Let’s kick off the influx of Root Beer recipes with a simple take on a local legend.

Fitz’s is a championed St. Louis root beer. This recipe attempts to mimic it with FLV Root Beer and Holy Vanilla. Root Beer is top heavy with an incredible wintergreen note. Holy Vanilla adds some dark, spicy, and creamy backbone to the profile. Super Sweet is needed here to get that sticky, soda sweetness. 0.25% is my personal preference, but you can bump it up if you really want that sugar lips sensation.

Shake and vape certified. It should become even more cohesive over the course of a week as the root beer relaxes further into the vanilla.

Decadent, fresh-baked Gooey Butter Cake straight from gam-gam's oven. Getchya some.

GBC is a St. Louis staple much like cracker crust pizza, toasted raviolis, and culturally segregated racism. It's the preferred weapon of midwestern women looking to mass kill their families via coronary blockage. Confectioner's sugar, yellow cake mix, sugar, eggs, powdered sugar, cream cheese, and more sugar make up this wonderful treat. It's likely the most unhealthy food in existence, which is exactly why it is also the most delicious.. The ol' flavor-health inversion principle. It's science.

Flavor Notes:

FW Yellow Cake is my star. It's so good that it's bad for you (and your coils), the true mark of a great flavoring. 3% gives a strong yellow cake flavor and some grainy texture in this recipe. You can sub JF if you realllllly want to, but double the percentage. It will not be the same at all.

INW Custard mixes in the eggs and takes the cake texture down to a gooey, batter-esque mouthfeel. 1.25% provides density and amplifies the "yellow" part of the cake mix.

LA Cream Cheese Icing is also helping texture. 0.5% stiffens up the gooey texture enough for that gritty, stick-to-your-teeth sweetness. The cream cheese note also fills out the cake mix and custard.

OoO Powdered Sugar is a new flavor to me. Thadentman recommended it, and he was right in doing so. At 1.5%, it does powdered sugar better than meringue or torrone could without altering the flavor too much. You get a touch of that dry, powder texture laying throughout the recipe.

CAP Super Sweet is needed here. If you've had GBC, you know how insanely sweet it is. I'm not going that far with 0.25%, but I wanna get close.

Steeping: It's good fresh, but over the course of a week to two weeks it will come together more. The little bit of Cream Cheese Icing takes some time to do its thing.

Strawberry ice cream

I haven't done many public recipes lately, so I whipped this super easy one together to kick me back into gear.

Flavor Notes:

4% CAP Sweet Strawberry and 3% TPA Strawberry form a solid strawberry with sweet top notes and a fleshy body.

3% TPA VBIC, 1% HS FVIC, and 0.5% FA Meringue create a rich and buttery ice cream base.

Just a touch of sweetener was included because it really helps me taste strawberries and because it's ice cream.

Optionally, throw in 0.3-0.5% JF Biscuit for some added complexity if you want the classic profile.

Shake and vape certified. I prefer a good 1-2 week steep on it, but there's never enough to last that long.

If you aren't into cinnamon, strawberries, bananas, or apples I still have a few tricks up my sleeve for you. Let's try some kiwi this time around!

Toasted Redux #4: Who's the Goose? - Once again, I pulled the cinnamon and adjusted the base. Cereal 27 went up 2%, Meringue and Cream Fresh dropped 0.5%, and some kiwi slid in. Cereal and milk notes are over on Toasted.

Flavor Notes:

FA Kiwi kind of reminds me of FA Fuji. This has a more tropical vibe to it though. Kiwi isn't as crisp and crunchy as Fuji. It's creamier and more juicy. It's weak for FA, so I had to push it high. 4% carries through the cream and competes with the cereal.

This is a perfectly good shake and vape, but, as with anything, it gets better if you give it some time. Not much happens after 5 days besides the creams figuring themselves out some more.

Happy mixing. 👽

Bananas are boring, strawberries are sweet, cinnamon is spicy. You're a tough sale, but that's okay! How do you like... Them apples?

Toasted Redux #3. Pulled that cinnamon, threw in some apple, and adjusted the base. Upped Cereal 27 to compete with the crispness of Fuji. Dropped Meringue and Cream Fresh a touch because the apple sticks to them and they were taking over. Makes for a nice dry cereal and tart apple cream vape. Notes for everything but apple are over on Toasted.

Flavor Notes:

FA Fuji is my guy. I needed a crisp apple to drop right next to the cereal, and there's nothing better than ol' faithful. At 2% it doesn't totally take over, but it begins to command the recipe. Fuji's tasty. I know it, you know it, we all know it. Boom.

This is good off the shake, but after 5 days it starts to become whole. Fuji will recess a bit and the creams will settle.

Sweet and boozy blueberry cream

Breakfast Bowls #3: Groot Loops - A bowlful of fresh Froot Loops with a little bit of milk.

This is a pretty linear profile. I wanted it to be straightforward and simple. I kept turning Fruit Rings up until I was satisfied. Then, I used some creams to smooth it out and bolster the mouthfeel. Big departure here, I know. I'm stuck on cereal vapes. What can I say?

Flavor Notes:

Acetyl Pyrazine is giving texture to Fruit Rings. 0.75 is just enough to make it seem like fresh cereal without being too sharply crunchy.

Cheesecake Graham Crust helps both sides of the equation. The graham works with the AP to ensure a grainy cereal texture. The cheesecake gives body and sweetness to the milk. At 1%, it doesn't give off a cheesecake flavor in the mix; it just does it's background duties.

Cream Fresh is the cream element that's keeping Fruit Rings from getting weird. It softens the sharper notes without killing the cereal texture. 1% is enough to make a noticeable impact on the profile, but it doesn't distract from that main top note.

Fruit Rings is used pretty high here. I really wanted to get everything I could out of this flavor. I think it represents Froot Loops pretty damn well. The fruit notes are authentic to the cereal, and the texture is on target as well. 6% squeezes out about all there is to be had. It does get sharp up there, but I didn't want to accent it and distract from the profile. Chose to suck it up and work out the kinks with creams instead.

Marshmallow is acting as both a mild sweetener and to mildly texturize. 1% fluffs up the milk and cereal to a satisfying mouthfeel. It also helps out the fruit notes with its tasty, sweet deliciousness.

Steeping is easy for this stuff. Mix it and rips it. I think it gets better after a week, but I just mix enough for a few weeks and vape through the steeping. It's great out of the gate, and I imagine some will like it best fresh.

No cinnamon? No strawberries? No worries, we'll get your cornflakes fixed up. Let's load this bowl... With sliced bananas.

Toasted Redux #2. Pulled the cinnamon and I pushed Cereal 27 from 3% to 5% to stand up to the banana. I dialed back Meringue from 2% to 1.5% and Cream Fresh from 1.5% to 1%. The banana flavoring I used is already quite creamy, so I didn't need as much "milk." If you're interested in the cereal/milk notes, check out Toasted.

Flavor Notes:

TPA Banana Cream is the one, simple, easy, malleable, reliable, tasty addition to the recipe. It's a sweet banana flavor that can pass as authentic enough in the right situations. One of those situations is a bowl of sugary cereal and sweet milk. It's a very easy flavor to work with. It tends to do it's own thing with everything but creams. In this recipe it melts into the cream, while the inherently starchy flavor of banana plays well with the flaky cereal. 2% is all we need. Don't want it to take over. We aren't eating a banana covered in cornflakes, even though I want to now.

This is pretty much ready to rock from the get go. Give it a few days to a week for the creams to figure themselves out and it gets even better.

Cinnamon-dusted lemon meringue filling inside an Oreo cookie and Danish pastry crust.

Remix of Electric Liquid's "Frequency"

Flavor Notes:

CAP Lemon Meringue Pie is the backbone of the recipe. This is a pretty full flavor that doesn't need much emphasizing or influencing. 8% gives us a citrusy lemon filling that stands up to the chocolate crust. It doesn't tower over the crust; instead they intermingle together.

RF Cookies & Cream SC is Oreos. I've raved about this flavor for over a year. I loved the VG version, and the SC is basically identical as far as I can tell. It's a lovely chocolate flavor with almost enough cookie crunch to contrast with our pie filling. You got your freebie from the fine folks at RF, so why don't you put it to use?

CAP Cinnamon Danish Swirl acts as our cinnamon dusting and doughy pastry part of the crust. The cinnamon plays well with Lemon Meringue Pie. Rich Cinnamon over powered and took up too much of the flavor stage. 1% is all we need; any more and that weird Capella cinnamon becomes too much.

FA Meringue is filling out the Lemon Meringue Pie and emphasizing that thick layer of cream on top. 1% soaks up the cinnamon and keeps that metallic taste at bay. Meringue doesn't seem to dampen the texture of bakeries and cereals as much as some other creams. That's good because it's tough striking a balance here between crunchy crust and creamy filling.

INW Biscuit is just helping the RF C&C with a little texture. 0.5% pushes that cookie crunch of the crust a little bit more without interfering in the rest of the pie.

1% FE Lemon is bolstering the lemon meringue and helping push it through the Oreo crust.

This makes a really good shake and vape. Give the Super Concentrate a few days to settle though, and things really come together. This stuff ages like wine; squirrel a little bit away for a rainy day.

Instead of pouring cinnamon powder on my cornflakes, I chopped up some sugar-coated strawberries and tossed them in the bowl.

Toasted Redux #1. I replaced Rich Cinnamon with a couple strawberries. I also bumped Cereal 27 from 3% to 5% so it will stand up to the strawberries enough. Really simple adaptation, yet it radically changes the profile. See Toasted for the cereal notes if you're interested.

Flavor Notes:

CAP Sweet Strawberry is a bright, sugary, kind of candied flavor. It's exactly the kind of Strawberry you want in your cornflakes. At 4% it plays with Cereal 27 as a top note. It's presence is also felt on the bottom of the recipe in the milk.

TPA Strawberry Ripe brings a touch of that authentic, fresh strawberry flavor to the mix. 2% isn't very apparent, but it fleshes out the CAP Sweet Strawberry. There's not much else to say about it.

This is a good shake and vape. Let it sit for 1-3 days first and you will be rewarded.

This is really good. Great balance of the two flavors. It packs a punch for being 6% flavoring! Smooth, sweet, and easy on the palate. It's an excellent shake and vape as well. Thanks for sharing!
User: MrBurgundy Score: 3 Entered: 9 months ago
It's very rich. I can't vape it for long without getting overwhelmed. That said, I enjoy it for a couple drips here and there. The chocolate and cream are balanced really well; its creamy but still has crunch. The CFB gives it a cookie texture that I didn't expect from that flavor. However, I don't get an Oreo or Hydrox cookie. To me, it's more like one of those chocolate wafer cookies minus the wafer flavor.

By far one of the best recipes out there. Its so realistic and so scrumptious. There's always a giant bottle of this perched on my desk. It's such a full flavor and it smells absolutely divine. You will make stomachs rumble with hunger when vaping this around people. No subs allowed: it is perfected. :P What are you waiting for?? Get mixing!
User: MrBurgundy Score: 5 Entered: 10 months ago
Cereal vapes aren't my bag, but this right here? This is the ticket. Creamy and sweet with just the right amount of citrus. I could vape on this milky delight all week long. Most impressive!
User: MrBurgundy Score: 5 Entered: 8 months ago
Wow. This is a great vape. I get all of the different fruits but none too much. The Fuji and Watermelon are most present, especially as a shake and vape, but I get Strawberry at the end of the exhale and light Dragonfruit throughout. Cactus gives it juicyness and this twang that I have trouble explaining. It makes for a fantastic fruit mix that keeps you coming back for more. Depending on what you focus on, the flavors seem to play which each other a little different every draw. Rarely do I mix big batches of all fruit recipes, but this is definitely getting the 120 treatment. Thanks for sharing, ID10-T!

I've tried this with the chocolate and without. They're both good, but I prefer without. It's a thick, buttery ice cream with just the right amount of strawberry. The strawberry is bright and sweet, and it blends right into the ice cream. There's the slightest tang that doesn't come from the berries, and I think it's the Sweet Cream. That's the only thing that comes across off to me, but it isn't very noticeable. After all, I am a little sensitive to that flavor. I mixed 60ml and let it steep 4 weeks before trying. Really nice vape at that point. I'll likely mix this again and would recommend it to someone looking for this profile.
User: MrBurgundy Score: 4 Entered: 7 months ago
I mixed this almost 2 months ago and forgot about it.. Oops! It's really good. A chewy, creamy sugar cookie with a nutty and spicy vanilla note. I remember dunkaroos being a little crisper, but this recipe is tasty nonetheless! Definitely one of the better cookie recipes out there. Mix it up!

Drinking leads me to crack cocaine, burning cars, dumpsters behind strip clubs, homeless Vietnam vets, and long stints in prison. St. Louis better get ready for a whirlwind of absolute mayhem because I'm pounding back some Piña Coladas again. Well, I could have sworn I was. This stuff is as accurate as you can get in a vape. This is the real deal. The pineapple juice is perfection. The coconut is sweet and present, but where's the lotion?? Where is it?? It isn't here! Oh, right, it isn't supposed to be. I thought that was impossible, but leave it to ID to prove me wrong. The Rum comes through right where I liked it in the real stuff.. A good pour, but not enough to kick you in the teeth. That's what Old Crow and other miserably cheap whiskey is for, or so I was lead to believe. This has a smooth and creamy mouthfeel like it was blended by a professional alcoholic. This is great for the spring and summer. It's refreshing and bright. Mix it up. Why wouldn't you? This page of reviews might as well be the night sky. Cheers!

Excellent recipe. The lemon isn't overbearing at all. It's thick and creamy with a flaky, fluffy pastry. It keeps you coming back for more. ADV status. Will definitely be mixing again.
User: MrBurgundy Score: 5 Entered: 6 months ago
Flawless apple pie. A beautifully baked and gooey apple with the perfect amount of cinnamon and a flaky, doughy crust. This isn't a $1 apple pie from the D's or the grocery store. This is an expensive pie made fresh at a local bakery or perhaps even your grandmothers house. I let it steep for two weeks and it's golden. I'm sure it only gets better with time.
User: MrBurgundy Score: 5 Entered: 6 months ago
This is a fantastic Strawberry and Cream recipe. The strawberry is rich, sweet, and fresh. It isn't cloyingly sweet or syrupy though. The cream is thick with enough vanilla to keep it interesting. After a two week steep, I definitely recommend this. I'll be mixing a big batch soon!
User: MrBurgundy Score: 5 Entered: 6 months ago
Sweet, buttery strawberry ice cream. I was worried about Shisha Strawberry; that flavor and I tend to disagree. Somehow the HS Ice Cream bullies it down from its syrupy high horse into an authentic ice cream sort of strawberry. The Pear and Lemon Sicily work together to lift the right parts of the strawberry without letting that jammy quality emerge. Obviously HS IC and TPA VBIC are a fantastic combo. They're so thick and buttery and rich.. I felt like they were fighting with the strawberry as a shake and vape, but after a 2 week steep everything has melded together into a cohesive and fully satisfying ice cream. Highly recommended.
User: MrBurgundy Score: 5 Entered: 6 months ago
I really enjoy this. The cream is mild and clean. The strawberry is tart and dominant. As a shake and vape the apple was a little too distracting for me. After a 2 week steep it has calmed down and I enjoy it much more. Next time I mix this, which will be soon, I'll likely drop Fuji to 0.5%. That's just personal preference. The recipe is fantastic as it is. The complexity of the strawberry is intriguing, and I find myself taking 5 or 6 draws to get a good sense of it. That's the mark of a great recipe!
User: MrBurgundy Score: 5 Entered: 6 months ago
Wonderfully creamy and nutty tobacco. I can vape this all day. The cherry note of Marzipan gives the RY4 a deep sweetness that works so well with Milk and Honey. The drier pistachio note brings out the nut flavor just enough. This is my new favorite tobacco vape. Make this stuff in large quantities!
User: MrBurgundy Score: 5 Entered: 6 months ago
Oh yeah. This is the good stuff.. Snakes and sparklers. Been too long to judge the accuracy, but this is a phenomenal strawberry custard. It isn't overwhelming or in your face. It's layered, proportionate, and subtly complex. The strawberry blends right into the custard creating this decadent and sweet treat with a little textured graham note on the bottom. It's all working in sync, and even the numbers make me happy. An absolute joy to vape. ADV recipe here. I faved it. Have you?
User: MrBurgundy Score: 5 Entered: 6 months ago
This is good stuff. I expected that Hard Candy to hit me like a brick sack of potatoes, but it's actually layered into the recipe really well. It isn't off-putting whatsoever. I never use menthol or koolada, however mint does fit this profile so perfectly. The sweet and candied Watermelon is right up front. Jungle Juice and Hard Candy give it those weird sugary notes. Pretty spot on watermelon candy to me. Thanks for sharing!
User: MrBurgundy Score: 5 Entered: 5 months ago
This is a solid recipe. It's a very mild citrus cereal with thick cream. Never had the original, so I can't vouch for authenticity. The Brown Sugar really gives the recipe complexity. I love the way it sweetens the milk and gives a dark contrast to the bright lemon cereal. It's a very full and satisfying vape. I'll definitely be adding this to my regular rotation.
User: MrBurgundy Score: 5 Entered: 3 months ago
I haven't had the original, but holy mackerel this is a tasty recipe. It's a wonderfully balanced vape that smells like pineapples. The flavor blossoms into a magnetic blend of P, O, and G. The Passionfruit has a slight floral note that really adds an interesting flair to the recipe. Excellent work, Gwandrei. Thanks for sharing!
User: MrBurgundy Score: 5 Entered: 3 months ago
Thick, nuanced brown butter ice cream. Shyndo nailed this one. I thoroughly enjoyed this fresh, but over the course of two weeks it has solidified into an absolute treat. The sweet, almost tangy caramel is backed up by a rich vanilla ice cream. The FLV Cream really emulsifies everything together through the steep. Such a good call. It isn't overbearingly sweet; I can vape it all day long. This is a definite keeper. I'll be mixing a major stash. Thanks for sharing, Shyndo. Very well done, my friend.
User: MrBurgundy Score: 5 Entered: 3 months ago
This is a really enjoyable vape. The ice cream is buttery and thick, and the caramel/butterscotch is sweet. It doesn't punch you in the face, making for a great all day vape. The way the "brown butter" lingers on that buttery note in HS Ice Cream is fantastic. I'll definitely be mixing this again in a larger quantity. Thanks for sharing!
