.
I like it as SnV, but some people think it only gets better and better with some steeping - so it's up to you!
